Non League outfit Grimsby Town have agreed to sign Scunthorpe United attacker John McAtee, according to Football Insider.
The 21-year-old has reportedly rejected offers from multiple EFL clubs to head to Blundell Park and links up with former Iron boss Paul Hurst for a third spell.
Grimsby will pay Scunthorpe a compensation fee for McAtee, who is out of contract this month but was offered a deal to stay at Glanford Park.
He found chances limited under Neil Cox last season, making just 12 starts and scoring two goals as the Iron narrowly avoided relegation.
