I posted this about Rodwell weeks ago. As for the ownership, two turds go and a Turk* comes in, if a takeover happens. Interesting times as ever. Oh and on last night’s display (God alone knows where that came from) Tom Eaves won’t be crossing the bridge. 🙂
* He travels more than Michael Palin!
Badge change? Could have been worse, oh for new owners. :-)

I hope for Alcazar’s sake Swann doesn’t pick up on this.
Or Hu*berside plod. They recently banned a Hull fan for ‘persistent gobbing off’, oddly enough I can’t find that anywhere on the statute book.
Some people will except boring football if they win, even me, but we didn’t win so it was all just a waste of time.
I’ll accept that. 😋
” If anyone is being selfish BS it is you, you must be at least 80 yes old, why should society be looking after you? can’t imagine your contributing to the wealth of the nation anymore in fact you are drawing a pension and are a drain on the NHS, whereas many of those 10 to 15% you refer to are paying national insurance and taxes to get hospital treatment, Which is not free it all and as to be paid for by taxpayers, no doubt you contributed as well but they never envisaged people would live as long as people are nowadays so do us all a favour and help out in a way that you know you can.”
If it’s a joke please post the punchline, if you’re serious get fu….

We played them in a pre season friendly in Albufeira a few years back, good set of fans.
Not guilty. A phrase I often use! ;-)
Rumour has it he’s lined up to be CEO for Hull’s new owner, if a new owner completes the purchase. Can’t find it on here, but I said he’d wash up somewhere else.
Ok, so some opposition fans have been known to accuse Brighton fans of all being g**, or words to that effect.
I’m fairly sure God is not a Brighton fan.

Super duper 60’x30′ tv screen to be unveiled at your new/revamped stadium. 😜

Adelekun had 14 games at Hull, maybe two good ones and twelve anonymous ones. A wasted talent.

Hindsight and a selective memory sometimes a shame we can’t remind some on here what they have posted in past
You can, but ‘some’ will flatly deny they ever said it.

Does not work too well in the Championship TW but quite useful at the arse end of League 2. Sounds like Loft but he does not always bother with the tackling bit.
Always gave us a hard time when he was at Gillingham. Worked like a dog and seemed to enjoy the scrap. 10 goals a season man rather than 20 but we would kill for a 10 a season man now
Ditto for 10 a season. 😊
Allegedly he turned a move down at the start of the season to fight for his place, aka the two year deal he was offered elsewhere was equivalent to the one year he had left on his present deal. A whole hearted player that is often fouled with the ref giving nothing, oh and he has the first touch of a sideboard, his second touch is usually him making a tackle. 🙂
Or maybe whilst Hull sack theirs
It’s the hope that kills you. As for Adkins for Scunny, offer him the average L2 wage with a 5k win bonus and 100k for keeping you in L2 this season. No charge for the advice PS.

Needs insuring, taxing, and an MOT as it’s not on the UK database.

WG – if memory serves.
In the last decade, is there any worse record, anywhere in the entire EFL, where a patently unsuccessful manager has managed to hang onto his job for this length of time?
Oh yes. 😜
They must have a database of online ticket transactions so have emails of most of the non-season ticket holders. That should be the next round of surveys / getting the casual fan back. I can tell you now Swann won’t like the feedback one bit
Whooo Hooo, I’m on that database, and as a Yorkshireman I call a ¢~@# a ¢~@#, and he won’t like my feedback. 😜

It reminds me of Paul Jewel at Derby 2007/08 season where if I remember correctly I think they managed to get something like 7points.
Taxi for Cox.
Room for another passenger? 🐯😜
It would have been better if the tractor had ripped the gates from their hinges, hey ho. 😜

If you go on you tube search for iron army this will provide you with at least a few clues.
Well done the fans, as for the amateurs with the bolt croppers, round my way that lock would have lasted all of two seconds if that!
Swann has publicly said he’d sell the club, let’s see how much interest there is.
My guess is zero!
The amount of people who think people will be queuing up to buy SUFC is truly baffling. I didn’t realise there are so many people who are so naive/thick.
Yep, no one was willing to buy the club that finished bottom of the 92 last season, oh ermmm…

October 7, 2021 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215012I understand your plight TW, but your not bottom of the whole football LGE what better challenge could you have than take us from the bottom to the top lge, lot more of a journey and fun than the Saudis turning Newcastle into a plastic club. Or your club for that matter your no longer the the biggest city not to have been in the premiership you’ve been there and done it.
I’ve seen us at the bottom of the FL,and in the PL and the top flight is not all that. Last on Match of the Day, big teams favoured by referees, rip off ticket prices, Johnny-come-lately types snaffling away tickets, et al.
All that said I don’t much care what division it is as I enjoy match days having a beer or three with friends pre match, and post match often having a right good moan. Experience also tells me that the vast majority of football club owners are at best crooked/bent/egotistical gits, and I wouldn’t trust a single one of them if they told me today was Thursday.4 users thanked author for this post.
October 7, 2021 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215008I would like Mike Ashley to takeover the club,. He’s got an extra £300 million burning an hole in his pocket. Though Boohoo are looking to takeover a LGE club, would go down well here and think of all the free advertising they would get our fans are always crying boohoo.
Get in the bleedin’ queue, ‘some’ clubs have been up for sale for the past seven years!
Zzzzz
Excellent, you’ve reached the end of the alphabet. Next week try some simple words, and the week after that put them together and try a few sentences. In the meantime try some mouthwash for your brown tongue. 🙂

Hey TW. Can we have Grant and Cliff back when your soon to be owner brings in his Turkish management team?
Sooner the better, 2 wins in his last 31 Championship games. Oh and it’s a certain irony that before one Turk can come two turds have to sell, and there’s been more rumoured buyers than Swann stadium start dates! 🙂

“The club will pay no rent until it can afford to pay a market rent. It is fully protected, in that it has security of tenure for over 100 years and cannot be moved, or developed unless a new stadium and training facilities are provided elsewhere and that is whilst I am here, or anyone else. It will not be borrowed against and will remain a community football club for all our and our offspring’s lifetimes.”
Your previous post stated a 99 year period, this one states over a hundred years, and I’m fairly sure I originally saw a figure of 999 years stated. Dodgy or a mistake?
None of which takes away from the fact that NO football club should have ownership of its stadium, and surrounding assets, transfered to another company, ever.2 users thanked author for this post.
Would seem like no one wants Derby county either till they enter administration and there £60 million debt is wiped out, be careful what you wish for.
Derby will not have their debt wiped out. Did any Scunthorpe united fan wish for SUFC to lose their stadium and the land around it?

does he live rent free in your head two wrongs
Not really, even though there’s enough room.
Anyway, I thought Exeter played really well. Fan owned club as well
I wonder if Spireiron turned up, or perhaps he’s found yet another club to ‘support’.
