The one thing our new owners don’t do, is make false promises. After years of neglect by Fenty the ground is in need of lot of TLC. They have improved the match day experience, including the food and drinks served in the ground. They want to bring the training ground into town, and open it up for public use, seven days a week. It is going to be a comunity center when it is finished.
What they won’t do is put us in hock to the tune of millions chasing the inpossible dream, unlike some club owners I could think of. That is why it will take time, the list is long, money is tight.
See you all next season, if you think the refs are bad in the 2nd div, wait untill you see the refs in this league!
Yes it is Ryan Taylor. Hurst has found us some real gems that could easily play league football. One in particular is Erico Sousa, plucked him from Darlington, he’s unplayable. Hurst has a real talent for spotting good players, as he has shown this season.
McAtee has been brilliant for us this season. As for the jibes about it’s only the Conference, you only have to look at Sarfend to see it’s a better standard than you’re trying to make it out to be. Hurst knows how to get the best out of him, he has also bought in some great players for him to play off, and built a team that plays good football and is scoring for fun, from scratch with little money spent, unlike some in the National league.
Swan dropped a bollock of biblical proportions when he forced Hurst out. If you had kept him you wouldn’t be in the position you are in now, and McAtee would have been at the heart of it.
Good luck to the proper Scunny fans, you’re going to need it!

GTFC have sold over 2,000, and they are still going strong. It’s surprising what a change in ownership can do, you lot should try it!
We are non league, but we are in a better position to you.
