Metro is bus replacement for last part of the journey.
Rang yesterday and told buses every 15 minutes and it adds about 20 minutes to the journey.

Surely the Club are currently funding themselves.
Mr Swann mortgaged the Club and no doubt it’s this is from this money he is funding the Club.
So what happens when the mortgage money has gone ?

There will be no takeover this Season so this is what we got !
Will we go part time in National League North ? That’s if we are still on the go !

I have sent him 2 messages and they asked serious questions and he has not replied to either !
I m afraid he is becoming part of the problem.
He is there to represent all the fans and I appreciate he cannot disclose sensitive information and I would not expect him to.
But I think he should go on record to say how the vast majority of fans feel about the things going on at our Club.
Apart from being a Director surely he has also has to be accountable to the various fans groups who put him there !
Does he report back to them ? If so surely they should relay this to their members or if he does not then why does nt he as he is there as a Fans Representative and not Neil Wright !
It seems to me that he needs to be more proactive and not a messenger for the Club.
I thought that it was great that we got a Fans Director and thought that Neil was a good fit for the position but I m sorry to say that in my opinion he has become part of the problem.
Before he was a Director he was very vocal about the Club and now nothing and his PR leaves a lot to be desired.
I also think we hear nothing from the various supporters clubs who put Neil in this position.
Surely they should be saying something or advising him.
Are they happy with how he’s handling the job ?
There is obviously something wrong due to the amount of criticism he is getting from all quarters !
Surely this is not how the Fans Director role was supposed to go.

Turnbull has no authority at all.
He is just an employee who’s job it is to run the Club.
Swann knows that with Turnbulls background with the Club he could attract more fans and sell more Season Tickets than Swann himself.

Mr Turnbull has done a good job for his boss Mr Swann and that was to sell as many Season Tickets as the Club could to reduce the amount Mr Swann has to put into the Club.
As for Neil Wright he is there representing the Fans and even if he does not agree with all the worries etc it his job to put these worries forward and respond with any replies he gets.
We have lost to a part time team , 10 man team for over an hour and a team who were 3 0 down.
The other loss we were just absolutely awful and I had the misfortune to be there !
But all we hear from the Club is silence !

He might as well not have turned up !
Either just stood saying nothing or sat down motionless
Their Manager was and shouting etc all the match.
He never gave the fourth official a moment.
Is Hill really a Football Manager ?
Or is he Mr Swanns way of getting the Club into oblivion ?
3 wins out of 37 says it all and he still has a job !

Takeover is another smoke screen like all the off the field things that Mr Swanns employee Lee Turnbull is doing to mask the very poor Manager and on the showing on the last 2 games very poor Team.
Came out of Tuesday nights game and it felt just like coming out of one of last seasons games !
Nothing seems to have changed on the pitch and I doubt with the takeover.
Mr Swann has been very shrewd in appointing Lee Turnbull who is bringing money into the Club and because of this he has no need to sell.
The only real changes we have at the Club are Chip Vans , Face Painting , Singers and loads of small posters going up around town.
We still have the same owner, same Manager and on the showing of the last two games players not much if any better than we had.

Should not still be at the Club.
His actions in the last home game towards the Fans should mean he never wore the shirt again
Anyone in any other business who did that to a firms customers would have been sacked on the spot !

It’s ok saying Nuttalls gesture was spur of the moment etc but I did nt see it but read he also carried on after the final whistle !
If that’s true it’s hardly spur of the moment.
In most professions his actions would lead to instant dismissal contract or no contract as the Fans are the Clubs customers.
He should go and we will hardly miss his goals !

The person who should be there to answer questions won’t be and that’s Mr Swann.
At the end of the day those present representing the Club have no power to change or do anything at the Club while Coolsilk own everything.
No doubt there will be a lot of enthusiastic comments from them and plans for the future but in the end it will be down to the owners what really happens and that’s why Mr Swann should be there.

Nothing he has ever promised has happened so why all of a sudden are people believing him saying various parties are interested in buying the Club.
If he is still the owner by next Season I can envisage his funding into the Club being next to nothing.

Spoke to Lee Turnbull at Orient.
He was full of enthusiasm and ideas for the future of our Club.
Problem is as I see it Swann owns the Club so is Lees employer so Lee might be full of enthusiasm etc but ultimately like any other employee will only be allowed to do what Swann will let him do.
While Swann owns the Club he will also control the finances etc.

If nothing changes and by that I mean Mr Swann is still running the Club then in 12 months we could be about to embark on a new adventure in the National League North.

Orient could and should have scored 8 today !
Our fate was sealed months ago and the Owner did not have the courage to see it through to the end.
With this lot we will be in National League North in 12 months time !

At this moment in time nothing has changed except Swann stood down as Chairman.
Turnbull is an employee of the Club that Swann owns plus owning everything else.
Got out so he does nt have to face the consequences of his policies when we get relegated in a couple of weeks.
Relegation will not be on his CV !

I received an email from the Chairman of the Iron Trust which he gave me permission to put on Iron Bru Site

The stewarding at Scunthorpe United FC has been a cause of concern for the Iron Trust in recent weeks.
I have asked Humberside Police to look into the incident of the ‘cuffing’ which I did witness from the west stand to ensure no laws have been broken by the steward.
I have also asked them to look into the stewarding in general and the disparity between how home and away supporters are treated.
John Needham has discussed this issue with Paul Hurrell and is due to meet Phil Jacklin Head of security at Scunthorpe United on the matter.
We are particularly concerned about those stewards giving the appearance of riot police.

The ‘ I ‘ mentioned is Tony the Chairman of the Trust.

Now that Neil is on the Board representing all the Fans how is he going to inform us about issues raised by him on our behalf and the outcome and also what has been brought up at Meetings he is allowed to tell us.
I appreciate that there are sensitive matters that he will not be able to discuss.
As Neil is representing all Fans I think that it is important that there is a structured feedback to us.

I think that Neil will try his best and the fans will get to know bits and pieces of information.
He and Simon will sit at Board Meetings powerless however because the Swann Directors have complete control.
Will anything change while Swann in charge ?
I very much doubt it !
    Good luck Neil.
