I genuinely believe we’d have been no worse off if Nelson had continued with no new signings.
It’s not all down to Jimmy, but the gamble to sign so many players has not paid off.Agreed it hasn’t paid off he gave it a go but it simply hasn’t worked, we could argue a few less players of better quality might have made a difference but again how much quality are you going to attract given our position and at this stage of the season?

It took Oldham about 12 games after their new Manager/raft of signings to start picking up the points to pull away from danger. Similar would see us hit form in time for April’s crucial games!

It would cost a minimum of 15 million as a very conservative estimation for the club to replace the Glanford Park stadium/site elsewhere which is what the true value of it was to the football club.
