Appreciate that but a reply to questions on an open forum keeps all the fans informed, which I would have thought is a key part of the role!

Neil I think you provided a statement on Twitter which is great except for the fact your Twitter account is private! I have a few questions:
1) What offer will the club have on for the last game of the season? Free entry? £1, £2, £5 or £10 entry? Surely not full price.
2) Why do stewards still persist in constantly walking across the DRE staring at fans? Watch fans if necessary but don’t keep marching across the stand ffs.
3) Any news on a takeover? Has Peter Swann accepted any bids yet?
A pot of Nutella would arguably do more.

Part of the group with Ian Sharp..?
Looks like a deal on something exciting gets closed Monday. Fingers crossed. pic.twitter.com/CfXYdeIcwc

I know people are suggesting 72 minutes seems quite late, which I’d slightly agree with but actually it will work well if a lot of fans take part.
The players should be ‘attacking the DRE’ (ha) in the 2nd half, so it should be quite noticeable when it happens.
Ideally it needs a good turnout, a loud crowd for 72 minutes and then a mass exit.

Even if you ignore the handcuffs debacle, the attitude of stewards has been unacceptable for weeks.
As soon as they decided they should stand in amongst the fans in the DRE stand I knew there would be trouble.
It’s even got as petty as them threatening to chuck people out for having half a foot on the yellow painted steps, something that everyone has been doing for 25+ years with no issues.

A mass walk out in the 72nd minute to symbolise our 72 years in the football league coming to an end. Then gather outside the Telegraph stand at the director’s entrance.
That’s if anyone can last 72 minutes watching this rubbish.

But at the away end they are under different rules, but fair play to Harrogate fans they seemed well behaved but you can’t say that about some away fans this season.
Mansfield fans in a couple of weeks will be all over our pitch when they score (probably more than once).

If alarm bells weren’t ringing before, they are now.
How long will Neil Wright last?

They march up the stand, rile up the fans and then chuck them out.
I have no respect for them at all.

Assume it’s Keith’s choice?
Would have thought Manny would be perfect for us in the National League.

Where did you hear they’d signed ?
According to twitter Kenyon, Davis and Millen are all on their way out. I can understand why we signed that young lad from Wolves now, who I may add looks better but still can’t pass
Davis potentially the worst captain we’ve ever had.
I think the transfer window opens on 4th January. The timing of the rumour would suggest to me that Loft’s agent is trying to spread word that he’s available for a low price. We only deal in undisclosed fees so it can’t have come from within the club itself.
I’ve always thought someone like Donny might have a punt on him. They’re struggling for goals and worst case is they get relegated but know Loft can be decent in League 2.
For me, he’s too inconsistent and is either a 5/10 or 8/10 rating. When he’s a 5 you can spot it within the first 10 minutes of the game from his body language, frustrating. Otherwise, yes he’s got some talent & potential.

Disappointing but on paper it was a very tough game. It might work in our favour that we go to the Carlisle game still on a high from yesterday because another 3 points would be huge.

From what I can see it’s only his 2nd yellow of the season, I was shocked too!
Just hope the confidence grows & we go to Stevenage with belief we can win. Under Cox I don’t think the players ever had any consideration that they could win an away game.
Pugh would have been a great player for todays game, shame he was suspended.
Beestin brings out the best in a lot of the attacking players, the 2 full backs were involved a lot more too. Promising.

I liked the interview from the manager but wish Mike White had asked him about his subs.
Millen on in midfield ahead of Beestin & Pugh was baffling.

Yep, if the Coventry lad didn’t get injured in game 1, Rory wouldn’t be with us now.. he was on his way.
He’s finally proven he’s a number 1 GK, fair play to him.
Bit of a weird post.
Didn’t he just say something along the lines of they’re coaching him everyday to improve & cut out mistakes?
Cox said the same after the game.
Is he out of contract in the summer? Does anyone know who else is? Ideally we need to be offering some players a new contract now. I don’t know if they’re all out of contract but these need a 2 year deal:
Watson
Pugh
Thompson
Loft
Beestin

But Barton, if you’re concerned about ‘how long the football club can continue with gate numbers like 2112’ then surely you would turn up regardless of the entertainment value? I’m sure you’ve supported SUFC for a number of years but arguably the club needs you now more than ever.
And for what it’s worth, yesterday was pretty entertaining, even the last 20 minutes we defended hard but still had chances. It made the full time celebrations even better.

Maybe you should turn up to games.

Pugh is turning into a real dynamo.
I’m not silly enough to put our terrible form this season down to 1 player – but surely it’s no coincidence that we weren’t even getting close to other teams whilst he wasn’t playing.
Constantly in the opposition’s face, closing them down, putting tackles in & will only get better with the ball at his feet. Can we give him a 4 year contract please?
Everyone else was at least a 7 today, Millen had his best game to date.

Just got home – very annoyed with the manager.
He spent most of the game sat down whilst McMahon did all the shouting.
Loft had a shocker tonight. Missing the penalty must have got to him but why he played the full 90 I’ll never know. Especially when Cox said after the game he wasn’t feel well!
20% possession and camped in our own penalty area at 1-0, we was never going to hold on. To then hear him say they went for a point! A point on the road is only good when you win your home games.
I fear that he’ll employ the same tactics the next time we’re lucky enough to go 1-0 up too.

Better performance – first one I’ve clapped in a while. Coincides with Pugh in the team and Millen out of it, I think.
Didn’t look like a penalty to me, interested to see the replay.
Their keeper made some good saves.
Forest Green players reffed the game, least someone did as the man who was supposed to, was useless. If you noticed, they would cause a ruckus every time a decision went against them or when a Scunny player put in a tough tackle.

It is overdue and he should have been saying it on the podcast but he’s clearly listened in those meetings and the shock of reality has woken him up.
I will take him up on the offer of season ticket holder meetings too.
I just hope the players & manager react like Swann has this week.
