Cox Said foster was to blame for his positioning after the first goal and said it’s been obvious for weeks!
At the end of the match a tweet comes in from a fan criticising foster and Cox claims he wasn’t at fault for the first goal… hasn’t got a clue!!!3 changes made and Butterfield not on the pitch…. I’m sorry but That’s a disgrace!!!

Needed changes at half time
So far I am far from
Impressed, absolute shambles of a performance!!I do know it’ll take time but this isn’t great in front of a bumper crowd

Poor so far
The better football of the past couple of weeks is gone, Wilson can’t get into the game and we lack creativity.
If the line up and play stays the same in the 2nd half then we are looking at something from a set piece/long ball or a mistake for us to get a goal back
I’ve enjoyed the last couple of performances but tonight isn’t good at all (so far)

The local consortium are out, well done Peter you absolutely *!#¥
Still appears Swann wants as much money as possible
Be interesting to know what cropped up during the due diligence process that scuppered the deal at the time… 95% confident of a deal is very confident.
He was really good today

Why would you give money when the owner is still Swann??
Get him gone and I’ll happily throw £100 in, but while he’s still here that money could make it easier for him to stay longer term so I just can’t see this helping!
If it’s a crowd fund to give the consortium an extra million pound then let’s get it going!!

The realistic lower value of SUFC has been created by one man… sell up and F**k off Peter!!!
You’ve destroyed this football club and it’s time you accept responsibility and walk away!!1 user thanked author for this post.
Thanks for the info SST
I guess the problem is Swann wants what he sees as a fair amount for the club
The issue he needs to get his massive head around is we are heading into a semi professional league, the ground is run down and needs investment, the team is amateur and will take significant investment and the income is getting lower with every week that passes!
It’s not an attractive proposition for anyone who isn’t going into it because they have a connection to the club

Boston have released an experienced left back who was contracted to the club and their fans are furious…. What a stupid decision this looks to send Harry into an environment where he’s now going to be under massive pressure to hit the ground running in a position he’s not naturally suited to (left back – better at left wing)
Why not leave him at trinity doing great work and helping him improve under no pressure… I hope it works out at Boston but this just looks foolish from the outside looking inMy favourite bit of the interview…
‘The fee is somewhere between £1 and £1,000,000’ 🤣😂🤣
Brilliant!! I couldn’t stop laughing… not!!
Followed by… ‘this club has sold strikers before for business reasons’
Yes Lee but selling Sharp for 2million pound and bringing in beckford as his replacement while in league 1 pushing for promotion to the championship isn’t really the same as selling the only person who’s scoring goals (for next to nothing) when your bottom of the national league is it???1 user thanked author for this post.
Turnbull needs to go!!
Another person formally held in high regard who’s destroying his legacy by coming back into Peters car crash of a situation!!!
Tonight’s interview was pathetic! In terms of the takeover… This is Swanns last chance to walk away with a shred of dignity but I fear he will absolutely blow it… the man’s track record is shambolic!!!!

Do we go 4-5-1 and pack the midfield??
Two natural wingers (needed) and then a solid CM to partner Beestin, Apter will be gone so allow Butterflied free license in a number 10 role off the striker, he’s already shown his quality in front of goal and is a bit wasted in the current 5-3-2 formation being asked to sit deeper in a midfield that’s totally overwhelmed and over-ran week in week out.
Just a thought

At least 11 needed by my reckoning!
I’d let Feeney go along with a few others.4 vs 0 Yeovil
It’ll take time for the masses to return.
Firstly the takeover isn’t fully complete yet and not many people trust Swann to do the right thing so it’s understandable a few are not ready to fully commit.
Secondly the damage done to this club runs so so deep!! Simon and Ian have a mountain to climb… the team today looked amateur, we have very little in the way of quality!
We are desperately in need of better players.
The 12:30 kick off time wasn’t ideal I agree.
Finally, I think some fans need to take a look in the mirror and ask themselves if screaming and shouting at the players is helping.. personally I think these so called fans are part of the problem! The players are short on confidence and while I agree they are playing badly they’ve all we’ve got right now so get behind them or stay at home and shout at the radio instead.New owners and an exciting new era would initially (without doubt) bring regular attendances between 3,500 – 4,000 (without giving tickets away)
and I would expect plenty of matches 5,000+ Fans if the new owners backed the team with some new exciting players and we went on a real run towards the play offs1 user thanked author for this post.
Absolute joke the extended contract he was given… sums this club up under Swann
2 users thanked author for this post.
Everything is fine then!!
Ignore my post, clearly we’re on for a good league table finish based on your prognosis
I’m crossing everything it gets done 🤞
I’m not suggesting we are more important than any other club but I firmly believe this club deserves a chance to go again!!!
We deserve saving from Peter Swann!!!We have shown in the past we can average 6,000+ Attendance And have held our own in the second tier (for one season) so surely there’s something worth believing in for a potential investor!!
Please please save this unbelievable club

Apologies Barton… January to May when he’ll potentially be at a football league club.
And you saying he’s a step ahead of his peers isn’t a great indictment because non of this lot could play football league so the bar is pretty low
I feel for him, at the end of his interview you can tell he’s desperate to make things better… the problem is he’s not going to.
Peter Swann is the only person who can sort this by F**King OFF!!!3 users thanked author for this post.
Definitely not good enough for us in our current situation.
He’s clearly well thought of and has potential but we can’t afford to have a rookie keeper in our current plight… he should be at a side who always finish mid table where his mistakes and learning can be absorbed without potential dire consequence.
It was a massive mistake that we didn’t sign an experienced older keeper in the summer… surely there were (still are) out of contract better options available.
And we still need a quality CB4 users thanked author for this post.
I think the tennis balls (if done on mass) and the Swann out banners were needed when Swann was actually at some home games… right now the only people affected are the players, it’s an absolute waste of time.
Flares onto the pitch and into crowds of players is totally unacceptable and should result in life time bans.
Any demonstration needs to be aimed at Swann personally and have press/wider involvement eg A coffin carried to stadium with media coverage shaming Swann for what he’s done to SUFC.
What I’m saying in a nutshell is the protest today didn’t make any impact on Swann
Any future protest needs to bring the message to the outside/wider community who swann really is and what he’s done to this football club!
And it shouldn’t happen during the 90 minutes on a match day!
Our players need support NOT distraction.4 users thanked author for this post.
Were you there Alcazar because if you were I’d be surprised by your comments!
Today was the best 90 minute performance for as long as I can remember2 users thanked author for this post.
Really enjoyed today!!!
We played all the football and York looked very average for the majority of the game.
The front 3 were fantastic and on another day they would have all been on the score sheet.
There were 11 men of the match today, no weak links.
Credit to Daws for great game management.
My only issue was with the officials, I thought the ref was a shocker.5 users thanked author for this post.
Only Adkins can save us and why would he come back??
We need you Nige!!!!
