I wonder how much the match day fee to the Holy Blues will be – and if they’ll demand payment upfront?
See my other post – GTFC won’t be getting anything out of it!
Gainsborough CEO doesn’t seem aware of it on Twitter.
Sherbert Lemon really is having a bad week. Hilton must either be furious or delighted with how he’s performing.
Gainsborough Trinity don’t own the Northolme. It’s owned by the Blues Club, the pub/club attached to the ground. This was one of the reasons it’s believed Spanner Wet left the club because they weren’t prepared to sell up to him.
I can’t see how it can work especially season ticket holders with seats, how do you scan tickets for anywhere and they are still selling tickets and car parking for GP for Buxton and Bishop Stortford
Suppose they could still do that and bus everyone down?
Darryn Stamp to stay on as Assistant. I think they played in the same Scunthorpe team?
When Gainsborough Trinity were NLN and Boston United Northern Premier, guess who BBC Radio Lincolnshire used to go for for commentaries…..
– clue, not the club the league above.
Swann seems to have carried on his ineptness in how he sold the club. Astute businessmen, and he palms a business venture off like he’s selling a chair on ebay.
More like Facebook Marketplace.
Does this tie in with the rumours about a ground share at Gainsborough next season?
This has been denied by both the Gainsborough Chairman and the CEO.

No one’s fooling anyone anymore the club needs money everyone should be able to see that, the players are obviously paid far to much. Swanny did say a few years back we needed 3000 to break even but surely not in the NL.
Lincoln needed 3,000 or so to break even in Conference days which we rarely got until 16-17 and the Cowley’s coming into the club. I’d suggest with inflation since then you’d probably need more than that 3,000.
Gainsborough Blues club own the Martin & Co arena.
Yep and any surplus from their activities is donated to the football club. GTFC only basically pay for use of the floodlights!
There was no points deduction at the end of Donny Rover’s season in 97/8 although it wouldn’t have made a difference, when their fans invaded the pitch at the last game.
As you say bob you haven’t a clue and neither have we, it’s a role the average football supporter is used to playing.
I would also say if you guys still have a fan director on board – use him. Make sure he talks to the fans, remains close to what the fans think and pass that up the chain of command. He should also be the one calling for everyone to be together.

Lincoln kept Steve Tilson despite failing to get just two points in the last 12 games that would have saved us. Some ludicrous decisions, such as refusing to use Joe Anyon in goal and putting in an Aston Villa scholar who shed 5, 6 goals a game and already telling players he didn’t want them weeks before.
You guys need a complete clean sweep over the summer – basically flush away the turds of this year and start the bog afresh, with a decent amount of bleach down it too.

Lincoln fan in peace.
It’s not nice down there. It’s now all about togetherness and there was no togetherness at Lincoln before and for a good few years after our relegation. It’s not an easy road to get out, particularly with S***n still hanging around, but there is still hope.
Glanford Park is the nearest stadium to where I live so although a Lincoln fan I have an ‘affinity’ if you like to local teams (bar Doncaster).
Best of luck.
