People seemed pretty happy around us even though one person complained about the centre of his burger being undercooked.
These things will surely soon all get sorted.

They are now advertising a 7 day package for £9-50 from the 15th August which includes us.

I have tried several ways to pay and have failed, so far.

Peterborough Sports can’t keep winning – they’ve lost their manager.

I don’t think they are getting covered at all Saturdays at 3pm, MKI.
I’m often abroad and watched a fair few in the NL last season.
That site is not hugely user friendly. The match is only 6 days away so would have expected the signing up for it to be available at this point.
Sorry. But missing Iron games makes me panicky. A true addict.
(See how worried I’m looking on my avatar pic.)

I’ll be there Saturday but can’t make it Tuesday.
National League TV shows the game as up for TV on the 15th. So, have signed up with Paypal as it apparently shows Tuesday game televised.
No sign of it for actually booking.
Anyone know if the Saturday game has to be played first? Or have I made a cock up? – Or more likely – is my final brain cell failing?

In all levels of court, Judges often familiarise themselves with the case in advance to try to find a way out of having a hearing.
They try to resolve any impasse by asking loaded questions. Both parties would be wise to listen to any proffered suggestions or advice.
Entirely dependent on the judge, of course. Some may go by the strict letter of the law but …

First goal should have been disallowed for assault on defender. Our first came from a foul throw.
Only Whitehall’s goal was valid – and what a good ‘un.

A former ref in that division told me personally to avoid going because there was an especially foul and significant element amongst the home fans.
Said that they were the worst he’d encountered in the whole NLN.
None of this excuses poor behaviour from Iron fans, of course.

Yes. We have spent the first half cleverly lulling ’em into a false sense of security.

Let’s hope the pitch drainage at Tamworth is good enough not to get in the way of The Mighty Iron Machine and create a freak result.

Awesome stuff, IA. Bit peed off on three occasions over the 5 matches when batsmen went ape – at great cost. Unhappy with Day One declaration. Dischuffed about the weather.
Otherwise – was nearly permanently glued to the screen.

    This manager seems amazing.
When did we last see: intelligence; solid tackling; great blocks; players working for each other; terrific movement both on and off the ball?
My dear friends, when we consider the skills on show, I do declare – we have a football team!

In my time dealing with CC judges – I do think that arthritis issues as well as leaving early on a Friday to play golf might come into play. (Far too many dream of being makers of case law.) The judiciary got steadily worse during my decade.
TBH though, I have only been involved in civil matters a few times but the judges therein didn’t seem all that different to the CC types.
I’d personally wager that the guy who makes the worse impression will lose.
I was once in Sheffield CC and watched a 100% innocent trio made to pay monies they did not owe to a certain body as reparations for the illegal acts of a criminal working for that aforementioned body – by then dead.
I was talking to the trio 30 seconds after the judge had told them that if they chose to fight these huge financial payments and happened to be found guilty – he would jail them for 5 years each!
Judges know how to put pressure on folks to make them bow to their desires. Incidentally, when they all agreed to plead guilty + pay huge amounts they never owed as required – the judge had an early trip home.
