Not sure why anyone would buy us out.

What is there left to buy?

I’m not talking about the past, I’m talking about what will give Hill the best chance to put together a competive squad going forward.

It’s too late. At the latest he should of been backed at the start of January. Barring that Cox should of never started the season.

I’ve supported the Iron at OSG and GP.

I’m a stay away a moron or whatever they’d like to call us.

One thing is for sure with the rudderless direction we’ve been going the last few or too many seasons I’ve made the right decision and our wallet is looking all the better for it.
Plus I’ve not wasted 5 hours of my Saturday afternoon watching no better football than I’d see at a semi pro outfit.

I’ve logged onto I-follow a time or too for a jolly good laugh. Because that’s all it’s been.

The talk by Charlie Wilson is a centre back and 2 strikers, with one being impressive if it comes off.

Which one is the impressive signing?

Or didn’t it come off LOL

    Dream on WG
Can’t be further from the truth, we’ve aged journeymen come in so far not the young and hungry beckfords et Al. These guys will steady the ship that’s all. Can’t be any worse lost 6 on the bounce.

The Albatross is circling and your flapping like a wounded one.

Can’t beat a bag of scraps!!

Oh you can unfortunately nobody wants to come to Scunny anymore.

We used to be the enviable team that could propel a stagnant career.
    Long gone are those days.

I remember being in Fox street end, Obviously no away supporter’s, anyway had a brand new pair of mitre trainers on.
Ran across the pitch at full time only for someone to stand on my undone lace which more or less ripped the trainer off my foot.
My Old man wasn’t best pleased when i met up with him on the DRE.

Always thought Steve Baines was Magnum PI’s brother. Stupid twat LOL

Alan Boxall. Wasn’t it him that one hell of a throw? Guess it may of only been the only attribute LOL

John Bramhall Whooosh yes that’s when it seemed to be exciting going to a match. Sums it up if that’s as exciting as it’s getting at the moment when the crowd are thrilled by an aimless punt up the field.

Suppose a cheer when a goal goes in are hard to come bye so anything is worthy of a noise.

My favorite time was when we beat Leeds in the FA cup. Mike Lester he was great that night.

Dull boring football has been on the menu for far too long now.

GP used to have a decent atmosphere when the corner was in full chant, those days are long gone as everyone spends more time on there mobiles than watching the match. But understandable!!

For sure I’d now rather go watch a local outfit. Think it’s more in it to watch one of our local semi Pro teams.

BA!! Never watch the A-Team. I’m sure he stated something along those lines.

    Will you be there Roaming?

No bollox to that UTI99 got far better things to do now. We’ve been driven away by poor offerings on and off the pitch.

As BA stated ‘I ain’t no fool’

Used to love football, completely fallen out with it but definitely helped on the way this last few seasons. Friends have stopped going so don’t even get a catch up.
3 of us have stopped. One was going in the 60’s. Myself started late 70’s.
Only so much crap you can put up with.

Most teams from the national league north would outnumber us. I’d say fill it with Oldham the club is on the bones of its arse.

    Let’s pack out GP.

That’s hilarious nobody is interested anymore. I’m still awaiting the better match day experience before we bother rocking up again.
Supposedly we are getting that soon arent we?
The ground refurb must be taking decent shape too.

Still going down just will prolong the the drop date with the additions. Surely a sweepstake for guess the date?

Like you say when we have taft and co. on the pitch there’s no chance.

4-5 players of what ilk to get us out of this dog doo.
Put 1/2 of Man City’s squad would struggle to pull the inevitable away.

    The Goose is cooked.

Some accolade to have though to be the 1st in how many years?

    Feeney??

Needs someone with an older head. And someone preferably that is league standard.
Taft decision to tackle in the penalty box like that was sackable.

    Just don’t go IK.

3 of our family haven’t been this season.
Not wasting our money on a lost cause.

If you were served up a crap meal week in week out at your favourite restaurant would you still continue to go?

Life has moved on and we have been helped by the poor menu and servings at GP.
    It’s not the fans fault.

Do we think KH will stick or twist???

Surely with his decent reputation he wouldn’t want relegation on his CV even though it was nailed on when he signed.

Wonder what promises he been given.

Guess all will come apparent soon enough

I’m dedicated to stay away with another two of our family. And one has been going since the 60’s. Me since 78.

Well done well done I say!!!

It’s saved me a fortune. Well done Covid I can blame it too.

Like a canoe with a handbrake!!

Lovely day for a walk though.

Some accolade to have though bet Jeff is laughing his socks.

    1st game watched this season.
Wow how dog turd are we and won’t bother for the rest of the season if that’s what’s on the menu.

Defence is truly shocking. Seen more pace in a striking snail than that back four put together.

As for the rest of them bar from Hippo crikey they’d struggle to get in Brigg towns squad. Basics of passing a ball would be a starters.

Poor Hilly he’s got his work cut out with this poor bunch.
He needs freedom of Scunny if he can re attach the rudder let alone an oar to row us to safety.

Oh well few hundred quid saved again this season.

Father been going since the 60’s. He went to see his town team play in far lower leagues than the iron the other week. Think he enjoyed it.
At the weekend he decided to paint his fence. He said it was more fun.
Think there’s only so much shite you can watch and put up with.

Me also been going since he took me mid 70’s. No enthusiasm anymore and it’s a waste of an afternoon.
The whole experience has gone down the drain over the last 5 years or so.
I have better things to do now.

Crap football, poor managers, run down stadium, and numerous projects that never take off.
It’s going to be a long way back to recovering a couple of hundred let alone thousand supporters.

I’m sure there’s many more like us.

    When’s the survey coming out??

    And what’s everyone’s response?

The whole experience is absolutely dire and at the lowest place from as long as I can remember.
Supported the club since the 70’s but can’t be arsed to go anymore as there’s better things to do in life than spend 5 hours on Saturday watching dire football. Can see that for a fraction of the price at Brigg town.

I doubt I’ll return. All that building the club into a enviable club by many is a distant dream.
There’s nothing to look forward to as a Iron fan.
And one wonders why the fans are lost. Easier to lose than to get back.

My father has been going since the 60’s he’s had enough and not sure whether he will bother. Another father and son won’t bother neither.
Plus me just don’t see anything to tempt me to waste an afternoon or the money.
I never had a season ticket but went to as many games as possible.

Can see the first home gate being the lowest in decades.

I’m glad SS has signed a deal elsewhere he wasn’t great at all. Rather see Howard stay if that’s what we are looking at.
