Shit!
Zero chance if they were playing on our village rec!
I’m guessing that if you’ve bought a pass it’ll be good for the rearrangement?
Winnable, but when did we last win four on the bounce?
Yeah, really enjoyed it.
Remember his debut vs Bournemouth. We hadn’t won a game after getting promoted. I think Richie Humphreys scored our first. Guy came on and nailed it.
Used to have a video of that game at Burnley, but when VHS went the way of the dinosaurs I lost it. Would love to see the goals from that game again. And Perez’s heroics!

Careful Mick, that sounds like nepotism!
Maybe Swann thought he was getting Eddie Howe as our next manager, seeing as Cox is off to Wimbledon for a bit of inbreeding!
Strange signing indeed. Wonder who the agent is?
Ardley, Downes, and Hodges last 3 Wimbledon managers, add Cox and yes I would say nepotism or inbreeding.
You do know that “inbreeding” requires sexual intercourse don’t you?
If you don’t you really need to look stuff up before posting it.
If you do you must have some weird ideas of what goes on at Wimbledon!
Says the bloke who brought up inbreeding in a football related post!
Just imagine AWG saying it in A Southern (US) drawl!
Who said anything about luck?
The team was woeful in those games (and others) so we deserved Jack Shit.
Loft on his own is a grazing donkey. Loft supported by another striker is effective. A defence with Cordner and Bedeau in the centre leaked goals. A defence with Manny plus Taft/McGahey can keep three clean sheets in a row.
A midfield with Karacan in it gives Eisa and Gilliead more freedom to attack.
Cox tan take credit for this, but it shouldn’t have taken 20+ games to figure it out.

We’ve bought a bit of time to ensure that the likes of McGahey, KvV and Fela are not risked.
A week ago we were willing Kev to be fit to face the Cods. What a difference the last seven days has made.
Sure does ‘tash.
Those extra 12 pts would have put us top of the league!
I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say those four games defined the first half of the season.
I will say this quietly as I will get shot down! but it appears mr Swann has finally let the manager get on with his job and things appear to be moving forward.
Personally I don’t think it was a case of Cox not being able to get on with his job, more the problem he had as a rookie manager trying to do something with the lucky-bag of players Swann gave him.
Some weren’t good enough to compete at this level. Others thought they were too good. Then there were stalwarts carrying long term injuries.
It’s taken several months and a couple of key signings to make us a competitive team. Too long IMO.
But, yes. A great week.

11 points off Grimsby is my favourite stat!

Speaking of big Guy.
Podcast with Ipoua was most enjoyable. Well done Bru!

He’s got the use of five subs and it’s possible to rotate Beestin/Spence/Karacan and Eisa/Green/Hippolyte.
If he manages his team properly it’s do-able.

Zero goals in eighteen starts this season.
Not sure about that!
If you want to be ridiculous we are only 12 points off automatic promotion.
That’ll be the twelve points we gifted to Stevenage, Southend, Barrow and the Cods!

Cox has been manager for over 25 matches now, but does let appear to learn a bloody thing.
The last two games would suggest otherwise.
John McAttee is 21 and he’s retired!

But perhaps his new club will play a square peg in a square hole.
Nah! Not having that.
He was played in the correct position here. Just not good enough IMO.
Time is on his side though so I hope the lad develops the way Charlie Goode has.
Good luck to him. Wasn’t the right player at the right time for us.
At 37 I hope we don’t go giving him a 2yr contract!
Lofty will rough him up!
BTW The week ahead is also the last full week of the transfer window.
Just saying like!

We beat PV at their gaff and they’ve just had another home spanking by Walsall who we also beat.
In theory it should be another three points for us.
But…..!
Too true!
Let’s not forget those liverless Cods beat us at their place, as did Barrow, Stevenage and Southend.
If we’d flipped those results, which we could have done with a bit of application, we’d be sat comfortably.

Aye, heading practice Monday! Didn’t Manny put one over when he should have scored?
Loft out-Hansoned, Hanson today. To be fair that’s not difficult, any lamppost could do it, but what a difference having someone around him.
Let’s hope this isn’t a one off like the Harrogate result, though I’d expect Port Vale & Colchester to be sterner tests than the crap on show today.
We’d be in the playoffs if we hadn’t gifted points to teams worse than us!
