    S&G were correct – “it’s a funny old game”

You can purchase an ad-hoc €5 ticket to watch the equivalent of an English League Two game in Spain this coming Sunday.
A team in the play-off positions against the eighth placed team in a 30,000 capacity stadium that was a World Cup venue in the past.
There will be about 8,000 to 10,000 fans there.
Your €5 (£4.27) ticket is for a half-way line seat in the main stand with unobstructed views of the pitch.
Match day (hard copy) programs are free.
Great atmosphere at these games btw.

    They look terrible!
If we ‘try’ we could clobber them five or six to nil.
    Keeper is vertically challenged.
Slam the corners and free kicks in, hurl the long throw in.
Do we have 2 big lads who… forgot it’s Jimbob-ball.
Have a look at the super soft goal their keeper lets in – they thought the lad was offside.
Their midfield may as well sit in the stands, spectators.

    How about a FWHST?

A Fair Weather Half Season Ticket for those whom don’t like the cold, dark, wet winter Saturday afternoons.
First 7 home games of season
    Plus
Last 7 home games of season.
Do a bit of ‘dizzy’ (discount) to make it VFM.

    Sort of?
    Next season maybe?

If we don’t achieve promotion will we go part-time next season?

    Hybrid?

In Mon, Weds & Fri when no Tuesday night game.
In Mon, Thurs & Fri when there’s a Tuesday night game.

Should help reduce costs and we’d be ‘semi-professional’?

Catholic Puritans?..let me explain the difference.

    It wasn’t a statement.
The question was – are there any catholics playing for them?
    Technically, you’d think not.
Then again, how many of the squad will be atheists or agnostics.

Wow Rene proper memory lane stuff and it certainly dates me as I remember us having a Magic Robot game back in my childhood. I’m guessing cass, Mick, les and a few more are remembering the game too, not forgetting Awaywego of course.

    Golden years!

Fin will be enjoying it, he is getting a run of games which develops young players. Not start stop that Tom Pugh keeps experiencing !

I’ve said it since the day he was appointed – that he’s not for me.
    Nothing has changed.
I wish him no ill nor bad luck.
I wish him well in the remaining games of this season.
Hopefully we’ll have a new man or woman at the helm next season.
