To not win this in regulation is quite frankly, ridiculous.

Aye. The red card doomed them. What was with the Tamworth players trying to block Fitzsimons view? I think that might seal it. Automatic promotion is not likely now. That was a big game and the lads looked lethargic for some of it. UTI

Let’s go lads. Iron looking lethargic to start. Lads get it together and pull out a big win 1-0

No doubt the lads will be rusty too. They’ve missed 2 games now and haven’t played a proper game since Brackley, and haven’t won a game since December 30th. 2 games in a row cancelled. Lots of training is fine, but they need real matches to keep up form.

I’d say hardest league to get promoted out of. Lots of very deserving teams miss their shot. Only one automatic means you have to be such a good team, that I think you’re right. The jump in skill from NL to L2 isn’t as big as going to say, L1 to the Championship, the league with former Premier league clubs in it.

What about fans that can’t make a game for some reason. Wouldn’t it be better to give those fans access to the game? Isn’t it better to keep fans engaged with the team no matter what? The easier a team is to follow, the easier it is for new fans to find and watch them. But I do understand teams need ticket sales. There’s got to be a better way than a total blackout though. Needs some middle ground. It’s 2024, people are used to watching what they want, whenever they want. It shouldn’t be easier and cheaper for fans to stream the Prem than it is the lower leagues.

Is the transfer embargo still on next year, unless the debts are cleared? If so, that combined with a lower wage bill will most likely result in a similar fate for us if we go up. I think there is 10 expiring contracts this season, one of which is Butterfield.

Is Whitehall back for Tamworth? Or does he have one more to go?

Yeah exactly. It’s 2024. And according to NLTV, I could watch every NL game because I’m international, but for some reason, NLN and S games are restricted by the 3pm broadcast rule? I don’t get it. Tamworth is a pretty big game for me because a win really helps get them to a league I’ll actually be able to watch them next year.

Here’s hoping. Games like these set the tone for the rest of the season. Shame I won’t be able to watch as I live +- 5000miles away and can’t just stroll down to Glanford Park, and yet UEFA still thinks I should be blacked out of the game. UTI

It’s bloody terrible isn’t it? I’m not even on the same continent as the team, and I still can’t stream it. The league sure does work hard to make sure there is limited to no access to the teams to watch. I’ll have to catch the highlights later on.

It looked like a completely different team in the 2nd half. I felt they had a good hold on the game up to that point.

My bad. Figured Podcast talk wasn’t really football talk.
