I don’t think so unless he changed his names as often as he does now
I think I made the first post on the new forum in 2013
I was Bill and when he crashed his car outside the Northolme when he was manager of Rotherham, spoke to George a few times about both incidents, and George is one of the nicest people you could ever meet, he loved talking about his time at Scunny.

I don’t know about them saying they had actually bought the club, because the information I was told was Swann didn’t want to sell it to them because they didn’t want to buy the land, I know they raised everybody’s hopes up, but it sadly wasn’t going to happen, Simon and Raj said Peter was hard work to deal with.
How did he sell you a lemon
very unfair criticism of one of the people who have tried the hardest to save the club, David Hilton wants to do it alone what I gather from Simon and Raj but seems to keep them in the loop with what is going on

tracking but not signing him
Certainly not a secret society like other seasons

Scunthorpe United can provide an update on the following players:
– We can confirm the club has rejected an offer from a Championship side for goalkeeper Owen Foster. The 18-year-old has made 13 senior appearances for United so far and scouts from numerous clubs have been to watch the highly-rated shotstopper.
– Attacker Cameron Wilson has rejected the contract offer made to him by the club this summer and will be moving on. We wish him well for the future.
– Tom Pugh has signed a new one-year contract with the option of a further year in the club’s favour. The 22-year-old midfielder has made a total of 65 appearances so far in claret and blue, after successfully coming through our academy system. Fellow midfielder Dean Rance has verbally agreed terms on a new contract and is expected to sign in due course.
– Midfielder Harry Lewis has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The 19-year-old made a total of 11 senior appearances for the Iron and went out on loan to Gainsborough Trinity and Boston United last season. We wish him well for his future career.
– Academy trainees Harrison Poulter, Josh Robertson and Nathaniel Wallace have all signed their first ever professional contracts with the club. All three appeared for the first team at stages last season. Tyrell Sellars-Fleming has been offered a professional contract but given more time to consider his future following a trial at Championship side Blackburn Rovers. In addition to Owen Foster, that means five of this year’s academy second year intake have been offered professional contracts. We wish departing scholars Charley Strouther, Harry Elliott-Bell and Ben Pike all the best with their futures.
– We can confirm player of the season winner Reagan Ogle hasn’t expressed any desire to leave the Iron and is a big part of manager Jimmy Dean’s plans for the 2023-24 season.
– Midfielder Jacob Butterfield has expressed a desire to play at a higher level and has been made available for transfer, while striker Marcus Carver has also been made available for transfer. This information has been circulated to other clubs.

Swann wouldn’t have wanted to take the gamble.
He came in a couple of days ago didn’t he
a lot doesn’t make sense, if he is willing to pay 20k a month rent he may as well pay Swann up and build the new ground and sell GP off himself
Season tickets are on your card, so if we share with another club how will they work out, especially with your seat number on them, it will be interesting the Forum tonight
You would think it would cost a lot more to build a new stadium than purchase Glanford Park

You should remember Whitehall, he was the one diving about to win the penalty and took it, should be a good signing, looked a handful in that game.
May 14, 2023 at 6:06 pm in reply to: What Are The Skill Levels in The National League – Regional? #262120I thought you are being a bit unfair Les, I thought Oxford looked pretty decent first half and certainly would have beaten us, second half watched it until Everton v City started.
The only thing that is baffling, if it fell through where would the 1000 plus supporters fit into Quibel Park, or any other local ground never mind any other fans, and our supporters wouldn’t travel to Ilkeston, it would be be easier to end the club, but it hasn’t helped anyone all the abuse Hilton has had to carry on.

They have all been paid according to Simon Elliott, a glitch on the clubs Account limit that the Chairman has now paid out of his own funds and now sorted with the Bank so it doesn’t happen again.

I did NI but there was only us, Maidstone, Wrexham and Notts County that was consistent so good luck to those in the final run in.
I am beginning to think with all the posts about what Hilton is doing, Company House, names flying about of people I have not heard of, fans having slanging matches in the Car Park etc, I am wondering if our fans want him to go and leave us in the lurch again, just remember he has paid the tax man, paid the wages and gave it a go bringing players in though it failed miserably, but gave it a go, regarding what goes on behind the scenes is nothing to do with the supporters and just let him get on with it or l can see him losing interest and then you may get your wish and get a Phoenix Club and start again playing Bottesford and Winterton, before he took over you we would all have been happy just to have our club and play in the NLN, if you want a Phoenix Club we could drop another 3 divisions so just give the bloke a chance and stop all the gossip and posts of negativity on Here, Twitter and Facebook, regarding Jimmy Dean I am not sure he is the right man but again a preseason and new squad will hopefully stop the last 5 years rot and we can get a winning team, because it can’t get worse, so let’s get behind Hilton and give him a chance he’s only been here 3 months so give him a full season and let’s hope we have a new beginning.

but why do you need to look at what Ilkeston are doing, it has nothing to do with Scunthorpe United, we are more interested in what we are doing

I would like us to have a lot of players we haven’t got now.
KVV and Toney up front, Holmes and Morris on the wings to start with1 user thanked author for this post.
No excuse tomorrow, may as well go all out for victory because losing doesn’t matter, incidentally my cousin drove the Bus to Boreham Wood and said it wasn’t a happy Bus on the way home, but didn’t say whether it was players or management or he maybe didn’t know
