there is no restrictions in the National League even Peter Swann said that league 1 and 2 couldn’t compete with them.
last night was the most entertaining match I have seen this season.

I remember my mother saying that during the winter of 1940/41 everyone thought it was just a matter of time before the Germans landed on our shores.
We’re not done for just yet!

A lot better performance today, draw was a fair result, it was hard to see why the goal was disallowed but manager said it was for Scrimshaw being offside, their penalty claims were close calls but it makes a change decisions going our way for once, Hill sounds a very positive manager so we will see if he delivers what he promises.
Certainly the most improved player, hasn’t made any major errors this season so he deserves his place in the team.
He has always had the ability but used to let himself down with silly errors, just need others to improve their game.3 users thanked author for this post.
Hill has a reputation of building young teams with a hint of experience.
Possibly tied up with the funeral Sanfran.
it is funny with our relegation season with defenders, McArdle had a nightmare season but looked good at Exeter, Goode and Burgess had the jitters at times and Charlie did really well at Northampton, Burgess had a good spell at Salford and a tremendous time at Accrington who then sold him for a large fee to Ipswich, very strange in their last season here they all had a lot of bad games.

Just shown on my email, I’m not going, 3 home games in 7 days means 3 lots of petrol and nothing at stake tonight, plus admission prices for last Saturday and today makes it expensive though season ticket for next Saturday, also performances don’t justify the expense.
Is it on iFollow
Their manager reckoned they should have won by 5 or 6 and were far superior in the second half, to be honest I thought they were better than us but only just but we didn’t look like scoring very often but missed one sitter, probably the worst Rovers team I have seen since they went out of the league and nearly went bust, so showed how bad we have become, and I have seen us play a lot worse than yesterday this season, on top of that we scored for them.
I’m not blaming the fans but the owners can easily pull the plug,I have hated match days the last three years, but would miss it if we packed up, or I could start going to watch Gainsborough Trinity again.

I think if you ask Chester, Bury, Macclesfield, Rushden & Diamonds and Darlington fans i don’t think they would agree with you alcy with going down that route

It’s OK supporters staying away and it is your decision, but if you stay away and come on here boasting about not coming and the club folded just remember you helped with the demise, I agree with the reasons like the chairman over the last 3 years and the dire football and negative tactics but if the club folded and the club restarted we would be playing Brigg and Barton OB or no club at all and then the owner could recoup his money on development of other projects.

What was the view of the disallowed penalty shout from behind the goal, from our position it looked like their player grabbed him but I think the ref thought Hippolyte grabbed him.
I thought we passed the ball well at times but then gave it away/ fell over the ball/ over run it, I think today and Tuesday are a good benchmark for the manager and McMahon is highly involved, so it was a OG, wasn’t sure from our seat area but not surprised.
You can also see why Rovers are struggling and there wasn’t a lot between them, pity Jarvis missed that chance.
Don’t like him, don’t like his style of play, hope it works for us. UTI.
but he will put players in their best positions and play to suit the team available and if formations don’t work won’t stick with it regardless I expect, and probably won’t overthink and pick teams to counteract opponents I hope

And what I read about it at the time O’Leary knew nothing about it and hadn’t even applied for it.
a player/manager with experience would be nice.
Sorry to see him go with him being a local lad and ex player, but 2 summer’s on the trot he has promised exciting attacking football but we have seen the totally opposite and if we take the lead he shuts up shop and probably over thinks games and swaps the team more than Ranieri, even on Saturday after winning the game the week before he still made a change and said after the game he wished he had made more, certainly the football we have played and the chairman have been the reason why fans are staying away, the last 3 and a quarter seasons have been a disaster and we need a change in style of football and the chairman to start to show enthusiasm again.

Why do we wait until we are two goals behind before we decide to attack, pathetic.

Let’s start with the team that started last Saturday, don’t take players off if they are playing well like last week when the midfield played well and he took two off and we struggled, no sitting too deep if we take the lead and try to put the game to bed, big worry they have a former striker in Freddie Sears so hope he doesn’t have a good day.
Matt has changed the program that logs the scores Sanfran.
Doesn’t our Pootle live there?
yes in all her glory
They used to have a brilliant camera shop 30 odd years ago, but like you say little else.
