We have a Fans Director who does not communicate with the Fans he represents.
He seems to be accountable to no one !
The Supporters Organisations who put him in this position never comment either about his actions or lack of.
He attends Board Meetings when Mr Swann decides to have one along with Mr Turnbull an employee of the Club but the Fans never get any feedback and when he’s asked all he ever quotes is the non disclosure act.
So what have the Fans gained from having him in position ?
If you read the other Fans Sites a great majority have no confidence in him and openly criticise his lack of communication.2 users thanked author for this post.
You don’t owe the Taxman for long.
You either pay up or they wind you up.
We ve no money so looks like the second option favourite !1 user thanked author for this post.
Is the Hotel at Blackpool making money !
You are joking. It’s years behind and still not finished.
Think this latest revelation re Mr Swann spells the end for any takeover and our Football Club.Just shows how low our Club has sunk.
A local Derby that would have generated much needed funds !
Who ever agreed this should be ashamed. If the staff do not get paid I wonder how long Mr Turnbull will be there as he’s an employee ?
It’s about time our Fans Director stood up and be counted.
I appreciate there are confidentiality clauses on some things but he publicly says nothing !
He seems to be more loyal to the Club than the 2000 plus Fans he is currently representing
A statement is needed from the Club and certainly one is needed from OUR Fans Director who by saying nothing much publicly most if not all the time has become part of the many problems.
We need to be hearing from him !2 users thanked author for this post.
The silence from our Fans Director is beyond a joke !
It’s about time all the Fans Groups who put him there started having a word.
If he has not got the skills required to communicate with the Fans he represents it’s about time they put someone in that position who can.
What’s the point of having a Fans Director ?
Why does nt he organise a question and answer session for example ?There is no money to replace the Manager and you can bet several players will be gone in January.
What we have is what we are stuck with it won’t improve , more than likely to get worse.
The Club is just drifting along until Mr Swann pulls the plug !
Could be lucky to see the Season out !On this Forum and through other sites and Supporters Organisations in the past it was a complaint that Mr Swann did not regularly hold meetings with Supporters in the form of the Forums which I believe are required by the EFL to happen.
After years of trying , mainly by the Trust we now have a Fans Director.
I appreciate that there are lots of items that he cannot comment on due non disclosure agreements but surely one of the first positive things he could have done was to make sure these meetings are held.
What have we had , one coffee morning which was only for Lee Turnbull to try and flog Season tickets , at a time when a lot of fans were at work , college etc. It was said at that meeting that there would be other meetings etc so others could attend and to my knowledge there has not been one !
Social media is not as good as a properly chaired face to face Forum.
I m afraid it seems that Neil seems to have fallen straight into line with Mr Turnbull who himself from being all over social media when trying to sell Season tickets for his boss Mr Swann seems to have totally disappeared !
Have things for the fans really improved since we got a Fans Director ?The whole problem with the Fans Director is that there was no proper lines of communication set up from day one and also rather than quick ad hoc meetings with Fans at games why are not regular face to face meetings held with Fans for any updates and also Fans views put across.
From day one the Fans Director position has been a P.R / Communications disaster.1 user thanked author for this post.
Neils become a part of the problem.
He is now more of a Director than a Fan !
He has no real communication with the fans and a lot of the fans had no idea how he was elected but that was not his fault.
His communication skills are not great a quick dash out the Directors Room pre match and at half time hardly covers this.
Why has nt he set up some Forums which the Fans can go and meet him and ask questions etc ?
The Fans waited a long time to get representation on the Board so how about some regular Fans Meetings Neil after all you are on the Board representing the Fans not Neil Wright !2 users thanked author for this post.
I really cannot understand why anyone takes any notice of anything Mr Swann says or hints at that is going to happen.
I think the latest was just to try and get fans back as the Club desperate for cash.
I really doubt that the Club I have supported for over 60 years will be in existence next year!4 users thanked author for this post.
Think the takeover will be completed just after Swanns New Ground opens !
The Club are desperate for money but could not pay cash for a ticket at the Ticket Office I m told tonight.
What a joke !Fans Director ?
How long was he voted on to do this job ?
Does he come up for re election any time soon ?The Hotel in Blackpool seems to be the cause of all his problems.
