he appears to be one of most safety first, conservative managers we’ve had.

One win in four doesn’t look too “safe” to me!

Would an evening game make more sense in terms of getting people to sign up to ifollow?

    I’d prefer it.

    4-4-1-1?

IRON: Watson, Bedeau, Gilliead, Loft, Hippolyte, Spence, Vincent, Cordner, Hornshaw, Taylor, O’Malley.

IRON SUBS: Kelsey, Onariase, Eisa, Green, Jarvis, Beestin, Dünnwald-Turan.

So no place for Colclough and McAtee in the squad.

    I too have a problem.

Due to being up at Kielder last Friday/Saturday with no service on my phone I was unable to place my predictions, thereby missing out on the 60pts I was bound to have got!

If there’s clubs interested in Colclough and Eisa get them sold and buy a leader, preferably in CMF, and maybe a keeper of some experience, because as good as Watson was on Saturday knowing our luck he’s bound to get injured or suspended.

Liverpool won the PL because Klopp stuck with Mane, Firmino & Salah when all three were fit. I can’t see Ancelotti moving away from James, Calvert-Lewin & Richarlison after the start they’ve had.

Play your best players in their best position in a system they’re comfortable with.

The only conclusion I can come to is that Cox doesn’t yet know his best players or has been forced by injury (some may say because of an imbalanced squad) to play a system that they’re not comfortable with.

I’m also wondering if there will still be movement in and out before the window closes.

he’s parried the ball into the middle of the penalty area.

Judging by Chelsea’s equaliser yesterday that’s something Sam Johnstone learned at GP.

Agree with Sanfran about effort. That’s one area that has improved from last year.

so what is the news on Colclough because there has been no mention of injury as far as I know, and McAtee was isolating and not injured so should have been soon up to speed, and why isn’t Eisa starting.

I asked this when I saw the lineup last week at Crawley.

    Are all three “For Sale”?

I think by deduction we had worked out that Beestin must have the infected player, yet he features today and McAtee doesn’t. Strange!

“The Premier League and English Football League summer transfer window is open from 27 July until 5 October, subject to Fifa approval.

The window, delayed because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, is also set to include a domestic-only period for transfers between Premier League and English Football League clubs from 5-16 October”.

Macclesfield folded with debts of £500,000. Gareth Bale is reputedly on £600,000 a week.

But why should we be surprised that the mega-rich don’t help out the poor? After all, it happens outside the world of professional sport too.

Branson, Murdoch, Martin et al squirrel they wealth away offshore and pay little or no UK tax.

All those who bought a Sky Sports package are now finding out exactly what they paid for!

You also have to remember most of the new faces were “committee” signings made before he arrived.

Saturday’s powder-puff forward line were his however.

    Or were they?
