They can’t bring him back until January
agree Samways, a lot of people are making comments yet where not at the games, it is OK blaming Swann or Cox, and though I agree with most of the reasons you have to accept if supporters stay away there soon won’t be a Scunthorpe United, or we will be playing another two leagues down.
and I was at the game yesterday, but didn’t enjoy the last 20 minutes.

Rory always has made brilliant saves, but he has always made big gaffs as well and defenders have given the impression they don’t trust him and it has knocked their form.
this season he has been the biggest plus overall, he is still making the saves, but has cut out the errors so now the defenders are trusting him more so is certainly our most consistent player.
regarding MOM yesterday, Rory first half, Pugh overall, but great performances from Hackney and Hippolyte in which he certainly looks better in central midfield.
regarding out of contracts, didn’t Beestin sign a new 2 year contract just before the end of last season.
Basically NI
Forgot to say totally agree about Pugh.
Kenyon is going to have to show a lot more than he has shown so far to shift Pugh from that position.
midfield was excellent today, nearly ruined by taking Hackney and Hippolyte off, have we found Miles’s best position.
Tom Pugh what a talent, must get it from his dad.2 users thanked author for this post.
Millen, Hippolyte, Hackney, Pugh and Scrimshaw were excellent, Rory Watson brilliant first half, enjoyed the first 70 minutes, but why oh why do we take two players off who were playing their best games for the club, I don’t like this 11 men in the box defending a lead for all that time and Neil Wilcox Cox sounded like he blamed the players, but nobody played badly but we need to keep getting points, I don’t think the players are that bad but tactics and formations leave a lot to be desired.

Have you tried refreshing the page
it is now working on Android and iPad but not on Edge Browser.
do you think that us being so defensive in games over the last 3 years, so our team putting more challenges in than the opposition is one of the reasons why it is 87 games since we had a player sent off against us while we have had 10 red cards.
info from IronStats on Twitter.
no squares to put results in?
Can’t see were Millen was at fault with the goal.
That would be classed as a gamble, the lads are used to sitting deep and relying on breakaways and luck and hopefully someone can hit the target for a change, so don’t expect any sudden change to a losing formation
wasn’t far wrong though
but seeing what is happening here I can’t see him getting another football club.
the question is, would it be better for the mega rich Swanns to pay back the loan and in January have less restrictions on spending and hopefully keep us in the league, or lose even more money getting relegated knowing he is probably not going to put the money in to get us back in the league, then go downhill like Kidderminster, York, Darlington and Chester and drop even further down the pyramid.
Neil came here making us all believe that he wanted to play exciting attacking football with a 4-4-2 formation, but after having Mr sit back at all costs Russ with him last season I think he still thinks this sit back and get pummeled approach will eventually work here yet even Graham Alexander failed when he tried it after Lucketti left and Neil McDonald joined him and he then got sacked for failure and a string of poor results with a good squad of players.

Let’s hang on to what we’ve got
Don’t let go until we’ve got a lot
Got a lot of points between us

I think we are eleven players short of having a decent team.
We wasn’t a million miles worse than them, but it’s the same tactics every home game and we set up like the away team, we had chances but only one brought a great save, they got a dubious penalty and poor defending gifted them the second, whether Rory could have cut the cross out I am not sure but again we don’t put real pressure on their defense until 2 goals down, Cox with his swapping about to suit the opposition is responsible for not having a settled team, though I understand there was illness that caused some of the changes, though I have to admit that was one of the worst refereeing performances I have seen, how that wasn’t a red card by Matte on Davis I will never know, they got a very soft penalty but if our players went down under tackles he waved play on.
Something needs changing and I don’t think the loan signings bring anything to the team when the young lads were doing OK.
At least we can’t get lower in the league.4 users thanked author for this post.
Uptheiron99 have you thought about doing a podcast with the 2 Matts and Brad, I am sure it would be a very interesting listen

Like on the other side of Keadby Bridge and on the other side of the Railway Bridge on Donny Road it still says Laws out on the wall
If Swann goes and the club goes under – what difference will that be to Swann staying?
Based on that thinking – I prefer to see him depart.Muses. I wonder if Fenty might be available …
if the club went under Les at least we would enjoy our weekends more
Neil said we are missing Kenyon to organise midfield and defence, so….
