I think we’re OK for space Sanfran.

The FA come out of this particularly badly. Sold out their member football clubs for a £33m bribe from the entitled few.
Cost of a back up midfielder.
The greedy bar stewards from the self proclaimed best league in the world put two fingers up once again to the rest of football.
Best in the world but not so good in Europe.

Fitz makes about the same number of mistakes a season that Rory made each game.
I was not suggesting season ticket holders get different prices. Far from it. Like most season ticket holders I suspect I am delighted the club has the opportunity to make as much as possible.
It is usual with the Iron and any other professional club that season ticket holders are given a period to buy a ticket for their normal seat or standing area. Any seats or spaces not claimed can then go on general sale. This ensures the most popular seats and areas are filled and crowd/revenue is maximised. Surely that is as much in the interests of the away club and the National League.

It would help the club greatly to have a couple more days to sell tickets.
They would then be able to give season ticket holders a couple of days to claim their place before a longer window for general sale. The DRE will sell out but the club are going to have to leave the full allocation of season ticket holders separate from those they can sell.
They are not going to sell out all seats but given they have to leave almost 2,000 seats available for an away team that may only bring 2 or 3 hundred then they could sell the majority of “home” seats. Again without time for the season ticket holder window means seat with a good view will have to be left empty while folks buy Cluggy Stand tickets with a poor view.
Not the end of the world but it makes things inconvenient for the club and fans for no good reason. We know already the date time and venue for the fixture. The away team will get allocated nearly 2,000 seats that none of the contenders will sell out whichever of them makes it. What is the problem National League?
I would hope the club are taking catering back in house so that they can deliver a quality product whilst making the club a profit.
This would surely have been the sensible decision however good, bad or indifferent the outsourced catering had proved to be.
Just because idiot one could never deliver an edible burger or make a profit in his 10 years and idiot two gave it away does not mean it cannot be run properly and profitably.
Of course the guy needs to be derided and sent packing by the self righteous.
Having the audacity to introduce queues at the catering points after 10 years without any.

Have always thought Kelly looks OK but not sure he has shown he is better than Denton. Pretty sure I read somewhere that Kelly has made 6 starts and we have lost 5 of them.
If true then not surprising that Denton gets the nod.
Difficult to judge against such ineffectual opposition but I thought Corbett was comfortably our best attacking player in the first half. Sublime first touch and covers the ground defensively too. Best foil for Whitehall and Roberts since Smith sadly departed.
Shocking “tackle” on Denton. Late high and probably a red card.
Not sure why Corbett was sent out second half heavily strapped with the game so obviously won. Looked a poor decision even before the further hamstring tweak.

Did you spend the whole of the previous 5 seasons in Spain Rene?
After the previous 5 seasons of sh1te and seeing off 2 toxic owners a small party might be in order.
If we could actually win the playoffs then the party could be upgraded to a medium.
Does Jimmy get forgiven if we win the playoffs?
Bit of a fan of Barrows and wouldn’t mind seeing him stay next season.
It’s always helpful to have at least one of your full backs 6ft and decent in the air particularly at National League levels where set pieces are so important.
I think Kelly is the only full back contracted for next season.

Add Butterfield and Roberts to that list.

Wednesday against Banbury.
Surely we will be emergency loaning a new keeper?
Have noticed despite the overall lower quality of football in this league (compared to what we have been accustomed to) I have been impressed with the quality of goalkeeping.
How on earth did we perservere with Watson for so long with so many quality part time keepers about?
I’m hoping he can finish on a 6 game winning run.

Given we kind of have to win 5 games in a row and we are struggling to score or indeed create many real chances then we have to take Iron Stats latest data into account.
Too late to change formation from the one we’ve used in every game except Chester away.
Fitz
Ogle
Kouogan
Evans
Denton
Shrimpton
Butterfield
Scales
Roberts
Whitehall
ElliottSubs
Sembie-Ferris
Beestin
Boyce
Pugh
Kelly/sub keeper for actual playoff match(es).Tactics – don’t care if they score, we’ll score more.
Time for the big pants Jimmy.
Working fine for Wrexham.
Just seen an absolute cracker from Iron Stats on Twitter.
We have not won a game in April for 6 years.
Bodes well for our play off chances.

Probably best to get there first. The way things are heading ticketing will be down to other clubs.
Only if we get any home play off matches which is by no means certain.
They had obviously done their homework on us and knew how little a threat we pose from corners. They didn’t do it last week against Tamworth.
There are probably 2 key advantages a full time club should hold over part time opposition. First they should be fitter and second their ability at set pieces should be much higher.
It speaks volumes of our coaching set up that after the first 6 weeks of the season we have never looked fitter than any of our part time opposition. We also have looked the poorest team in the league at creating chances from corners and wide free kicks.
Not so great at defending them either.

Brilliant performance from Tamworth. New to the level, dodgiest plastic pitch in the league and only about 1,000 regular home fans. Oh and sold their best player in January and still walked the championship before the end of March.

Agree Apollo. Was about 4 yards away. Both players had eyes on the ball and there where no raised arms or elbows from either player. The referee clearly had an agenda to book Whitehall and reached for his card immediately. He did then hesitate with the card until the players received treatment. Could and should have consulted his linesman who was 2 yards away from the incident with a much better view but didn’t even acknowledge the lino let alone speak to him.
Possibly the abuse he received after that incident set him against the team in general for the remainder of the game. If he didn’t have an agenda then one assumes he will be apologising for disallowing the goal once he has seen the replay and the video of the Spennymoor goalkeeper laughing at him.

I think it’s up to referees at this level to decide how much their linesmen contribute. Ref never consulted the linesman (right hand side as we attacked) in the whole of the first half. Linesman flagged for ball out of play and offside but never signalled once for a foul. This was despite him being 2 yards from Whitehall when rhe booking incident occurred – which was not a foul by either player by the way.
The first time in over 60 years of playing and watching football I have been convinced a referee had an agenda rather than just been incompetent.
Good to see the Spennymoor goalie and interviewer having a good laugh about it.
Rain most of today in Spennymoor.
Maybe a pitch inspection a bit earlier than 19:00 this time?
Pep and Jurgen would be bleating if it happened to them.

Surprised we have agreed a new date that means 4 games in 9 days.
