It’s going to come down to relying on two clubs being worse than us. That is highly unlikely as others in L2 seem more ambitious.
C U Next Tuesday Peter…

Stand by my post, someone on £200,000 a week should at least keep the ball in-between the posts. A little more practice a little less politics please. Should be able to do both but last night say otherwise.
To quote what was actually said, in a personal message. Sorry but I don’t understand the fuss!
In a private message to her colleagues, Ms Elphicke said: “They lost – would it be ungenerous to suggest Rashford should have spent more time perfecting his game and less time playing politics.”
I take this opportunity to condemn the racist abuse England players received after last nights match.I noticed there was no racist abuse inside the ground as usual.
Whom ever these people are, they wouldn’t dare shout the abuse in the stadium, or even on the streets outside. T’internet has given little scrotes the opportunity to post freely with little chance of being caught. The social media platforms they are using, should seriously think about installing filters, so that certain trigger words would prevent a message from getting through.

I’ll say this, as a part time petrol station worker with zero money to be sued for. Swann is all about his money and not SUFC. He just bought a football club, close to the one he owned previously, and after a few attempts at taking it up to championship level, is now making it worth peanuts so that he can own it for nothing.
I believed in you Swan you cnut, make me do that again or kindly p off.
Why on Earth would anyone on here sign that? Where has the indication been that anyone would? Everyone on here has shown their joy in us winning. But, I guess the straw man that those not right wing enough have to ‘hate this country’ must stick for some.
In my honest opinion, many on this board are more interested in ROI than England. I can imagine such types taking a sly dig and secretively signing that petition.
It seems that there is an online petition against last nights result. I won’t post the link because some of you lot might sign it.
I bet the lesser spotted Schmeichel has signed it. The bitter twisted little big man.
I’m happy to see that we will be promoting Cancer Research on the new shirts. Other than that they are decent enough. But then some people will never be positive about anything. Didn’t we use to call em pods?
I really hope you are being sarcastic with that last statement.
The last part of the post was meant to be tongue in cheek. An insinuation of what a lot of leftists would like to see.
I do still believe that there are many leftists hidden amongst the genuine BLM supporters, most of whom will be young middle class white people, students for example.
I’m not at all convinced that all BLM supporters are political activists. But hidden among the crowds are many left wing driven wannabe politicians. Now it is more of a case of one side saying yes and the other saying no. If it isn’t nipped in the bud, then only the white man man who feels compelled to kneel. While all the other’s stand looking down on us.
Perhaps they will loan him back to us? Stranger things have happened at sea!
What a crock of ….
Be careful man, we have seen this kind of thing before…
If our budget is going to be as low as eluded too by people posting here, then I hope to goodness that we don’t blow it on a player who just got relegated. I’m also not keen on cod head rejects, and with his penchant for a sick note… I mean, what else is there to love? 💩
If those players are going to be taking the knee for the Euros in subservience to a Marxist cult I will not be watching and hoping they lose! Now we have Gareth Southgate the woke come to their support in such a degrading act! An absolute disgrace!
It’s time these pampered prima donnas were reminded that they play for the people of this country, not for their own libtard agendas!
I agree, but I did watch and when they first stooped the boos rang out around the stadium. They didn’t last long, probably didn’t want said libtards running to the police, stewards, referee, or whomever else they could go snivelling too.
But well done to them, had I been there I would have bood too.
6ft3, can play in lots of different positions, chips in with the odd goal?
Coxie won’t have him…1 user thanked author for this post.
I did mean next season. 😝
If I’m going to a chip shop in Lancashire I’m having a couple of those steak and kidney puds with my chips.

What will be negative and pessimistic achieve?
Next season is a whole different ball game.I asked:- “Other than that we’re still in the FL give us something to be positive about so that we can all be as optimistic and happy as you are.”
Deereyme66 asked:- “What will being optimistic achieve? Give me something to be optimistic about and I might be.”
Any chance you have answers or is it time for you to disappear again?
In a way he is correct. Because if we don’t do better this season then we might well never see The Iron in the football league again. There was only two worse teams this season, and they are gone. So we definitely need to get better or next season will be our Swan Song (pun intended).
So it’s all about you is it fansy?
I’m more concerned about what is happening than what some little bum wipe posted on here in the past.
UTI!
There is a time and a place for everything. I work in a petrol station, and the forecourt is NOT the place for an argument.
Aside from the fact that it is a very dangerous explosive area, and safety procedures must be observed at all times. This should not have happened with children present.

What concerns me is how he has taken us down to almost being, or maybe actually being relegated from the football league. The value of the club itself must be peanuts compared to the days when we were making the playoffs in L1.
Now he has shifted ownership of the ground and stadium to one of his own ltd companies. So what will happen if he resigns as chairman?
This stinks like Grimsby docks on a hot summers day. 👎
I’m also fed up with the dross that is being served up by what passes for Iron players these days. Then the ass clown of a manager continually saying he is “disappointed” seriously, you could turn the volume off, it’s the same every time.
They are not playing for him, don’t have to play for the shirt. But what rankles with me is they can’t even try to play for us.
I don’t like sacking managers, but this time I’ll make an exception. Swanny get your head out of your backside and get us a new manager. Don’t wait on it either, get him in before the transfer window. That or sack him now and put Wilcox in as caretaker till the end of this season,

I’m actually convinced that The Iron will finish in the top 12 this season, which given the circumstances will be a good job for our rookie manager.
I’d love to see some more home grown talent breaking into the first team.

If there is any truth in this, then we have some bargains, and one or two wage thieves.
I’m sure that any L2 club would pay Van Veen £4K. Spence and Beestin both look good but not perhaps both in the pitch at the same time. Green looks the business and probably a star of the future.
On the other hand we should not be handing decent money to anyone who doesn’t want to play for us. As previously mentioned, P45s should be winging there way to at least four supposed top players at the end of this season…
Had he really been banned for life because of something he allegedly said, it would be a sorry state of affairs.
Besides, the FA can only ban him from playing here. A lifetime ban (which I’m sure has not been issue) would simply see him move overseas.
I was on a late shift last night, so was only able to listen to the commentary. The only bonus is that I didn’t pay £10 to watch that shit.
Let us be clear. Resting our best players and forfeiting one game, in the hope of getting something in the next makes no sense whatsoever. I shall be very interested in the Leyton Orient match. If we get nowt from that, then the whole thing comes apart, and that is what may well happen.
Should have started last night with our best 11 and had a right go at them…

Ah well, I don’t suppose I mind as long as we get three points!

I have looked all over my iPhone app and can’t find those options.
I’ve never met Peter Swann, so cannot say if I like him or not. Also I never got the minutes to said meeting, although I’m sure I’m still an Iron Trust member.
Having looked around, I could see that Coolsilk is owned by Mr Swann and his Mrs. So moving his share of the business could be an attempt at streamlining?
I also found an item in the Cod Telegraph, in which he tries to reassure that the club is in safe hands, I’m sure you have all read this already, but I’ll post the link below.

Yeah the sports program has now come on from radio Kent? That’s gonna drive me crackers.
