Bloody hell Riverman don’t spit your dummy out over a bit of banter, we still get pelters on your forum most days, chill out man.
Nothing wrong with good old banter and you guys have been on the wrong end of it for some time now and probably more hardened to it than some of us. The thought of us sinking into a relegation battle with the possibility of dropping out of the league again is too much to contemplate. Hurst has been very successful for us over the last couple of years but was taking us further down the league with no signs of halting the slide even though he recruited well during the close season something was wrong somewhere.
I think the title to this thread is probably a bit unfair guys, especially when the chairman and supporters of GY contributed towards the fundraising effort a few weeks ago.
I’m a Mariners fan and have seen over the last few years how much you have had to endure, it gives me no pleasure in seeing staff not getting paid due to incompetence from your former owners so making a donation to your fundraiser was the least I could do. UTM

Never quite worked out how we need circa 5,000 fans to put a team together to challenge at the top.
Our average gate this season has been 3,777.
If you add together the attendances of 4 of the top 7 (Spennymoor, Blyth, Chorley and Brackley) it is still 200 less than our total.
FFS Brackley probably the best football team we have played this year survive on crowds under 600.
Must be some very wealthy sugar daddies around at this level.
Or other teams paying players realistic wages.

Ask him when he pops up on here.
Think I just saw him come past my front door on a pushbike !!

If the position were beyond repair and you were a director – would you not ALL have already jumped ship if something were radically wrong?
Are we to believe that they are all too stoopid not to have given a thorough examination to any and all of DH’s plans? Surely too, they must inevitably have added their own two penn’orth to the rescue project.
With Mr Waters as the only one to have departed – apparently at DH’s behest – I am encouraged. On a different tack, one thought had crossed my mind was that DH certainly seemed to have the money to have bought the ground last January. Professional people with reputations to protect confirmed the fact.
After claiming to have spent a seven figure sum in the last nine months – which sounds realistic – and with new debts seemingly appearing with great regularity, it has crossed my mind, though, that he might just be a tad stretched at the moment.Overall, the statement is encouraging.
Me clasping at straws again? – Hopefully, something a bit more substantial.Keith Waters who is involved with the PGA Golf as a Director was the only one ot the Directors who had any experience regarding the running of professional sporting operations, that tells its own story.

Is this Jason Herbert guy real or just a sh#t stirring idiot, he seems to be creating nothing but division and hatred between fans who have genuine concerns for SUFC and seems to have the approval of Dave Hilton?

Either DH Has Put Loadsa Money Into The Iron or He Has Not. #272987The ‘one step away’ was prevented by a journalist discovering the history of that convicted fraudster before he could get into the club, unfortunately for Scunny David Hilton had done a deal with Swann before anyone could question it although i don’t think it would have made any difference at the time as the general feeling was ‘anyone is better than Swann.
Dave said recently they hoped to get the first spade in the soil in early spring, September is a bit early yet.
the Judge will also have to consider how much Hilton has paid in Tax owed during Swanns final weeks, players and staff wages from before he took over SNOT, plus any other missing details, also why Swann put the ground and land in his name in the first place, we just want it sorting out as quick as possible.
Scunthorpe United Football Club and Glanford Park are two different identities, David Hilton bought SUFC from Peter Swann, the ground is owned by Coolsilk and at the present time SUFC are trespassing on GP and Coolsilk are trying to get SUFC evicted. It’s as simple as that (allegedly)

I think everyone should be praying that the Messiah David can work a miracle!!
Which club would you choose if you were him ?
Why does the ownership of a non league football club have to be so complicated, all we want is to watch a game of football in a stadium owned by the football club !!

Fishy forum member here, obviously as local rivals we have been watching your progress with amusement as I’m sure you did with ours a couple of seasons ago and enjoyed seeing your descent to the bottom of the league and your impending relegation to NLN, whilst many on our forum wanted to close the Scunthorpe United post which had around 240,000 views as a mark of respect for your demise others wanted to keep it open to follow the progress of the David Hilton show which is more entertaining than our standard of football at the moment,if you’re relegation wasn’t bad enough Dynamic Dave changes his mind every day on which direction he wants to take the club. Good luck guys and hope we meet some day in the Football League.
