regarding last night it was like 2 Northern Premier League clubs slugging it out which in a non football way made it entertaining, we gifted them a goal, got a penalty which looked out of the area, but his hand may have been in the area.
with it being a must win game I don’t know why we put young Wallace in, thought it was a gamble and looked out of his depth at times but his good bit of play got us the corner that got us the second goal, and don’t say the players don’t care after the way they celebrated the goals.
big pluses last night where Dewhurst couldn’t be blamed for the goal, Ntlhe and O’Malley were class and nice to see Alfie put in a shift on his 100th appearance.
also, great to see the minutes applause for John Duncan, which the Gateshead fans applauded as well.

I was told by someone last night who is known to everyone on here and we would love to be part of a consortium, that the current situation is a lot to do with the players performances especially the last two weeks, and that our owner is a very difficult person to deal with.
and got us in the Premier League.
Neil lives at Staveley near Chesterfield, he used to live in London but is a Scunthorpe lad B66.
He has

One shot at goal and that was cut out by our own player, and Lee Hodges said someone on their staff said we are the worst team they had played by a country mile.
Embarrassing but expected and not surprised.
Following Scunthorpe is deflating, 6 wins in 59 and a half games and sounds like we were playing for a draw isn’t good enough, why aren’t they told to go out and give it a real go.

Any chance of a win would be better Cass

Daws says the players have trained really hard, then said we can’t win every game, even the top Premier League lose occasionally, but he didn’t say you could win some occasionally.

if you had copied and pasted it. it wouldn’t have come up with my name, strange thing it happened one day last week on another thread, and I thought I haven’t posted that, then found the original post and it was someone else and I had posted the post either above or below it, strange one.
it said Mistertonmick wrote, and I didn’t, I wasn’t involved in the post at all or quoted it, so have got my facts right if you look at Awaywego’s thread reply.
My best one was when we beat Leeds in the FA Cup in the 80s and I worked at the British Rail Works at Doncaster and a lot of my workmates were Leeds fans, one of the few times I ever looked forward to going to work.

I thought listening to it on Bru that when the advert came on Matt Ellis had started to sing.
I hope Roj is part of a consortium, he is Iron through and through and a really nice bloke.
don’t drink anymore NI, and never liked Spirits.
Pat O’Cake this is the second time you have quoted me of writing things that I haven’t said, you did it last week on another thread, I never wrote “and you’ve always been allowed to take Food and drinks in” you find where I said it because you will find it was awaywego who said that, and last week you did something similar when it was the person above me who posted it so check your facts please, I use our outlet about twice a year and in a winter I sometimes take a small flask.
First time at Glanford Park that there’s no scoreboard. First time that I don’t wear my Scunny hat with a sort of defiant pride at being one of the chosen few. Any more?
not sure about the first time we haven’t had a scorecard, I don’t think we had one in the first season at GP, I could be wrong.

But if them blueprints take as long as the new ground it will be a long while yet.
You didn’t sound happy on Twitter
Again we have done nothing second half after creating chances first half, strange because when we beat Dorking it was the other way round

No urgency totally embarrassing.

It shows how low we have become, hard work.

We make hard work of chances, they have one real chance and score because we switched off again.
chance what we need to win a game, we know Boyce and Butterfield are doubtful after last Saturday, but we need to put our best available side out, I think Iron-awe is getting the wrong end of the stick, we need to try to win this game to give supporters and players a lift no good going there with the result doesn’t matter attitude, it seems like forever since we won a Cup game and I know draws aren’t bad but we could and should have won some of these recent draws.

if Daws deliberately rests players to give the kids a chance he deserves the sack

We need to put our strongest side out and go for a win, we need a winning mentality not a drawing or losing one.

he used to come to watch us play, don’t know whether he does now or not.
First half we looked like a mid table team, second we looked like bottom of the league, completely reverse of halves to the Dorking game.
So we have thrown a 3 goal lead away and lost, today a 2 goal lead to draw, and a couple of other games we have tried and lost 1 goal leads through trying to see it through and sitting back, today we went on the back foot straight from kickoff in the second half and gave them a goal, from a former loanee, makes you wonder what the halftime team talks are. -
