Is the hull game off?
Knew Trev for many years, was a true gentleman and avid iron supporter,RIP Trev mate.
Don’t think they will be playing any friendlies at glanford park.
You missed a really good option off there ferrite.
Don’t worry ironawe, I think things will become more transparent after the weekend, and no I don’t have a link for that.

Just wondering, I can’t think Swann would be so stupid to sell the club to Hilton for £3 without putting in a proviso that it’s only legit if the ground , car park and training ground are paid for by may 24th, Mmmmm.
So what will happen to all the 1899 shares now? Will fans get their money back???

TBF Rene, certain people have come on here and made claims regarding the new owner not having the financial ability to complete the purchase of GP and surrounding land on May 24th, all others have said is that without proof their claims mean nothing. They say one thing and others disagree but conjecture has never been helpful when trying to have an honest debate based on facts, that’s all most sensible minded individuals want don’t they?
Some thoughts:
1) Individuals who are able to purchase and finance loss making football clubs need to be extremely wealthy and have liquid funds on tap. Such individuals generally have a clear history of how their wealth has been obtained. These high net worth individuals buy assets which generate them a return, they are not reliant on third party funders, they use their own money because they are the bank!
2) In Hilton’s interview which was released on the club’s website on 02/04/23, he made the claim that he has put £3M into Ilkeston. I have looked at their balance sheet and there is no significant change to their fixed assets or net worth under his stewardship to show where the £3M has been invested.
3) Hilton claims to have told the National League that he will not be funding the club with loans.
4) If you look at the last set of accounts filed for Hilton’s business (Maxwell Cohen Ltd), assets total the best part of £2M including a bank balance of £2,023 and liabilities total the best part of £2.5M, the majority of which is long term debt relating to secured loans provided by Stoneygate 2007 Ltd & Westfoot Investments Ltd. Now if Hilton has sufficient personal wealth to purchase the freehold and finance the football club, I would have expected Hilton to have personally financed his own business by providing director’s loans and for his business to pay him interest on those loans. Why pay a third party funder if you can pay yourself?
5) If the Swann family are keen to do a deal on the stadium, naming rights and surrounding land and there are no restrictive covenants, I estimate Hilton needs somewhere between £3.5M and £5M to get the deal done and to see the club through the next 12 months. Remembering point 3, where is the money coming from?
I just don’t get it.
Great article, I too think the shit is going to hit the fan shortly, haven’t got a link for that yet AA ,

Maybe ironawe might have a link to the payment!
The reason this thread has not been taken down is because it’s fact, therefore not libellous, and in my opinion should have been left on this site for everyone to see!!!
Has the chairman gone AWOL???
Ironinsider, dead right, could be some big news in the next few days, and, Ironawe, I don’t have a link for that!
No he won’t be there, and wonder if his personal number plate will be up for sale, this could be quite a big weekend, UTI.

Well it appears the man with the roller is apparently allegedly actively trying to recruit partners with substantial financial clout, I wonder why?

Interested bystander, keep up the good work, very interesting reading, seems to me to be a little more than coincidental.

Interested bystander, have you any other links for the David Anderson information, won’t work for me, this is very interesting, thank you.
Item may be back in stock may 25th, other than that the club is fekked I’m afraid!!

Depressed again now, just seen the date of the posting!!
Haven’t heard the bbc clip yet but after reading all these comments this is the most optimistic I have been for over a month.
It’s not crap, not been paid since around December 22nd, and before you ask that is from someone who has need to know.
Better get used to it, next season you will be watching loan players and other teams academy players that can’t get in a team, I will not be paying my money to watch that shite.

Well at least he admitted to using another name, white, but did he use 2 other names too, mellors and Anderson? I wonder why someone would need to do this? Don’t seem right to me, maybe another question to ask him.
🍷
Wages just been paid.
Wondergoals, why are we apparently looking for a new training ground, the existyone is great, is it to build commercial premises on? How you get people to subscribe to a new share issue when allegedly the land belongs to someone else, what about existing shareholders, no mention of them,is there any proof anywhere the new chairman now actually owns all the land, I’m not so sure unless the new chairman would like to make a up to date statement on affairs currently, a bit of transparency goes a long way.
Every time I press a key I have to agree to the privacy policy, it’s now becoming a pain in the arse!
Siderite, but can you be sure he has gone? Have we got proof he’s gone? No, I’m not so sure either, only time will tell or a comment from the chairman?

It will be snowed off!!
Why is the club not being possibly honest with the fans???
Sorry, wrong buddy.
