There is a precedent for a football ground music festival in Scunny. In September 1966 The Old Showground hosted a beat festival featuring Georgie Fame, The Troggs, Geno Washington, The Creation, Chris Farlowe, The Mindbenders and Billy J. Kramer. Quite a top line-up for the time. £1 would get you in and it lasted from 5pm to 1 am.
