A lot of recent problems have been caused by Chapman and Beeston getting injured and Bunker going back to Forest Green

Well said Patrick, they need to be given a chance, the problem is everyone has Peter Swann still in their heads after 4 or 5 terrible seasons so they expect miracles overnight, everyone would have taken relegation months ago but unfortunately the takeover was a little too late, everyone is frustrated but I am sure it will change when we start afresh next season

But if you win it is easier to do a good interview
Well today after 32 plus years I missed my first league game at Glanford Park, broke down en route and had to get the AA to bring me home, I can’t believe the manager didn’t give the team to go all out to win the game after the reports I have read about the game, now following the path of the last 2 relegations were we went out in a whimper
It seems impossibly odd to me that we have had a shedload of managers who have all been utterly incapable of managing.
All have been pilloried by fans.
All have been booted out.
The logical view must be that it is not their management ability but that they have all been victims of a toxic environment with a built-in confidence-destruction bot.
It is just not feasible that they have all been poo!
“Well, this one is but the next one probably won’t be.” – Sigh!
Dean should be made to work to his own level of expertise – which, incidentally, is NLN.
He must be given a chance. Just how much more upheaval can we take?we have also had loads of players who have been given stick by the fans, and strangely one came on for England last week
Throw them in!
Sink or swim!we did that last season and look where that got us.

No but their new owners name is Andrew Patrick Nally, and not suggesting anything is fishy, the only thing I will say is Peter Swann sounds like he has got us in such a mess and it looks like Hilton has taken everything out of the cupboard and restarting afresh, just hoping everything is temporary, can see us having a small squad next season to streamline everything.

Isn’t he David Hilton’s business partner and now running Ilkeston Town, Mr Nally
You might also have to show your receipt to get your ticket when they issue them
I was told yesterday that most of the players are from that area
Correct NI, Simon Elliott told me today it was end of May
I thought he had resigned from Ilkeston Town, how the hell would you get tickets etc there for a start, where has this come from
Think that would be Elliot and Chapman Mick.
they were the two I was thinking of but wasn’t 100% sure

Didn’t a couple of the new lads sign for 18 months, not sure
at least we have our club, we could have gone under and started a Pheonix club and start at the very bottom against Brigg etc, we were expecting relegation anyway, I haven’t seen any of the away games but have enjoyed the home games under Dean, and possibly looking at the past records of recent managers Dean has won more games, is it Dean’s fault if we create chances and don’t score, didn’t the York keeper get man of the match, Billson is getting hammered yet he kept a clean sheet and had no chance with the County goals, accept a miracle isn’t going to happen and it is next season the rebirth of Scunthorpe United begins, at Glanford Park not at Gainsborough or Quibell Park, I am sure the new Chairman who has given it a good go will want a squad to get back to NLP and the players playing with confidence to stay up.
I am pleased we drew last night instead of losing because it seems you lot are, and remember Nels is still here.

But he hasn’t scored in any game has he, his time will come
I see on Twitter that a few County fans have been saying we are the poorest team to play at Meadow Lane, but we have the best fans.
I hope you had a nice day in my County, Barrie.
By the sound of it 1750 fans have been let down badly today with the lack of effort on trying to take the game to County and try to score any goals, pathetic never mind the final score but to go and defend and not try to score in our position is not good, very disappointing
the thing that worries me is not having a keeper on the bench, possibly if Chapman had have come straight off he might have not aggrivated it the second time.
i have just asked a Wrexham fan on Twitter what he is like and he hasn’t seen him play, so I presume they don’t trust him bringing another keeper in
Can’t understand why they don’t play Rory instead.
I can

RIP Terry Heath you are still remembered, great player for the Iron.
The 5-1 was in the league cup whatever they called it then.
We looked like the side pushing for the playoffs and them in a relegation scrap, brilliant goal from Leake and their goal was a good effort as well, Cam Wilson scored two well taken goals and Smith scored his usual goal after a good save from their keeper
The other good news was it looks like Will Smith will be staying on loan.Getting game time they call it.
I thought it was just me, I get the redirect blocked on the phone but I deleted chrome and reinstalled it and haven’t had it since on Tablet but haven’t done it on phone, first time you log onto a thread I get a full page advert as well, but it doesn’t do either on iPad
I get it on Android, but got rid of it on Tablet for now but not on phone
