I didn’t forget, it was so long ago, that I just didn’t bother. My involvement with them changed. I probably will be kicked out of the Facebook page now. But don’t know if I will even notice. Everything is always changing, not always for the better.

The trouble with t’internet is that it is very difficult to get anything removed. On Facebook group owners (moddies) can do it, if you can talk them into it. Criticism of the Trust is just the opinion of someone who I would guess is a bitter man. As a Trust member living darn sarf, I find to emails I get very useful. A good of information, (as is this place). I am a member of the Facebook group but rarely visit and don’t reply anymore.

Talk about Trump ‘controlling the narrative’ is rubbish. The whole of the US media were firmly on the side of Kamala Harris. All the polls had her winning the US election. All the talk about Trump was negative and filled with vicious lies. He won in spite of the narrative imo.

I agree, we are where we are, and it’s not going to be easy to get out of this league. Sure there are many crap teams in NLN, but the reason we are here is because we are not a lot better than them. I want The Iron to win every time, but it’s not possible. Nine points from a possible nine is very good, and we are only one point off the top. Admittedly some of the football has been dire, but that is the way it is in this league. UTI

The fact that The Iron is playing ‘dross’ football is proof that we are in the right league. I won’t say we deserve to be in this league. As we were continually screwed by two wrong uns, who bought the club and run it well into the ground. But these players and this manager are where they deserve to be. We need a better manager and better players to get out of it. UTI

He’s got to be a better option than what we have right now.

So this went from being a very well run, little club, that often punched above its weight. To being a slightly bigger fish in a shitty little pond, and you think there was never any assets to be stripped away by two unscrupulous club owners?? As for closing the academy.. Do you really believe that was a good idea? We can’t afford to buy any decent players, so let’s get rid of any chance of developing any. The Iron has been right to the very edge of extinction, and it is because of two dodgy chairmen, not any of our managers.

The only thing certain about The Iron these days, is that they everyone will always find a way to blame the manager. Fact is, we are in a crappy league, with crappy opponents. We should be good enough to beat them all, but we are not. But that is why we are where we are. We have been severely asset stripped by not one, but two dodgy owner/chairmen. Now we are where we are, because that is where we belong. To get back to where we were, will take a lot of time and a great deal of investment. We have the facilities of a club too big for this league, but unless we find an urgently needed money donor, we will eventually have to make the club shrink.
