I would say more a target man like Torps, if they take pressure off the other forwards so they score and win headers in the opposition box he could be useful especially from the bench.
Probably injured, I only heard him mention Jarvis, probably knocks.
Jarvis tweaked his hamstring in training and it was a bit tight so wasn’t risked today but is expected to train on Monday.
He said today he didn’t want anyone out at the moment until he has had the chance to look at everybody.
and twice hanging on to an equaliser for less than 2 minutes.
bonus, Rory kept a clean sheet in the first half, but we had a young side out in the second.seeing we only had 3 defenders first half where are they all.
RON SECOND-HALF: Collins, Eisa, Green, Hallam, Spence, Beestin, Pugh, Barks, Shrimpton, O’Malley, McAtee.
McGahey, Clarke, Onaraise they can’t be injured already
IRON FIRST-HALF: Watson, Bedeau, Colclough, Gilliead, van Veen, Butroid, Dales, Vincent, Olomola, Rowe, Hornshaw.
not many defenders among that lot.
the strip looks smart with the claret shorts and sky blue socks, any sign of Mark Lillis I wonder.
just seen on Twitter about Donny at 11am, but like we have all said this was announced 15 minutes before kick off.
they only tell you what they want you to know, one of the players said last week they were going to play a couple of friendlies this or next week, but like everything that goes on it is all hush hush, they don’t keep supporters interested in a normal summer never mind one like this one, you see plenty of pictures of players training and nothing else unless they are selling something.
The same paper group though, and isn’t Charlie working for Yorkshire Live at the moment.
IT does make you feel someone has jumped the gun on this one, though I hope it is true, but it seems a long while since it was unofficially announced.
Number 1 gets us off to a bad start.
Agree we don’t need two keeper coaches, it’s not as if we have turned out a promising first team goalkeeper this last 2 years.
Just paid mine, keep up the good work Matt.
I thought he was a Goodfella.
