At least it’s not a pointless December.
They must be a bad outfit!
    78 travellers!
    Madmen!

Nope, just loyal fans that deserve far better. Hopefully the same 78 will see your next away win, one that comes where it’s least expected.

    Is it the LibDems?

Whatever the question the answer is seldom the LibDems. 😜

They’re waiting with the ‘told you so’s’ for the first thing to backfire.

They’re waiting with the ‘told you so’s’ for the first thing to backfire.

And again, a successful England team is some ‘supporters’ worst nightmare.

I know a number of City fans who opposed the name change but whenever I asked them why, I never seemed to get a rational answer.
The claim from the Allams was that this would bring in new funding – I never heard anyone deny that this would happen.
Puzzling – but hardly our problem.
Our only issue of import is trying to repair the damage caused at GP by a certain party.

Allam Jr claimed the name change would bring the n a £1m sponsorship deal, when challenged by the FA to provide proof he was unable to do so. The Allams certainly made a profit from their investment via dividends, group tax relief, 5%, later reduced to 4%, interest on their loans, and eventual selling price. Telling long term supporters that ‘they can die when they want’, and calling those that opposed him hooligans, is hardly the best way to win people over. Also the removal of concession prices for kids and oap’s was spiteful. On the other side of the coin local hospitals and the university benefitted enormously from his many donations. The local news reports have it spot on, a man who divided opinion.
Abridged version, hospitals and university work = superb, HCAFC, GTF.

Christian numbers are certainly declining in the West but the numbers are increasing in other parts of the World. God’s glory will be the final outcome.
There is Good News, repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ ( your joy will be everlasting) God is rich in Mercy.
Yep, he showed lots of mercy in Auschwitz. Of course you’ll probably tell me he has sufficient reason for letting evil exist, (your usual guff) but you never give the reason.

Good news and proof, despite what ‘some’ claim, that there’s still buyers out there for football clubs.

I’m hearing Swann has followed my lead and switched to TSB and snaffled £180 just for switching accounts, could explain any delay, but…

It’s only £125 for switching TW, to get the extra £55 you have to commit for six months, can’t see Swanny doing that!

Indeed, when I get the other payment I’ll be off elsewhere, unlike Swann. 💰

I’m sure he will, Gurny, but the problem for Labour is that the party’s split just as much as the Tories when it comes to Brexit and the centre versus the left. It’s just been kept under wraps, but sooner or later it will all come out into the open. Starmer knows he has to support Brexit and avoid the party lurching back to the left to win the election. He also knows that many in the traditional Labour heartland voted for Brexit.

He’s also facing huge problems with the unions. While everyone sympathises with workers, me included, the strikes have been designed to create maximum disruption at a time when people are struggling on all fronts. On top of that many people took a huge financial hit during the pandemic while many of those going on strike received full pay. A chap who does work for us used to be a paramedic and he’s furious with the NHS nurses and ambulance drivers for going on strike, especially given he’s now looking after his wife who has terminal cancer.

The question is how Starmer balances all of this. At the moment it’s easy because the Tories are in such poor shape, but as the election gets nearer he’s going to have to make his policies clear and many of them simply won’t please everyone.

How very novel, strikers pick a time when it’ll have maximum effect, next time perhapsthey should do it when no one will notice. As for your paramedic friend tell him they’ve never had it so easy, most shifts now involve at most two jobs if they’re ‘lucky’, the rest of their time is sat waiting in a queue to admit patients to a&e. My paramedic friend is sick to the back teeth with it, as in his words ‘that’s not what I signed up for’. Fear not though Rishi has a plan, much like all those of the past decade.

Looking on the bright side British fishermen have got their waters back. Oh, Hull had two state of the art trawlers left, one used to catch 10% of haddock and cod (muck) seen in British fish and chip shops. Post Brexit, with Norway slashing the quota, one is up for sale, and the other in danger of going up for sale.
    Marvelous.

Anyone that’s had a bus lane fine in Hull deserves one. They’ve not had one single penny from me as the signs, and times on them, are plain for all to see. Earlier this year though they had to suspend them for legal reasons, and told people in the interim period they’d receive a warning letter. I had six such letters but the bus lanes were empty when I used them. I returned the letters with an appropriate message. 🤭
Oh and Hull, at the minute thanks to a turncoat snake, has a Libdem council.

As I gave said Gurnelisra, this government is shite, but 90% of those sitting in parliament are nothing short of being bloody clowns, have you listened to them on an afternoon on TV.

So Two Wrights, I see today that the Humber View Hotel in North Ferriby have made 40 of your Yorkie pais redundent today, because they are changing the running system to enable the Hotel to accomodate 77 of these ALBANIAN AND

The situation at the hotel is plain wrong, and a disgrace, just like you were plain wrong to suggest the the previous leader of Hull City Council was happy to accept cash for Hull city centre hotels to accept refugees. The Labour leader at the time sent an official complaint to the Home Office, fact. It’s also a fact (which you’ve also ignored) the council was blackmailed by the government into having more bus and cycle lanes, i.e. no bus and cycle lanes equalled no cash for long overdue road repairs.

He appears to have missed the fact that this year’s foreign aid budget is not £15b, but £11.5b, down from last year’s £14.5b. A mere piss in the bucket, given what was spaffed on covid.

Two-rights, it is a lot more than the £11.5 billion you state, the Hull mad Labour brigade got vasts ammounts of government cash for accepting thousands of drop outs and putting them into hotels, the same local government that wanted everyone to use bikes instead of cars, in all of their cycle lanes that were paid for by free money from parliament (tax payers), traffic is now at standstill with empty cycle lanes instead of roads.

Must have been some other Labour leader that complained to the government about refugees been housed in hotels in central Hull, oh hang in on it WAS the one from Hull. The same council though that HAD to accept the cash for cycle lanes, or miss out on extra cash for long needed repairs to three of the main roads in Hull.

Mike Ashley let it be known that he was prepared to sell Newcastle in 2008 and Allam put Hull up for sale in 2014, early days for us only been up for sale since April.

Allam had no intention of selling while the cash cow was still been milked, PL parachute payments, 4% interest on his loans, and group tax relief. Once the parachute payments stopped that’s when he actively looked for a buyer, and rest assured he was millions up on what he’d paid out.
