Is Bishop available?
Whatever – we MUST have another specialist CB. Really missed Boyce. Hope he’s not crocked!
Six games to come against Notts Co, Wrexham and Chesterfield.

As I see it, so many claims have been made which have not come to fruition that, what appears to be a huge majority of fans, feel wholly unable to trust him.
Personally, I would prefer these views to be presented without the name-calling and rancour.A few months back, I suggested that his best option would have been to do some serious ‘pump-priming’.
Put in enough funds to ensure that we were a club in the top third and the buyers will start to appear.
Maybe it is not yet too late for that option.1 user thanked author for this post.
This was evident from commentary.
Great news!
Pleased our two ‘injuries’ appear only to be cramp. Not at all nice but likely to be fit for Saturday, I expect.Injuries.
Squad depth may soon be tested.Butterfield’s lack of challenge when the ball was his to win cost us the first goal.
Steve Torpey was criticised often on these pages.
Scunny fans seldom give credit to traditional CFs.
Okay – Nuttall is no Torps but rather an inexperienced forward with potential.
The guy needs maximum support.
What’s more, IMHO, he’s a good notch and a half better than Loft.
Too many good CFs have been all too glad to leave GP and fans’ attitudes have often played no small part in that.4 users thanked author for this post.
BS – it really would be wise not to take unnecessary risks. Ask your solicitor for an opinion. 5 minutes – you will probably not even get a bill.
(Unless, of course, you want to take the martyr route.)

Lavery will make Nuttall a better player.
Delaney is starting for Morecambe – alongside Bedeau.
The games he has played in have tended to be those which have been the poorest for the Iron in making space that I’ve ever seen.
When those around you do not give you the movement you need by lolling about ball-watching you anticipate what they’ll do – and very often you’ll be wrong.
Result – duff pass.Seen the highlights, now. Delighted with the ‘swap’ for Carver.
Guy Ipoua’s debut was a bit special.
Another potential top forward without true consistency.
He could really have been a contender!1 user thanked author for this post.
Someone who is creative and brings other forwards into the game?
Wow!Never thought it would have been.
I thought the cods were playing. Can someone who was there please tell me why our CM did not exist in the first half?
Were Dorking that brilliant or … ?Mick – oh ye of little faith!

Only one Georgie Taft – one Georgie Taa-aft!
Still waiting for a new CB.
That one addition would probably make the difference we all need.
What happens when Taft or Boyce get injured, BTW?1 user thanked author for this post.
Do teams stay up with an insufficiency of CBs?
Steve Drake and Brian Arblaster – those years were pretty awful for us with GKs.
Didn’t he work as a vehicle mechanic in Ashby?
Lavery is not yet 30.
I don’t like to see forwards or GKs as captains.

I would not have given Beestin a new contract.
He’s always played in patches. Capable of disappearing for quarter of an hour at a time.
Another one of those players who can fool some supporters by the excellent stuff which he puts together in occasional two minute bursts.
I have never yet seen a 90 minute performance from him.
And yes, I haven’t forgotten about his long covid issue.3 users thanked author for this post.
Strikes a distant chord in my braincell, Mick.
FIVE minutes time added on? There was surely more than five minutes in York’s first three second half injuries alone!
I was expecting 9+ and 11 would not have surprised me.1 user thanked author for this post.
Dramatic surge up the table to second bottom!

Didn’t I just say that?
