I’m going to go with the 1-1
They’ve drawn 7 of their 18 away games, scoring 17 goals and conceding the same. They are away at Warrington on Saturday.
So that should be 11 defeats on the spin.
Then, they host us.The Bishop’s of Stortford have lost 9 games on the bounce. They’ve scored 8 times in those games but conceded 26 times.
They face Spennymoor at home tonight.
Will it be ten defeats on the trot?BS 0-1 Spennymoor
Lost ten on the bounce.
Nah!
Steve Smith (age 66) is as safe as houses.
He’s also a director and has a 70% shareholding in the club.1 user thanked author for this post.
5,500 home fans plus 1,000 Chester fans required then.
We’ve only topped 5,000 twice this season:
5,063 v Brackley
5.227 v TamworthWe’ve struggled to tip 3,500 in the last 3 games.
Predicted Att: 4,671
10 games since they last tasted defeat.
5 draws and 4 wins since.
The highest scoring team against the team with the second lowest number of goals conceded.
It looks as if it’s going to be another tight one?
When WHAM said “I’m your man” and that he would “Make it big”, there were numerous “Careless Whispers” that he was one of the “Bad Boys”.
Michelle bought our “Freedom” and said that SUFC is “Everything she wants” and that she’ll take us to “The edge of heaven”
She’s brought a “Ray of sunshine” back in to our lives.UTI.
Please do the rest of the top ten Rene on their chances of winning 3 on the bounce I can’t be arsed and you like that kind of thing.

7 otb = 1I said it a few weeks ago; Alfreton are my dark horse to win the play offs.
Fifth place down to twelfth place split by a mere 4 points.
It looks as if the fifth, sixth and seventh places will be decided on the last day of the season.
A cesspit of a league where anyone can beat anyone else.
Followed by a win at Hereford making it a sequence of 4. To be a winning sequence of 3 the following game would have to be a draw or defeat bringing the sequence to an end – it wasn’t. Rene’s explanation was quite clear.
You’re right he was quite clear, he stated that we had not won three games on the bounce, I’ve proven that we have!
You’re as daft as he is.It’s OK, the rest of us understand.
Nursey will be round with SNOT’s mid-day meds pretty soon.
@ SNOT – however you want to look at it, we haven’t won two on the spin since last year.
Winning Sequences.
We’ve won the following number of games on the bounce:
2 wins = 4 times
3 wins = none
4 wins = onceSurely if we’ve won 4 on the bounce once then we must have won three on the bounce at least once!
The sequence is ended by a defeat or a draw.
4 times we’ve won 2 games – then the third game was a non winning game. End of sequence.
Once we won 4 games – the fifth game wasn’t a win. End of sequence.
Maybe he was on a hallucinogenic drink / drug cocktail?
Promtion: highly unlikely.
Take the Farsley double header Christmas / new year festival mash up out of the equation – and the last time we won two games back to back is December 2nd! Three months ago!
He’ll survive to the end of season regardless.
New contract – NO CHANCE!
Winning Sequences.
We’ve won the following number of games on the bounce:
2 wins = 4 times
3 wins = none
4 wins = onceIf we were to drop down to fourth place or below, then we’d have to win 3 games on the spin to win the play offs – 1/4s, semi & final.
You might say that it only takes a minute to win it or every dog has its day etc
But we ain’t being consistent or good enough to better a league of part timers on tuppeny ha’ppeny budgets.Maybe he was on a hallucinogenic drink / drug cocktail?

Going, going… nowhere?
1-1 is the shortest priced score-cast at 11/2
1-2… 12/1
0-2… 22/1
1-3… 33/1a?) player power – the players want Jimbob out?
b?) the board don’t want promotion in order to stabilise financially and on the pitch?
c?) Jimbob didn’t have back surgery, he was abducted by Tamworth supporting aliens, ‘reprogrammed’ and was then returned to earth on a self destruct mission?

We took a wrong turn!
Beyond ‘a little edgy’ – I’m now rather anxious!
Are the players our current worst enemy?
Are they ‘on strike?’

Personally, I hope we don’t finish as runners up or third.
I think those teams that play in the Playoff Semi-Finals have an advantage and are ‘in the zone’Play offs will be an absolute lottery!
Here’s how one site sees the final table looking:

Risking being titled a part again here… hey ho.
It saddens me deeply that we’re turning out the performances and results that we are.
If it’s ’player power’ – will they be able to flick the switch and return to winning ways if Jimbob is shown the door?
Is today what may become known as car crash Thursday?
Reds 1-3 Iron
Away end can accommodate up to 1,200
Att: 1,650
I went with a 3-1 win to us back then.
It ended up 2-2.3 clean sheets and 3 wins on the bounce for them.
I’m sadly (very sadly) going to go:
Iron 0-2 Alfreton
Odds on January 24th
Tamworth 5/6
Iron 6/4Odds on 20th February:
Tamworth… 1/5
Scunthorpe… 5/1Chorley… 200/1
Chester… 200/183.3% probability that Tamworth take the title.
Weds 21st Feb:
Tamworth… 1/5
Scunthorpe… 7/1
Chorley… 66/1
Chester… 200/1
Alfreton… 200/1The lower down the pyramid you go, the lesser the tactical ability and technical understanding of the players.
We ain’t got the calibre of player to emulate how Real, Barca & Citi play.Having a CEO in our ‘glory days’ on £5k a week was an absolute joke!
But it sounds like he’s lost the dressing room. The players seem not to respect him (and that is the players fault as well). It’s a difficult one because a long term stay in this division will provide stability but the club as we know it will be a shadow of its former self. I really struggle to stay engaged in the quality of football, officials, pitches, grounds etc I go to every home game even though I have to travel, and watch on NLTV and I can’t believe what I watch half the time. It’s not entertainment, and if this is what sustainability looks like then who is going to be in it for the long term? Maybe 1,000-1,500 hardcore of fans
I can see attendances in NLN next season:
Midweek: 1,500 to 1,800
Saturday: 2,250 to 2,500Do we really need four stands open for such low numbers?
It might save a few bob?

Thing is with Elliot as we all know isn’t a lone striker, we’ve been saying this for nearly 2 seasons. Why not stick Mcalinden up there with him as a link player ?
Whitehall I fear has had it.
You couldn’t even call our attempted ‘strikes’ in the direction of the away goal ‘shots on target’ last night!
It’s absolutely abysmal that a club that have had many, many great strikers in the past can’t even make the goalkeeper work these days!
Hars is a good call.
Would he want to drop down to this level though and work with (no disrespect here) limited (ability) players? -
