Tesco paid £14,000,000 for land opposite many years ago. After a 3 way bidding war developed including Asda & Tesco……if that’s true which I believe it is then 3.5 million is a steel, especially for someone with ulterior motive’s

Could be an attractive job for someone who’s clued up. Mid table and you’re a hero. Anything better and you’re the next Pep. Problem is will Swann pay for the right man

I alienated all the customers, refused to employ proper staff. I no longer run the place but I own the building.

Very nearly took the Bluebell inn, Carlton in lindrick a few weeks ago. We have The Royal Oak in Tickhill and had The White Swan in Blyth until a couple of months ago if you know any of them.
Not far from me Mick. I lived in Blyth for 6 years and now in Tickhill

Turkey’s don’t vote for Christmas
Any team in league 2 would gladly go back to the Re-election process like the olden days

How is it still one promoted and one through the play offs???
Ridiculous, should have been changed years ago!!!Also, they continued to only allow 5 subs not taking into consideration how professional this league has become .
Time for change surely?
Not that we would benefit from 2 automatic promotions and one through the play offs OR 7 subs… but common sense says the time for these changes are long over due!
Only matters if you are in that league. League 2 teams will never vote for 3 up 3 down
Just out of interest, Has Mr Swann or his representative communicated in any way what the plan for next season is? They say football is now more business than sport but I can’t think of any other industry that would treat its customers this way. Even Tescos let’s it’s audience know what they are planning.

It’s difficult to read that people are ashamed and embarrassed about their team. You shouldn’t be, it’s not your support that’s failed. When someone in power fails miserably due to a lack of effort then it’s those people who should be embarrassed and ashamed. Be proud of your club, be proud that you raised your voice in anger at what was happening, be proud that you weren’t fooled and told them so even when there was nothing you could do about it. It’s out of your control but you still stood there shoulder to shoulder hoping and praying things would improve unlike the money men who just stood there and did nothing. When they lie and deceive true supporters will alway ask the questions knowing the answer already. Never be ashamed of who you are or where you are. Never be ashamed if you were fooled by one man and his sycophants. You are many, truth will out. These people are so poor all they have is money. Fans have an identity, a bond. They have strength in numbers and a selfish, no Good liar can never take that away. Scunthorpe United, there is a clue in the title of how to beat this.
