I don’t think we played them at Twerton Park but could be wrong, I don’t think we have played Man United away never mind on 3 grounds, City we have played at Maine Road and Etihad but doubt the other one.

Hull City – Anlaby Road, Boothferry Park and KCOM
Rotherham – Millmoor, Don Valley and New York
Brighton – Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean
Accrington – Peel Park, Burnley and Wham Stadium

I think it was MK Dons we played at the Hockey Stadium Pat.

I can’t speak about the 50s but it was good in the early 60s but not the late, when we played in Red it was like a curse which was lifted when we went back to Claret and Blue, though I like the White and Blue of the 60s, but the 70s was awful apart from one season, this season has been worse than that.

At least Grimsby and Southend made a fight of it last season, we just go through the motion.

Is there actually any players we should keep for next season. It gets worse every week, losing 5-1 to a mid table team in a poor league 2 when fighting for your football league status is appalling. I think we need a complete clear out and reset. It all felt very promising when hill came in, now’s it’s following a familiar depressing pattern. If this squad of players can’t get 30 points in league two then achieving anything in the national league is a pipe dream.

it’s OK saying its a poor league, every team I have seen looks 2 divisions higher than us.

You expect a result like this once a season but if we thought last season was a wakeup call this one is beyond belief, even with the squad we have you would expect more wins than we are getting and better performances.

it shows the problem when our best player this season has struggled in previous seasons and the young lads have looked not out of place, yet they haven’t been outstanding results wise at their own age level.

also the number of players we have injured, some in the line of duty and others if they play 20 minutes, also where are Jarvis, Perry and KDT are they injured or frozen out, this is the worst season I have known since my first game in 1961, and certainly worse than the 70s and most of the 80s.

Money saving, got chance of a deal at Rochdale after being told he wouldn’t get a new contract because we were cutting the budget to get a young hungry squad to be the way forward, and look how that has worked

Again, we have played Palace there, I went to the Wimbledon game and three of the Palace games, going by that way of thinking I went to watch us play Brighton at Gillingham, so, got to admit this thread is a good one from the Gmeister.

We’ve played them in the Midland League because Trinity’s record crowd is against Scunthorpe, so not sure about that one whether that counts but I’m sure Bobby G will know, 2 good shouts with Hull and MK Dons

I think if we had the Man City or Liverpool players available we would still struggle, we are utterly jinxed, and whoever manages our current squad I don’t think we would get a massive change in results.

Nearly ironic but close enough, it’s called the New Manor Ground, the Manor Ground was the old ground in the town centre, been on them both, Iron at the New Manor and Gainsborough at the old, not sure if Scunthorpe have played at the old, I have a feeling we have played at Shildon and maybe Consett and possibly more in that area.

Anyway it’s Claines Lane not Victoria Ground where they play now, Victoria Ground was their ground after 2016 up to last season in Bromsgrove after they left Kidderminster

Wasn’t the Worcester game played at Kidderminster, they only started playing at the Victoria Ground last season, I know one of their coaches he lives just up the road from me and has told me all about the new ground.

We can’t complain we don’t set records under Swann, dubious though they may be.

You can imagine the pub quiz trivia questions derived from our “records” this season in years to come.🙁

I think we have created more records the last 4 years than any other clubs have done, for the wrong reasons.

    South Shields
Witton Albion when we played Northwich
    Drill Field

At least the 113 game record of nobody getting sent back off against ended last night, though it was too late in the game.

Why did the ref allow the Barrow player who was involved in the Grant sending off to remain on the field after recieving treatment from their physio?. I thought if a player received treatment they had to go off automatically before being allowed back on. First half one of the Barrow players dived in the box to try and win a penalty, it wasn’t given so why no yellow card for simulation?. Come on match officials teams don’t need your help to beat us. If this is the calibre of officials in the EFL what can we expect next season in the NL?.

they can stay on if a red card is given, not sure if it is the same with a yellow.

just seen it and if that was a red card there is something wrong with the game, it was a strong challenge but didn’t look out of control.

A bit too late though, at least the ref was fairer second half after the first half when we only had one free kick.
