He’s got to go.
He hasn’t got the knowledge, the ability, the motivational skills, the aura, the communication skills, the dynamism and adaptability needed to succeed at this level and above.
No disrespect to the young man but he and his ‘tactic’ are too one dimensional.Attendances will tumble next season if he’s at the wheel!
Massive financial cost!1 user thanked author for this post.

“A true story based on events that took place at Glanford Park in 2023-24”Are you sure all this bit is true?
The WHAM segment could be debated lol
I see Ilkeston finished mid-table (11th)
Crozza would be a great appointment.
Jimbob out Monday.
Crosby in Tuesday.
Players – yays or nays told Wednesday.
Thursday – start planning for next season.Attendance was 8036 with 1455 from Boston – a new record for the National League North.
Paradoxically – being beaten in your own stadium in front of over 8,000 fans by a bunch of part-timers with a compact 24 man squad and a fraction of the budget is a ‘success’?
We should differentiate between the football and the ownership/administration of the club.
Football = Failure
Ownership = SuccessIt would appear that we don’t have the ‘moolah’ to buy our way out of this division and then out of the NL.
We don’t have an academy, so won’t be developing any of our own players.
We don’t have a reserve team or an U23s or an U19s/U18s – no development paths or succession plans.
So what will we be next season?
A nursery club for lower level EFL teams to send their untried youngsters to experience men’s football, get game time, to make mistakes, learn and develop?
The ‘quality’ of player that we are able to attract will diminish adding further to the challenge of constructing a cohesive competitive squad.
I’ve noted that player retention / turnover is very low & high at this level and we will possibly see more of that at our club in the coming seasons.
We probably all need to adjust our hopes & expectations.
We don’t have the tools in the toolbox to make it back to the EFL.However – we do still have and own our own football club… which is a great success!

Definitely out of contract come the end of the season.
Clear his desk Monday, say goodbye to the players & staff then away by lunchtime.
Hopefully! So they’ve won the quarters and semi’s without needing to score a goal. Do you think they will win the final the same way ?
Probably.
Does the final now take place at their ground?Yesterday has to be the new lowest low?
Real life can be crueler than fiction.
Scunthorpe 0-0 Boston (aet)
Boston win on penalties.Closing credits read…
“A true story based on events that took place at Glanford Park in 2023-24”Worst day in our history?
Yesterday’s semi-final play off game has to be a contender!
It’s not all bad at least we play Boston on the Saturday now.
Always a silver lining.
The tatoe pickers picked the golden spud yesterday and progress to the for mash get smash(ed) final.
I can’t quite get my head around the fact we couldn’t beat the spud pickers in 3 games this season.
But then…
Last 10 games v Boston

Do the honourable.
If not, let’s have a club statement Monday morning confirming his departure. He had the chance to be a hero yesterday, yet the chump confirmed he’s a zero!
We all know where he’s gone wrong all season.
Substitute S for E.
HMS (How Many Seasons) in the CPL (CessPit League)
What If?
We aren’t promoted this season?“A much reduced budget”
Lower your expectations. If we couldn’t do it with a hyper budget, then what chance have we got next season?
Will we?
its all gone pear shaped so No..
more so will loose in the play offs as well , its all gone pear shaped.
We’ve underperformed for a large part of the season.
Next season will be even more difficult.
We could be shipwrecked here for a number of years!Pass me a mogadon.
Wake me up if we ever get back to the EFL!0-0 (90 mins plus injury time)
1-0 (extra time)
Att: 7,500Jimbob… entertain us!
Hero if you win.
Chump if you lose. Will we be bored today?
The bookies think not. 0-0 is a massive 9/1.
Iron 1-0 Boston 11/2
Iron 1-1 Boston 11/2
are the two lowest priced correct scorecast.Well, the first two play off games failed to produce a single goal.
Gripping stuff!
