4 is mad. I reckon we only need a CB and a wide player.

Part time team. Most ex league clubs struggle there. Will be a much harder game than Saturday.

If we continue to grow in confidence we become a more attractive proposition for players too.

    https://www.fctables.com/england/national-league/

I found this site which when you click on a result provides match facts. No idea on the accuracy of the stats. Shows we had 56% possession and 16 shots.

I’d give my knees up for Whitehouse. Praying he can stay fit.

Champagne football at times first half. Young lads did well to hold on at the end. Positive day.

Game will probably get delayed, crash on M18 and 1048 train cancelled. Replaced by a bus which will turn up well after KO.

Momentum behind us with the win last week. 2-0 away win tomorrow. Would like to see Scrimshaw partner Jarvis and give Green a rest.

I remember predicting a backs to the wall win against Walsall last season and that’s what happened. Same again tonight.

Just been looking at the tickets on the website and I noted there’s hardly any available in home and away ends. I suspect this must be down to some sort of capacity restrictions?

I noticed the same and was confused, there’s no way it’s going to be a 9000 sellout surely?

Including an appearance by the lesser spotted German.

Looking at the teams it seems Spence won the raffle for first place on the physio table.

Sounds like Spence is on the naughty step…

Sam rejected us, didn’t feel it was the right time to come back and wants to be competing at the top end of the league.

Heard today that slocombe coming back is a done deal everything sorted and personal terms agreed. Just waiting for National league season to finish

    UTI

Well we will soon see if that’s true. Notts County have just lost 4-2 to Torquay.

    “Minimal improvement on Watson”

I thought Slocombe in the promotion season was very, very good…didn’t he win the golden glove award ?

33yrs old now, more games under his belt and seen him a few times for Notts County and looks a much better keeper. One thing I did notice was that he was way more commanding than he used to be, which was one of this downsides.

Certainly did win the golden glove award, and how many penalties did he save?

I thought the other day his distribution was brilliant aswell.

Slocombe made some fantastic saves the other day and is mainly the reason County are still in the playoffs.

Slocombe was fantastic in the promotion season under Russ. L2 golden glove and how many penalties did he save?

As for now, he’s local, probably cheap and Cox knows him from his time at Notts County. Plenty of experience and a signing I can get behind.

I bought mine, this is my club and I’ll be going regardless of who’s in the dugout, who’s in the boardroom and who’s on the pitch. The swings and roundabouts of supporting a lower league team. You endure the bad moments which makes the highs so much better.

    Keep the faith UTI.

A well deserved point against the best team in the league! We completely dominated, probably the best ever opposition GK display we will ever see! Hopefully we can take all of that into Tuesdays game UTI
