Through Turnbull, the Board should issue a directive to Buttler to play 4-4-2
The squad is threadbare of quality & quantity and 4-4-2 is simpler & better suited to the personnel.
This directive should be announced to the supporters.
Failure to implement the Board’s directive should result in…What I saw today.
A team that set up 3-3-4 away from home, very impressive. Seamlessly they moved to 4 or 5 across the back when required. Exploited the channels well and targeted our sole midfielder to win possession from the off and use the ball to attack from all angles by simply running at us. Plus their abundance of strikers closed us down straight away.
A great team to watch and another lesson for our manager they have won 9 drawn 1 and lost 7, their boss has worked it out quite well that draws are no good.
By contrast the frailties that have dogged us all season and become more prevalent since October are getting worse. The system is wrong we are deficient in midfield with massive holes either side of Clunan. Denton and Barrows look lost and create nothing, the back three look all at sea, totally uncomfortable and make the basic of errors.
We have become shot shy, Whitehall, Carlton, Fishburn, Clunan, Beestin and Roberts until the 94th minute offered very little to zilch in respects of a goal threat.
2-1 down at home and our players main priority is to get back into the 5-3-2 formation to defend, so much so we did not until late even press their keeper when he was 5-6 yards out of his box.
I see a side who are frightened to go forward, the players stiff and rigid, a mindset of defence.
Out of the last 5 games we have lost 3 of them by a 3-2 scoreline, the fans are disgruntled and openly booed the manager and his poor substitutions today.
Another big worry in injury time when we stated to actually play and attack and were on the ascendancy our own momentum was broken by Kelly needlessly flattening a Buxton player.
This allowed Buxton to calm down, stop flapping and gather themselves together. The resulting free kick a nonentity and the ascendancy lost. Well done Kelly.
Poor tactics, poor discipline, no creativity, no football and more importantly no entertainment.
You have lost me Messer’s Butler and Schofield, worse I think the dressing room too.
The only difference between Jimmy’s team and this one is that they can run for 90 minutes instead of 70.
Great post.

That was when we had the steel fence up, I reckon it was York, though I may be mistaken. Good times back then
Played with him and flopper at NFU.
NFU?
He told me Boston want Russ as manager, he had seen it on Facebook about our fans wanting Howe, but nothing has been mentioned at the club of any approach about Howe, but Howe is happy at Trinity and sometimes it is a gamble for a 26 year old to go full time if he has a good job which aged said he doesn’t know what Declan does, so has no idea if we will make an offer for him
Was talking to a Trinity director this morning, and told me they have made £100k plus up to now even if they lose to Harrogate, now they will get TV money on top
What sort of transfer value are they attaching to Declan Howe? Any idea?
Their game at Harrogate is live on bbc2 on Friday 29th November
Awesome!

Celebrations after the final whistle against Hednesford.
Fantastic strike!
17th of the season. If we go part time how are we going to attract players to take that left or right turn for the M180 especially to come and train twice a week, or are we just going for local lads.
Whatever you think of Hilton it was a good idea of his to move the training to the Midlands and his reasons behind it then only travel here for match days, then we could go part time.Perhaps do a reverse MK Dons and move to London. Huge catchment area for players. Fans would only have to travel once a fortnight. Sorted. Doh!
No insinuation towards last night.
We are a full time ‘Pro’ outfit, he doesn’t work for FITC.
Maybe he’s anxious that we will be PT next season and that he’ll need the income? Our betting friends – odds on a playoff place?
We’re still 2/1 favs to be champions.
I can’t (quickly) see any top 7 finish markets.A good evening for the basement boys!

Whitehall is frustrating at times, but at the moment he’s imperative. I bet there’s a player out there though that’s just as effective who won’t want as much money, but it’s just finding him.
Declan Howe @ Trinity.
