If it’s luke williams that played for us years back, decent but his injury record is appalling.
I’m afraid alot of the feel good factor has gone ,this is dismal, promotion you are having a laugh
Set up today was awful, barrows struggled and Beeston on the left has been rubbish there all season, so called big players didn’t turn up,butterfield, roberts, whitehall, sorry jimmy you got it all wrong today, but I will always be thankful to you for helping to hold this club together in our darkest days, but it’s time to go.

The detractors on here are not true scunny fans, have a moan by all means but not about something that may or may not happen! UTI.
Give it a bloody rest.

When at first it was suggested to move to ilkeston for training i thought ok as a short term measure, but the more I thought about it,some ground staff are having to be there alot of the time plus what about players visiting schools ,hospital visits, community training days, they would not like coming over from ilkeston after training,so it does make more sense to carry on the traing at glanford Park as ground staff being there anyway plus it keeps it more of a community feel as it should. Mr hilton came over quite well, seemed to make alot of sense to me,give the guy a chance and let’s see what happens, all the conspiracy theories are not going to help anyone,if he doesn’t do what he says he’s going to do,then he deserves some stick, until then us as fans should support him 100 percent. UTI.
Not playing 2 up front when you need a win is mind boggling, obviously afraid of getting thumped, but give it ago at least its cheating the fans otherwise, today was utter dross, like many on here is the manager out of his depth ,at the the moment you would have to say yes.

I’m sorry but we need a win so I will play with 4 midfielders and no width to supply my 2 forwards, what planet is he from, last 10,15 minutes, I know lads put some crosses into the box and we might get something ,which we nearly did ,it’s taken 75 minutes to come to that conclusion, you couldn’t make it up,buck your ideas up jimmy especially at home give it ago at least.uti.

Well done Derby fans, thanks for the support, it’s easy to support the big clubs but only true footy fans know what it’s like at the sharp end.UTI.

Utter shambles, over 50 years supporting the iron, its never been this bad,i feel sorry for these young players, the people running the club have no clue, player investment needed or I’m afraid it will be more of the same,I sincerely hope we get a new owner and quick!

Cox’s recruitment at the beginning of this season was awful, anybody who knows anything about football will tell you that if you don’t score goals, at any level you will struggle our so called forwards, a joke if cox thought that was good enough it is totally beyond me ,from the very first friendlys of the season you could see that at times we were playing not to bad but we hardly ever looked like having a shot never mind scoring, yes we had a pretty poor budget but on this site on more than one occasion fans said we need strength down the spine of the team,in other words good players in vital positions and one of them at least was a proven scorer at this level,it didn’t happen, and that’s why we are where we are ,I believe hill came in and thought this is the worst bunch of players he’d ever seen,he did what he could in January, but unfortunately its not working, let’s give him a chance with is recruitment in the summer before we start calling for him to go. Mr Hill has his work cut out,he will have seen what the fans have seen all season,a promising first half then the team disappear, midfield really good first half, second half completely useless, and surely now he can see that scrimshaw cannot hold the ball up and runs around not really ever affecting a game a luxury player that will not get you anywhere, midfielders that concentrate for 90 odd minutes and another striker that can put defender’s under pressure and two hard working wingers who can put the ball in the box instead of having players who are happy keeping possession as long as they play it BACKWARDS, you win games putting the other team under pressure, concede midfield and 9 out of 10 games you lose, not alot to sort out mr hill, good luck,up the iron.

Nobody is in the least interested in players training really well in training, it’s match day that counts, I’m afraid cox is struggling, and when you put your best midfield player on the left instead of the centre, the only midfielder to tackle and close players down is beyond me,and how wood gets in above pugh and millen above rowe I will never know, times up cox.

Losing 1-0 at half time, surely you think it’s not working particularly well, scrimshaw totally isolated, let’s change to 4 4 2 and have a bit of ago,no let’s go 2-0 down then go 4 4 2,that performance was as bad as anything from last season, absolutely shocking, why didn’t Beeston start ?, why didn’t jarvis? play up front with scrimshaw ,3rd from bottom, bottom 2 ? Next week,I hope not but the writing is on the wall, the fans will stay away in droves unless something improves.

The point I was making about pugh is the fact pugh is not a fullback,we signed millen for that role but should have signed 2 proper rightbacks not just the one,we got Thompson to challenge omalley for the left back role but only one rightback a strange decision in my humble opinion, so if you are going to use players as makeshift fullbacks it’s not fair on them, hornshaw played rightback last season and its not his normal midfield position just like pugh and look what happened to him he’s now at Gainsborough I believe, opposition teams aren’t stupid they see our weakness and play on it.

In the Second half I’m afraid pugh looked like a makeshift fullback,Kenyon was lumbering around having no effect whatsoever, bunn not tracking back enough when he came over to the right and hallam runs around alot, but as a so called striker I can’t remember him having a serious strike at goal, another proper right back is needed, get perry in midfield, a right sided winger who attacks and gets back to defend and the most difficult job of the lot ,find someone to stick the ball in the back of the net.
Not exactly the experience keeper most fans were looking for,but most of the signings have been good so let’s hope he turns out to be a good one as well,up the iron.
Anybody know whether he’s signing or not!
Of course not,I hope we stuff whatever team he’s playing for ,just some applause before the game!

Excellent insight on the season, many of the things karacan said are what many fans have thought,I just hope cox gets the players he wants, and karacan gets his wish to play against us at Glanford park so he can get the applause he deserves!
I don’t believe the club is doing enough to show the fans we are not going to have another season like the last one which was abysmal, where are the rallying calls to encourage us to buy season tickets, the new players to galvanise the fans into thinking things will be better, most other clubs in league 2 are saying and doing the right things,I think this is a very worrying time to be a scunny fan,I hope I’m wrong but it’s not looking good, most seasons you have that optimism, but I’m afraid for alot of fans it’s gone.

Not to have a serious attempt at goal in a derby game is utter rubbish, our so called forward line is a joke, stop eisa and Gilliead and that’s it nothing loft,McAtee and Jarvis do not look like producing the goods on any sort of a regular basis ,no van veen, another striker who can score goals is an absolute necessity,I dread to think what might happen if van veen stays injured.
There are plenty of out of contract decent experienced players out there and I’m afraid if we don’t sign some we are doomed to relegation ,even if that it means to pay some players off to make room and keep inside the budget, it has to be done ,a must goalkeeper, centre half two fullbacks and centre midfielder and a forward who can bully a defence.
The saying MEN against boys has never rung so true, get some experience in there or I think we ate looking at another relegation, give me thrid from bottom now with the way we are playing and I would take it now!
