I think there are question marks around Hilton, but do you know anything of note or is this just speculation?

I was informed earlier that his Rolls Royce had gone, the number plate was DH11 RON, if you check the DVLA site you’ll find that registration number is no longer assigned to a vehicle.

    No need for panic.
    Hilton will change his mind.
U turn before the weekend, it’s what he does.

No doubt certain lawyers workload will go into overdrive today.
Interesting couple of days to come.

Considering his lack of both interest and ability in the last half dozen games at the end of last season, I’m surprised we’re considering offers for him.
I would pay clubs to take him off our hands.

Swann wants us gone on the 24th of this month according to that statement put out by Hilton. Nice block is Swann, never fails to surprise.

Swann has never said he wants us gone or that he doesn’t want to sell.

    Exactly this.
It’s Hilton who stated Swann wants us out.
Hilton spent most of his time at the forum bad mouthing Swann, it showed his lack of class.

Swann or Hilton, who comes out on top?
Answer is Swann, as both will be gone in the not too distant future!

I have an idea who might be responsible for all that crap on Twitter. Let’s just say that I don’t think it is our current chairman…

What you really mean is, you know absolutely nothing.

Shame he won’t be able to save money by using the architects plans that Mr Swann paid a fortune for. A ‘Championship’ stadium might be a bit ambitious.

Mr Swann paid a fortune for?
I very much doubt he paid for them, the club paid for them!

After sitting through that for over two hours last night.
My first thought, where have I heard all this before?
I’ll tell you where, same place but a different speaker.
Swann, virtually the same promises and we all know how that played out.
Secondly, Hilton spent a vast amount of time slagging Swann off at every opportunity he could muster, after stating at the beginning of his “speech” that he didn’t want the forum being broadcast as Swann would have documentary evidence of him slandering him.
Sorry Hilton but your lack of class shone through.
He was “hoping” that we can get the next 6 months at GP but “hoping” his lawyers could extend that to the end of next season.
Pity he didn’t inform the 1200 that have paid out in cash for season tickets.

As for this “we’ll be in a new stadium in 2 years, where have we heard that before?
    2 years?
You all need to give your gullible heads a wobble if you believe that.
I watched LT very closely, he sat there quietly for most of the evening, I suspect that he isn’t taken in by a less affluent version of Swann.
You are all entitled to form your own opinions and I respect that, me, I’m not impressed with Hilton and unfortunately IMO it’ll not end well for our club.

For anybody interested, there’s space available for the forum tonight, bookable via the club website, I’ve just booked one.

im guessing there will be a few nervous fans today in the build up to tonights gathering , steel toe caps glistening , Dr Martens ox blooded the Fred Perry and union jack braces ironed and ready to go.

This there some way fans not in attendance can listen in ??

Winner of the most pointless and idiotic post of the year, awarded in May.

Certain it can’t possibly be beaten!

Assuming there’ll be no livestream of the fans forum, is anybody going planning to do live tweets of the main points as they happen? Is anyone from BBC Humberside attending? There are many fans regionaly, nationally and internationally who can’t go but have a huge interest.

Some of us knew from the day he drove down the M180 and pulled into Glanford Park in his leased Rolls Royce what was to come.
Despite the obvious signs some gullible supporters handed over £1899 to a man in order to join a club situated in a stadium that the man doesn’t and never will own.
Then followed an even larger amount of supporters clenching fistfuls of £20 notes to buy a season ticket for a club who currently have zero assets and are unlikely to be able to fulfill their fixtures in Scunthorpe next season.
They handed over this cash to the same man who currently owns the name “Scunthorpe United” but nothing else.
The buzz word on Wednesday evening will be “Embargo”.

I predict there’ll be many Scunthorpe United fans walking away from Glanford Park on Wednesday evening shaking their heads in disbelief at what they’ve just witnessed.
