Worked hard and comfortable on the ball but not a massive loss if we recruit well in wide areas (wishful thinking)
Not sure I ever believed he was going to Coventry or Ipswich etc…
League 2 is definitely his level and a quick look on the Bradford fans forum shows they are very underwhelmed with his incoming.Eisa much better IMO… gutted he’s gone! He’s a league 1/championship player IMO
This squad is absolutely appalling!!!
I’ve NEVER been so angry, annoyed and frustrated to support SUFC.
I’m disgusted with the demise of the squad… regardless of how poor the individuals were last season the guys who have gone were Collectively the best players we had!!!!!!
we’ve now got a national league squad (at best) with a manager who has NO identity and has shown he CAN NOT set a team up to attack and dominate games in the attacking third!!OUR ONLY HOPE (again!!)
Is that there are 2 worse teams than us and I’m utterly embarrassed to have to say that.
Swindon appear to be in a bit of a mess so that could be interesting and if they self destruct then we are only needing one more team to have a mare to allow us another year in the football league.8 users thanked author for this post.
Absolutely 110% NO!!!!
Bang average… if we are going after a non-league keeper then it should be:
*The winner of the golden gloves
*The England C keeper
*The keeper nominated in the national league team of the yearSam is none of the above and not a first choice football league keeper anymore in my opinion

Loan signings can be great……
we’ve had a few eg, Stevie Mac from rangers, Trotter & Taylor from Bolton, sharp from sheff U, keogh from Leeds, Toney from Newcastle and there’s many more…
Just look at the success Lincoln have had this year with half their first team made up of loan players…
Do it right and it’s a potential succession plan!!
Problem is this current regime fill me with zero confidence in the loan market… where are our links with champ/prem clubs?? We don’t have any!!!
Maybe because we’ve had an U23 team lol 😂Bradford will surely be one of the favourites to go up while we will be odds on to go down so I would say this is a great move for him!!
And then odds are bang on!Bradford City…
Great stadium (old but great for L2)
Great history
Hugh fan baseEisa…
play to his strengths he’s capable of goals galore and many many assists from a wide midfield role
He’s an Absolutely outstanding player when playing at league 2 level in a team that really delivers attacking footballMassive loss!!
SUFC is a shambles3 users thanked author for this post.
Not for me mick… County are a well organised team full of bang average players!
LemonHeigh-Evans on the other hand, the Torquay No7 looks a real handful
Not that he’d sign for us, Cox likes his wingers sat in our own half for the majority of the game so no wing play on offer at SUFC 😡
Maybe Neil is waiting to raid his old club if they don’t get promoted back to the football league… not looking good for them so far 1 vs 0 down to Torquay
Personally I don’t see any players in the Notts county side who I’d be excited to sign and I certainly wouldn’t be going after Slocombe

Absolutely no chance of getting him!!!

I think the most important factor is the 20,000+ Fans watching….
I borderline emotional to hear the Leicester fans roar when Vardy threw his arms up in an attempt to get them singing… this is what football is all about!!

Good question!!!
I think he’s 21 so the contract offer is clearly to entitle us to a fee from his next club and probably not because he’s likely to stay… I can’t see him being here
1 user thanked author for this post.
Or maybe we haven’t got a clue what we are doing???
2 users thanked author for this post.
Did we offer him one?
I didn’t see his name on the offer made but declined list!!

Hallam is an absolute stupid decision unless it’s a pay as you play type offer.
McAtee could be really good if he’s in the right head space and played often enough to get some momentum going without any distractions

Pleased you’ve got faith in the recruitment because I certainly have not!

The squads a reflection of how this clubs been run into the ground in my opinion.
It’s nothing short of disastrous and without 4/5/6 real quality additions were absolutely f**ked next season
I think we all knew who was going/staying but when you look at what’s left in each position it’s frightening how bad it is.