Apparently no where near finished. Is work even still in progress on it ?
Swann playing with takeover ! Has he any intention of accepting a bid ?
Don’t think we we need to worry about the Team as I doubt we will have a Club before to long. The Club will lucky to last the Season out !

Metro is bus replacement for last part of the journey.
Rang yesterday and told buses every 15 minutes and it adds about 20 minutes to the journey.1 user thanked author for this post.
Surely the Club are currently funding themselves.
Mr Swann mortgaged the Club and no doubt it’s this is from this money he is funding the Club.
So what happens when the mortgage money has gone ?There will be no takeover this Season so this is what we got !
Will we go part time in National League North ? That’s if we are still on the go !1 user thanked author for this post.
Swann Junior favourite for the job.
I have sent him 2 messages and they asked serious questions and he has not replied to either !
I m afraid he is becoming part of the problem.
He is there to represent all the fans and I appreciate he cannot disclose sensitive information and I would not expect him to.
But I think he should go on record to say how the vast majority of fans feel about the things going on at our Club.
Apart from being a Director surely he has also has to be accountable to the various fans groups who put him there !
Does he report back to them ? If so surely they should relay this to their members or if he does not then why does nt he as he is there as a Fans Representative and not Neil Wright !
It seems to me that he needs to be more proactive and not a messenger for the Club.
I thought that it was great that we got a Fans Director and thought that Neil was a good fit for the position but I m sorry to say that in my opinion he has become part of the problem.
Before he was a Director he was very vocal about the Club and now nothing and his PR leaves a lot to be desired.
I also think we hear nothing from the various supporters clubs who put Neil in this position.
Surely they should be saying something or advising him.
Are they happy with how he’s handling the job ?
There is obviously something wrong due to the amount of criticism he is getting from all quarters !
Surely this is not how the Fans Director role was supposed to go.1 user thanked author for this post.
Turnbull has no authority at all.
He is just an employee who’s job it is to run the Club.
Swann knows that with Turnbulls background with the Club he could attract more fans and sell more Season Tickets than Swann himself.2 users thanked author for this post.
Mr Turnbull has done a good job for his boss Mr Swann and that was to sell as many Season Tickets as the Club could to reduce the amount Mr Swann has to put into the Club.
As for Neil Wright he is there representing the Fans and even if he does not agree with all the worries etc it his job to put these worries forward and respond with any replies he gets.
We have lost to a part time team , 10 man team for over an hour and a team who were 3 0 down.
The other loss we were just absolutely awful and I had the misfortune to be there !
But all we hear from the Club is silence !3 users thanked author for this post.
He might as well not have turned up !
Either just stood saying nothing or sat down motionless
Their Manager was and shouting etc all the match.
He never gave the fourth official a moment.
Is Hill really a Football Manager ?
Or is he Mr Swanns way of getting the Club into oblivion ?
3 wins out of 37 says it all and he still has a job !2 users thanked author for this post.
Forgot to mention in the original post that we also have a Clown !
Trouble is he doubles up as the Manager !2 users thanked author for this post.
Takeover is another smoke screen like all the off the field things that Mr Swanns employee Lee Turnbull is doing to mask the very poor Manager and on the showing on the last 2 games very poor Team.
Came out of Tuesday nights game and it felt just like coming out of one of last seasons games !
Nothing seems to have changed on the pitch and I doubt with the takeover.
Mr Swann has been very shrewd in appointing Lee Turnbull who is bringing money into the Club and because of this he has no need to sell.
The only real changes we have at the Club are Chip Vans , Face Painting , Singers and loads of small posters going up around town.
We still have the same owner, same Manager and on the showing of the last two games players not much if any better than we had.7 users thanked author for this post.
Should not still be at the Club.
His actions in the last home game towards the Fans should mean he never wore the shirt again
Anyone in any other business who did that to a firms customers would have been sacked on the spot !1 user thanked author for this post.
If he is staying then we need to sign a Striker !

It’s ok saying Nuttalls gesture was spur of the moment etc but I did nt see it but read he also carried on after the final whistle !
If that’s true it’s hardly spur of the moment.
In most professions his actions would lead to instant dismissal contract or no contract as the Fans are the Clubs customers.
He should go and we will hardly miss his goals ! -
