Without sponsorship – JB stadium is great.
With sponsorship they can, within reason, call it whatever they want.

I seriously think that Hill left what was the Bedlam of GP as a broken man.

At least Dean & Hilton now know where the club had been failing previously.
Not too much wrong with making helpful suggestions.

My version nowhere near as interesting.
    So I’ll tell you.
On way back from France after leading a school trip, my proletarian hat blown off by a gust of wind whilst boarding ship from Boulogne to Calais. Went several feet in the air but had to catch it myself.

Walked down the pier at NH with my Dad when I was about 7. Gust of wind took his trilby lifted it off his head and took it about 15 yards out and above The Humber. 2nd gust of wind and it came back about another 15 yards behind us at the side of the tracks.
Staff member – woman in a uniform of some sort – stretched out an arm and took as neat a high and wide catch as Botham ever did at 2nd slip.
    Astonishment all round. Grateful pater.

It’s easily explained. This little bloke gets on a sweaty equine and tries to make it run faster than all the rest.
I don’t think there’s much else to add.
Oh! There’s a load of people watching who have placed something called ‘bets’ – loadsa dosh they probably can’t afford and would have been better spent on football.
    Easy, innit?

I tend to defend managers coz I believe that the managerial merry-go-round never helps a club. The general rule of thumb is that the more managers you sack – the worse it gets! (Indeed. Look at the case of one Scunthorpe Utd.)
I am supporting the Vice Admiral for different reasons. He is the best I’ve seen in years. Inspirational.
He’s got: players moving off the ball – something not seen since the latter days of Hurst. Following a plan. Playing for and covering each other. Working really hard.
In addition, he has got the best out of a pair of CBs who had been looking quite ragged.
Beestin and Butterfield playing well. Young uns rising to the challenge and so much more.
If we hadn’t been playing pretty much all the top sides every week for a small eternity – would certainly have had plenty more points to show.
A month ago he was saying that new players were being lined up. (Hope they haven’t all gone elsewhere!)
Must be given the chance to showcase his talents. BTW – he never impressed me all that much as a player.

A friend invited me to a Chinese Burns party. I didn’t particularly want to go but he twisted my arm.

I am not at all against a ‘new club’, BI – but all we should each be doing at the moment is trying to get a few bright ideas together. Just in case. So that we can sorta hit the ground running should that ever become necessary.
We would need a new club under way, in some division or other, by August of this year.

I know someone who has a great deal of experience with people who have mental issues.
I described the history of our club’s owner with the Iron and he was insistent that calling PS ‘evil’ was probably not getting to the nub of the issue.
His argument – recently developed as the news broke – was that the gambling addiction tells a different story.
He stated that gamblers tend to be either fantasists or extreme optimists – perhaps both.
Gotta admit that did seem to fit the bill, rather.

My one observation would be that these problems cannot justify failing to attempt to put right the wrongs perpetrated against other people – in this case, thousands of Iron Fans.

Not making any point, here. Am just throwing this into the mix.

Snow, water, valid criticism, duck crap – it all slides off Swann’s back.
How will this put any pressure on him at all? He’s not the chairman – he is the uninterested owner.
It seems more likely that this man – never known to be stubborn, of course – can just sit back and smile.
    Punishments inevitable?
I understand the frustration and would join any better thought out demonstrations.
