Rumblings from the Bolton end suggest it’s a free transfer aswell. Would be fantastic business if it happens.

All this talk of a Striker baffles me. I’d argue we’re more desperate for a CM. Only got Karacan (potentially injured) Spence and Beestin.

Outstanding. Manny is absolutely unbelievable at the back.

It’s on for me now. Game was delayed by 15 mins if that had anything to do with it.

Both sides will have played 3 games in 6 games so That excuse is nullified. We have big squad so smart rotation is key.

They’re in poor form and were fortunate to take the 3 points at GP- want to see Cox set up for the win.

Sorry should’ve added both teams will be feeling it which is why I think it will be a poor game.

Not expecting a great game tonight. Colchester wildly out of form and data shows they’re one of the worst teams in this division. We’re coming into form but looking tired at the minute. Still sneak a 1-0 win.

The Hastings chairman said on Twitter

“ Both bidding clubs met my valuation”

He chose them, no biggie. We will only know in a few years if he’s one that got away.

The way it’s read suggests he rejected us, which is fair enough considering he is based a stones throw away from Crawley

At risk of sounding like Scott Laird Vale are in a bit of turmoil. Clarke set to miss out and Eisa 50/50. 2-1 win last minute.

Or 4-5-1 again with Green wide right and Gilliead inside?

At least Kev isn’t being risked.

I’m trying to be positive 😂

    Update

The National League has confirmed to clubs the board is no longer considering the option of the league taking a loan and distributing to clubs (The favoured option by clubs)

It adds clubs taking loans is not ‘seen as sustainable and viable’ (correct) so it appears the season now rests on a u-turn from DCMS.

SUFC must be the only team to have 5 strikers and all of them are injured.

Be surprised if it takes that long, no shots in the first 10 minutes is almost a cert.

    Yep, here for a point.

Onariase on bench if required, but agree. All fingers and toes crossed.

Hope we’ve been practicing set pieces, as I can’t see us getting a goal from open play with that lineup.

Our set plays have been woeful all season, so unlikely.

Two games up next against Barrow and Grimsby.

Cox on thin ice if we don’t get 6 points.

Found it remarkable people didn’t like him. He linked up play well with smart touches and was a composed finisher. Not surprised to see him bagging for Bradford

As he is left sided if might mean someone has come in for bedeau and taft is the replacement.

100-200k and a future sell on clause and someone can take him.

Cordner and Vincent can easily go back. Dales has 3 conference clubs interested in him already. Butroid will surely have a suitor at that level as well, he’s more than capable..just needs games.

Jarvis and Turan are going to be the hard one’s to shift.

Who the feck are going to want either of those ?

Didn’t we give them both 2 year deals?

Whatever happened to one month loan deals?

An experienced striker and centre back would be ideal as they would not be breaking the bank and gives us the back up we need until manny, Mcgahey and Van Veen are close to returning

FA scraped the loan window outside of the Summer and Winter window.

    If we can somehow,

    Out

    Vincent
    Cordner
    Dales
    Butroid
    Taylor
    Watson (Needs game time)

    In

    Pope
    Nightingale
    Karacan

Good January as far as I’m concerned

As I said on the Loft thread, Cox is keen but as it stands it’s unlikely to happen. He nearly came in the summer but we couldn’t get it over the line. Shares agent with Cox.

Can’t see how we’d afford it.