That’s squad is an absolute disgrace!
How many of those names should be playing in the first team in a football league side… I’d say 3 or 4 maximum.
Relegation certainties

*Tactically inept
*Played players who couldn’t give a shit and were always leaving… week after week
*No idea on what attacking football is
*Doesn’t stretch the pitch with wide players
*Awful from set pieces attacking & defendingShould have been sacked ages ago!!!
But I absolutely agree the problem is the owner! We’ve had good managers and they’ve failed because this set up makes it impossible to succeed…
so in a nut shell… fu*k it, stick with cox and in a years time we WILL be national league and renting a ground!!!Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for this SST
Be interesting to see how this ends up the more people know about it and cast their votes
Seems clear so far the ‘clearing of all debts’ isn’t seen as a positive thing!!
Will I return to GP… can’t see it while the current ownership & manager are involved… my love for the team has been absolutely smashed to bits

In my opinion Swann is to blame for where this club currently finds itself
The same shite recruitment and the last couple of years shambolic pre-seasons
I wish he’d never taken over our club!
As for Cox, just a yes man given an unbelievable opportunity considering his CV in football management.
He was never going to challenge or argue against the decisions of the board and that’s why he’s here!!
Shit manager with absolutely no clue what he’s doing other than ‘letting them have it’… that obviously works with players not even watching pre-match videos!!
No respect for him or the fans… worst squad in the history of the club!!
Back to Cox, He has absolutely no idea how to win football matches… even when we’ve won games the majority of the time we’ve been crap!
Time to go Cox!!!!!
But we’d need the new man in within a week so we avoid the same shambles of the past few years.
Even with Cox gone we are still stuck with the current ownership so the chances are nothing will change regardless of who is the manager.
Sad,Sad times!!!3 users thanked author for this post.
How many players are really giving their all for Cox??
If the answer is less than 5 then he can’t get the best out of the team and he needs to go!!
I know the answer!!
2 users thanked author for this post.
No one is fighting for cox!!
His tactics are poor!!
Time for him to go!!!!
It’s obvious

I’d go for Richie Wellens with total control of the first team but it won’t happen!!
I’d even take Laws but again I’d want him to be allowed to spend the budget wherever he wanted… one things for sure we’d have some goals in the team!!
1 user thanked author for this post.
Get Richie Wellens in and allow him the budget to do what he wants with!
Swann junior can do the deals but only with the managers say so!
In my opinion there’s been too many people with no idea making decisions on squads etc.. that’s proven by the current shambles of a football team!
The clubs become a joke!!
2 users thanked author for this post.
The demise of this club overseen by our owner is unbelievable… how on earth has it been allowed to get so bad??
We are all about the youth apparently yet with very little to play for we keep selecting players who won’t sign a contract for next year and will walk away from this club not giving a shit about it rather than blooding the best of the youngsters.
Cox is a shit manager and the majority of this squad should not be anywhere near the football league!
1 user thanked author for this post.
Problem is these players who don’t give a toss or we are pretty certain won’t be here next season keep getting picked to play… I’d rather see the best of the under 23’s for the rest of the season but Cox will keep playing players who have no part to play in the future of this club!
Well said Northumbiron
I think we will survive… just!!
4th bottom I’d guess with Mansfield & Barrow overtaking us
Absolutely disgusting
Myles Hippolyte is dreadful
He’s non-league at the very best
Well the cox interview has left me feeling flat!!
Referencing a couple of big defeats for other teams on Saturday and once again almost trying to justify a defensive approach.I’ll be watching but I can’t help but feel the line up will be to try and contain the opponent again hoping for a point.
I’ve never seen a Scunny team spend so much time (every match) in their own half… I just want to see us box some teams in, I think we’ve got enough good attacking players to be doing better than we are.
Eisa, Gilly, Loft, Jem, KVV, Macca should put the fear of god into an opposing defence but we don’t let them loose
Sadly I’m going for a 2 vs 0 but I really hope I’m wrong!!
