Southyorks iron WTF does that all mean
Sacked by Boston when they were in and around the play offs last season, a victim of his success similar to Graham Alexander I guess.
They now find themselves bottom of the national league north!!
Another example of be careful what you wish for and don’t get ahead of yourself!!!I just wanted to reinforce this message as I firmly believe someone like Craig Elliot is who we need… He is…
Currently available ✅
Great knowledge of non league ✅
Proven track record of positive recruitment at our level ✅
Took Boston from 2nd bottom to a regular play off team in the NLN, narrowly missing out on promotion ✅
Worked with a part time squad outperforming full time squads ✅
Got Boston to the FA cup 2nd round ✅
Took average attendances from 800 a home game to well over 1,000 with over 4,000 at the FA cup match and final match at York street ✅
3 non league promotions on his CV taking Shaw lane up the non league divisions ✅
Links to Doncaster where Boston train ✅
A Young and hungry manager ✅Perfect fit in my opinion…
Just not sure he’d fancy it but we should be going all out to get him in!!2 users thanked author for this post.
It would appear that Todays interview with Keith confirms Lee’s appointment was the latest smoke and mirrors move by PS.
In my opinion he’s no interest in selling and is still in control of the big decisions at GP… So nothing has changed apart from he can now hide in the shadows.
Get yourself gone from this club Peter, where this club has fallen to since you took over is nothing short of disgusting!!4 users thanked author for this post.
Swann needs to go asap!!!
Conference football is embarrassing enough but we’re on course for the national league north as things stand… look what you’ve done Peter!
HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!4 users thanked author for this post.
Why wouldn’t Rochdale want Hill, they are in trouble in league 2 and Hills most recent record in league 2 is….
Oh wait a minute…
Lee.T
Go and agree a deal with Craig Elliot now!!
He’s free and I’m convinced he’d stabilise us in this league!Hill is an absolute mess
Going to stay true to his philosophy even if that means losing 6 vs 0
Get in Hill, what a great manager you are!!
Because we care

Because Hill doesn’t know what he’s doing!!??!!

Hill was allowed to perform absolutely abysmally last season because all of the fans discontent was with the massive WA***R Swann!!
However, with Swann (potentially the winner of worst football league club owner ever!!) in the background having ‘stepped down’ from being chairman
All eyes are on Hill, his recruitment and his playing style. So far Hill is making himself look absolutely incompetent IMO

Your saying absolutely nothing new here!!!
We’ve know all of the above for ages!!

PS
Pack your bags Swann!!
We all hate you and you need to go!!!4 users thanked author for this post.
Takeover needs to happen first!!
New owners who (hopefully) are passionate about SUFC with a bit to invest in the squad , first job is to get rid of Hill (IMO an imposter as a football manager) next job Adkins In backed reasonably well to make us a top 10 team.
If all of that happens then maybe next season we can compete for the titleHill playing Daniel up top/wide is’nt working… he was the only absentee vs Yeovil and not brilliant again today.
We are still desperately short of a squad, the bench looks weak to say the least!
A left sided CB to challenge Taft, a left winger who excites, a CM to add some competition and give us options when injury/suspension kick in and at least one striker.
Not sure about Dewhurst… I hope he’s good enough to be considered a great Gk in iron colours… time will tell
Finally I’m starting to worry that Hill isn’t the solution and is part of the problem but I’ll hold fire on this as I really want him to succeed
There’s usually 2 pod casts a week from them cliff , always a good listen
Don’t usually reply to my own post but they also have Yeovil bottom 4!!
Could make Saturday interesting and possibly a false Dawn should we start well
As it stands between 15th and 20th
I hope Rodwell isn’t part of any consortium, it’s always appeared to me that he has an awful habit of turning up at clubs who’s fortunes then take a turn for the worse or a period of turmoil coincidentally occurs.
On the striker situation, I hope wondergoals is right and strikers are announced at the same time as the takeover is completed, that would be great timing and would surely get the match day numbers up

Brilliant game of football with 2 contrasting styles.
The crowed got behind the ladies and the lionesses delivered.
Watched it with my 14 year old daughter who absolutely loved it!!
if lots of younger girls and boys are watching and enjoying the womens game that has to be a good thing4 users thanked author for this post.
PS
Last season our average attendance was 4th bottom of league 2 yet we finish bottom of the league… even though we had YOU!! THE SAVIOUR of SUFC in charge Peter. And Sutton United had an average attendance just 200 more fans per home game than us yet they went to Wembley in the PJ Trophy and finished inside the top 10 in league 2.
Doesn’t add up to me
I Don’t believe him!!
I Don’t believe a single word he says!! Stop interviewing this man until the clubs sold and he has his parting words to share!
Disgusting how many times he had to get in ‘I’m not wanted here’
There’s a reason for that you ………………… fill in the blanks yourself!!4 users thanked author for this post.
Good statement, to the point and positive as well as open and transparent.
He’s clearly making a difference
Add Butterfield, a winger and two decent strikers and I’ll be pretty pleased…. Maybe even a little excited
Gainsborough trinity have signed Clayton Donaldson top scorer for York city last season… what a signing that is for their level… well done Bish!!
Meanwhile we’ve got one striker who might or might not score at national league level next season… crazy!!
Like usual, you need to be wrong wondergoals because if hill is wanting to sign bunny as a forward we are absolutely f***ed
We are desperate for good forward players and we’ve signed none!!
Season just a couple of weeks away… hello to shite attendances (sub 2000) and there’s one man to blame!!!
F**k Off Peter Swann!!!1 user thanked author for this post.
Totally disagree Renee
Why are you obsessing about how many he scores… he’s a CM who likes a battle and a tackle.
Good solid pro for the level we are at, would possibly have got a league 2 club had it not been for his injury.
Let’s hope he stays fit and shows you his quality

Really pleased with the whitehouse signing
Another 5/6 like that and we could be on for a decent season
How do you know that Staines??
There’s realistically 6/7/8 clubs now in the national league bigger (on paper) with bigger fan bases etc… than a lot of clubs in league 2 so what would the football league lose??
The people who run the national league are a joke!
Planning of the Tuesday night fixtures could have been much better.
And……
How is it still one promoted and one through the play offs???
Ridiculous, should have been changed years ago!!!Also, they continued to only allow 5 subs not taking into consideration how professional this league has become .
Time for change surely?
Not that we would benefit from 2 automatic promotions and one through the play offs OR 7 subs… but common sense says the time for these changes are long over due!
Looks like Hill wants to stock pile left backs
