£190 for under 18s is a bargain, not much more than days wage for them no doubt and certainly less than fashionable jumpers they like to wear.£199 for a season here or two games at Arsenal etc?

Under 18’s have gone from £50 to £75, I believe the £190 is for 18/21/students, still it’s quite a big jump in comparison to other age groups!

Crowd announced at just shy of 2000 with 140 odd from Darlo, decent turnout for this type of game at this stage really. Game sounds to have lacked quality but Darlo offered very little till a couple of efforts put wide late on, another worldy from Butterfield apparently, it’s getting a little blaise these days which is unforgivable given his brilliance at this level.

5 goals and 4 assists in Butterfields last nine games according to ironstats on twitter, another stat from them is that is our first cup win since January 2020

Well from the drinking antics of many yesterday Expunged, you’d think it was our last game, lots of Garths regular contributor’s out of it, at least one didn’t make it into the ground, was the pissed lady in control of children it did appear that way. And by no means were they the only ones.

They were on Sambuca from 8am according to Twitter.

it’s not beyong ther imagination is it, I would ask though, why would it be so urgent to move if we have this stay of execution from the courts until the spring? Is it just another knee jerk reaction or have recent revelations altered the court case in any way? Any of us answering on here would be pure speculation

Didn’t both sides have to put forward their arguments/paperwork by the end of September for it to actually go to court?

    yes, a handbrake

So we have about 5 and a half months for someone to come in and buy it for us or he will just sell it to anyone then? I wonder if the trust are speaking with anyone who could fund/part fund it?

it was they who did the leg work and applied for the assett of community value status making it harder for Swann to sell on the open market, hence his trying to sell to and with the club so desperately , had that not been there I ‘d wager it would be on the open market now and maybe already sold ,but hey they onlu collect tins of beans

Doesnt that put a temporary hold on for 6 months to allow the trust or someone else to buy it?

    Confidence breeds confidence.
Let’s go and smash Buxton on Saturday.
We should be aiming for a minimum of three goals a game at this level.
Let’s inject fear in to those that take the battlefield against us!

Absolutely! Someone is going to get a tonking soon and not just 4-0 or 4-1 it’s going to be 7/8 or 9, the amount of chances we had first half last night we could have quite easily been 6 or 7 up at half time, it’s an absolute joy to watch.

We are going down and we need to stick with a manager for more than half a season have we not learned anything from the swann era? How long have the new players had to gel with each other a few weeks? The club needs stability and we can only do that by starting afresh next season with a proper pre season and a clearout of the players who have had a losing mentality over the last few seasons! Chopping and changing the manager has in part got us to this stage along with buying bottom of the barrel players who no one else wanted, stuck with Jimmy and see how we get on in NLN.

Said in an earlier post an interview or statement confirming or denying the rumours and telling us his plans would be helpful. He’s done that and it is helpful. I would also like an interview with someone independent of the club and I have said that previously on another thread. There is nothing unreasonable about that. If you think it is, that’s your prerogative. No need to keep bringing me up on it. Not like I’m demanding it. Get off my back. There’s no obligation to be completely fine with any of this you know.

What I find more interesting, than you coming after me, is how people who were worried about the rumours a few days ago are now on board with the them now they’ve been confirmed. What changed? The way he explained it? If Swann had suggested moving òperations and training to a place 70 miles away there would have been uproar. Hilton does it and suddenly it’s fine, ‘inevitable’ etc. Sorry, it’s happening, nothing I can do about it, but this direction of travel is a concern, to say the least

Instead of/or alongside an independent interview Mr Hilton mentions there will be fans forums coming up, that could be a good time to get all unanswered questions/concerns put to him.

I genuinely believe we’d have been no worse off if Nelson had continued with no new signings.
It’s not all down to Jimmy, but the gamble to sign so many players has not paid off.

Agreed it hasn’t paid off he gave it a go but it simply hasn’t worked, we could argue a few less players of better quality might have made a difference but again how much quality are you going to attract given our position and at this stage of the season?

Like I said Steve, there’s been 51 points to play for (start to finish) since Jimmy took over and unbelievable backing of the new manager so let’s see how the final part of the season plays out.

I’d love him to turn it around, his passion is great!

    However…
We looked to be turning the corner under Nelson with good football being played, I’m not sure I’d say the last 6 games have given the fans the same optimism???

17 games to turn it around IS a realistic chance for a new manager especially backed so brilliantly!

I agree about Nelson he should have given him a couple more games, I don’t agree we had a realistic chance though, yes we had a chance but a very slim one! to bring in 11 players the majority of which haven’t been playing regularly or in a form/promotion chasing team and get them playing to earn promotion form points which is what is needed is pretty much unrealistic.

If he is in charge until the end of the season then, Including the Barnet game, Jimmy has been in charge (PICKING THE TEAM) for 17 games out of 46

Half of 46 is 23, so when I said he’s got just shy of half the seasons fixtures left I wasn’t wrong!!!!

Before he arrived we were top 10 in the form league!!
Nelson had just taken 7 points from 4 games if memory serves me right.
Jimmy has 4 points from 6 played so far.

    If we are being fair…
What has Jimmy had that those before have not??

(1)A budget to bring players in
(2)A chance to work with a competitive squad
(3)A stadium packed with accepting/supportive fans
(4)Little expectancy or pressure – apparently we’re already down… idiots!
    (5)zero outside negative noise!!

So far he’s proving to be the wrong choice and potentially he will have to accept his part in the relegation…. It wasn’t done and dusted before he arrived!!
It was crap!!! Of course it was!!! It was the lowest point in our history.

But he’s been playing with a much better deck of cards than those before him!

17 games provided a maximum return of 51 points… he’s on track for under 10.

I’m sorry, but he’s got to start doing better or you lot need to accept that he’s the problem and needs to go before next season.

We need to accept he’s the problem after 6 games?? 6 games wow really? We outplayed top of the table Wrexham, played the 4th 6th and 7th placed teams beat Dagenham and drew with Maidstone. You expect a complete new team to completely turn around our form in the space of a month? You can hope we would have turned it round we all did but you can’t expect it!! You need to get real because no team is going to turn their season around in February sitting 23rd in the national league with the quality available and willingness of players wanting to come to a team second to bottom!! the majority of this squad probably won’t be here next season, we need a complete overhaul and have for a few years now.
