2 minutes over the extra 4 minutes.

    Shit Ref!

Lad should have been given a yellow not a red card.

    Oh well.

Would a love a cup run.
Reaching the 3rd round of the fa cup was a regular occurrence during the Wharton era raising valuable income.
Since our cup record has been awful.
A cup run would be another great step in restoring the finances and will be interesting to see how we go against teams above us.

Going forward, it looks as if QR4 is going to be a good cup run for us?

R1 is our new Wembley-esque final.

Teams above us? We can’t handle those below us.

    Required:
    Oven-ready midfield boss.

Physically tough, mentally strong, forward thinking, game smart.

    Required:
Oven-ready fox in the box striker.

    Instinctive finisher, smart positionally.

    Any suggestions?

    4-4-2.
    Square pegs in square holes.
    Round pegs in round holes.
Stop the pointless running the clock down / breaking play up late in the game substitutions that can actually work against you.
Don’t make substitutions that aren’t necessary – i.e. throwing players on just so as they pick up their appearance money and they remain your ‘mate’.
Keep it simple – pass the ball to a player wearing the same colour shirt as yourself.
    Run, battle, give your all.

The weekend wasn’t a total disaster – ‘my’ Hercules winning by a solitary goals scored in the last minute of normal time.
    I love Spanish football.

I stopped listening to post match chit chat from the ‘managers’ a good while ago.
They are all scared stiff of losing and all trot out the same turgid, lame, tired excuses. They are all as dull as dishwater and as predictable as gravity.

How did the universe come into existence from nothing?
How can you get life from non-life?
I understand science will eventually find the answer.

The multiverse is but one clump of mud on Captain Zorg’s storm-trooper boots.

Nb – in one of my posts I mentioned millions of years when I obviously meant billions of years.

Nah, at least two of OP stats are wrong.

DNA resonates at 40 not 42 GHz

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25584811/

Galactic orbits? The estimate is 20-22 not 42.

The Sun is expected to become a red giant in about 5 billion years. Since one galactic year (the time it takes for the Sun to orbit the Milky Way) is roughly 225 to 250 million years, the Sun will complete about 20 to 22 galactic years before it transforms into a red giant.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galactic_year

But 42 makes a good answer to any question about Brexit!

Brexit? Were you for or against? I have no idea but I’m guessing remain?

Estimates vary between 4 and 8 million before it becomes a RD. However our galaxy and Andromeda are set to start to collide in about 4 to 4 1/2 million years – I’m guessing the two galaxies will merge and be reconfigured as a ‘super galaxy’?

Apparently the final ‘merging’ will occur in 9 billion years time?

So,Rene, the football solution is go ‘for’ four two.

    Exactly & absolutely!

Unless you wanted to go direct and really shake things up

4-2-4 … two big, strong, mobile lads in the middle, two mid-wing-forwards who drop when out of possession.

    Attack, attack, attack!

I’d rather lose trying to win than win trying not to lose!
