If SST told us all that he would no longer be trusted with the info he is given. All i know is most of the intel that comes from SST tends to be somewhere near the truth so am grateful he puts it in the public domain.

Wish daws would admit he has no idea what he is doing. Formations and positioning of players makes no sense whatsoever. Our defenders are awful so we play with 5 of them, none of dawses decisions ever make any sense whatsoever
Lee hodges has seen us play for half a game and has pretty much nailed all our problems and yet our manager does nothing about it

In a normally run club the youth team coach who has barely brought a single decent player through in the entire decade or so he has been here wouldn’t be put in the first team management role, he would have been binned a long time go. As soon as the new owners come in they need to get rid of every single person involved in the football aspect of the club.

Nuttall is improving every game but i can’t help but feel that if he had passed to Apter in the first half and not been greedy we would have won today as that would have put us 4-1 up

I have to agree, his positioning for all the goals meant he had no chance of saving them. I wouldnt mind but they should have been routine saves the two in the second half looked to me like they nearer the middle of the goal then the corner

Alcazar, didn’t you stop going to games ages ago?
Am only asking as your comment seems a bit ironic that you want a club that brings lots of fans, yet you don’t even go yourself!

Cliff did you hear that from Swanny, as nobody at the club has any idea who Swann was talking to in the first place. I and from what i have read lots of others on here believe it was a completely made up story and there never was any bid to accept in the first place.
If its a true story then why doesn’t swanny come out and name and shame them for wasting his time. Unfortunately he can’t do that as it was a figment of his imagination in the first place!

You got my hopes up then so i looked at his twitter account and it says he is seeking to speak to the board today. Doesn’t say anything about a meeting going to take place.

Wondergoals does have a point though, he was proper vocal (on the podcasts) before he became a director.

I don’t know a single person who voted for anyone. My honest opinion is, with SUFC IN its current regime, its a completely pointless role anyway, and whoever is willing to do it at this moment in time is only in it for themselves as anyone wanting to make a real change would know its impossible while Swann is in charge.

Seems to enjoy his role, liaising with the directors of other clubs and standing in the executive area stairwell all match. The feeling of importance must feel great!!

After his interview today, it sounds like turnbull has no authority whatsoever so swanny is still in charge. I know we all knew that but its out in the open and not just an obvious assupmtion

According to bbc we have no sub keeper and only 4 subs. I thought Hill Billy would have loved the opportunity to put a young trainee goalkeeper on the bench.
Wonder if this will be our latest way to lose a game. Probably play really well dewhurst get injured and we lose because we have our centre back boyce in goal

Mick its exactly that we keep finding new ways to lose and the next one seems to always feel worse than the last one.
Teams are giving us a chance, solihull 3-0 lead, Bromley player sent off for a stupid stamp but because we have no game plan at all we can’t capitalise on it. Keith seems to have been here for ages and i still have no idea what style of football we are trying to play. Like alot of other fans am almost at the point of walking away from scunthorpe united as all They do at the moment is make me feel depressed every time the full time whistle is blown.

Maybe time for Hill to go now. He said before the game these are his players and they have the same problems as the players he had last year. They can’t defend, we are lucky its not 4-0.

Does anyone actually have any facts as to whether the take over is happening or not as it seems people are spreading rumours on here without having any actual proof. I too am hoping it would hurry up and happen but none of us know what is going on so until something official comes out to say its not happening am going to assume it still is.

I like Lee but why can’t he just answer questions without waffling how much it hurt to get relegated. I have heard him repeat that many times now and then he then moves onto the ‘we need fans to come back’. I have bought my ticket but if anyone asked me why i probably couldn’t tell as Lee and the rest of them have done absolutely nothing to encourage any fan to buy a season ticket!
The problem with the club at the moment is there is nobody there that will give the fans an honest answer about anything and the only real answers any fans want to know is how much is Mr Swann wanting to sell the club and is there anyone willing to pay it. If there isnt then he needs to drop his price and get gone.

Just a thought if Mr Swann sold the club and all the assets for the same price he paid for it from Mr Wharton then maybe he would have more chance of selling it. Unfortunately he wants to get back a very large portion of the money HE wasted, while most of the fans were under the illusion that it was his money he was spending. Its clear now that he was actually spending the value of the ground and the land so SUFC is left with absolutely nothing.

Wondergoals for clarity i agree with everything you have said. I just think alot of the comments on here are aimed at one another and not about the football club itself.
