It’s standard practice for senior employees to leave with a compromise agreement. I imagine Jimmy was paid more that he is owed alongside signing a confidentiality agreement and signing away his rights to raise any historic issues at an employment tribunal. This stops him popping up on a podcast and talking ill of the club, it’s ownership or revealing anything the club would rather remain behind closed doors.

Does anyone know if the join online link works on the trust website?

I’m all paid up via PayPal, but have received no further communication. Is the trust just inundated?

Might as well do the announcement pre-match at GP on the tannoy. That’d get the crowd going.

If you want to hear his comments in context they’re on bbc sounds.

I don’t think we can read too much into it.

    Also no expert but…

Isn’t it merely removing a loan the club had from coolsilk? So the club must’ve paid it off or coolsilk have waived the debt.

As above this is likely a precursor to a sale, a refinancing or restructuring.

An improvement in the clubs finances could be to enable it to take out a mortgage and purchase the ground back from Coolsilk… £5mil mortgage for the new owners.

Same for me, cancelled Sky, read the paper from the front instead of the back, stopped making subs on fantasy football, watch Sunday brunch instead of MOTD.

It might show how far we’ve fallen, but letting your top scorer for the last two seasons go when you’re in a relegation scrap is suicide.

He might not be consistent, he might be infuriating to watch sometimes, but he was the most likely scorer on any given week.

£50k is nothing. 100 extra fans a week gets us that. He might’ve been disillusioned but it’s a manager’s job to motivate the players!

    Neil Cox now favourite.

We could do a lot worse. Had to be someone up and coming, who else would fancy this young squad and zero job security.

    Good look to him.
