It’s bad enough the Club moving the game to New Years Eve but why are the Club being so secretive about why they have done it.
All that the Fans have done and still are doing to save our Club and then they are ignored when asking for a reason for this change. What has happened off the pitch is getting muddled up with what’s happened on the pitch.
Michelle , the Board , the Fans and all the Town have got behind saving our Club which they have done and what a great success.
But on the pitch we have had a Team of full time professionals playing in what is mainly a League occupied by part time Teams.
Yes the players take some responsibility but Jimmy Dean has mainly selected the players we have , picks the team , sets out the way he wants them to play and motivates them. He also is responsible for changing things during the games.
Dean had 2 chances to get us promoted either by winning the League or the play offs and sadly failed on both counts.
He may be a nice bloke , passionate about the Club , etc etc but this has not got us promoted.
The Board need to let Jimmy Dean go and we need a fresh start with someone who might not be a nice bloke but can win football matches.
Whilst Jimmy Dean is in charge the fan base is going to split over him.
It might be a hard decision but the Board have to let Jimmy go or I can see us being in the same position next season .
Giving him 10 games or what ever could be 10 to many.
Just like hard decisions made of the pitch then a hard one has to be made over Jimmy Dean4 users thanked author for this post.
If I remember correctly at the Trust Meeting last night we were told i think it was 19 players out of contract at the end of the Season.
Will Hilton have another name change after all this ?
Non of Hilton’s statements ever seem to comecome true !
Will this statement be removed like the rest were soon after posting ?Non of Hilton’s statements ever seem to come to f come true !

Does that mean Mr Hilton will have to make all his statements on ‘ Iron Bru ‘
I think the latest 3 statements have been removed ! This seems to be the norm for statements on that site !
I see the mouth piece of Scunny Fans site has posted an account of his inter action with someone of Twitter on Scunny Fans Site !
After the latest statement by the Chairman it’s hardly going to help him in his Court case with Mr Swann
As for the proposed new Ground again after the latest Statement will any Council or Development Fund really invest public funds into its proposed development.2 users thanked author for this post.
First the Buses for away games stopped being run by the Club.
Now the Catering.
Had an advert out for a Chef for the last week !
Now getting rid of the Catering etc.
Surely they had all summer to sort things like this out !
What the hell is going on .
Does nt seem to be any plan and changing direction daily !It’s been like it for years. Thousands of pounds of lost revenue every season !

GO
Did nt Dawson come through the Academy and I m sure we got money from Celtic for him ?
Listening to his interview tonight on Humberside tonight says it all !
Just sounded like he is totally out of his depth.
Not sure he’s even good enough for National League North !
Did we really need a new Manager ?We’re nt we here with the Local Consortium before Xmas ?
I requested that the Trust hold a meeting of all members to get views etc.
Apparently discussed by the Committee prior to this letter but by their rules you have to give 28 days notice to call a meeting.
Says it all really !!
Playing politics when quick fast action needed.
Might not even have a Club in 28 days !2 users thanked author for this post.
I m not suggesting organising a mass pitch invasion , that’s down to an individual to decide for himself.
You will not stop these.
I m talking about getting support from fans of other Clubs , may be a properly organised protest march like the one for the steelworks several years ago which could include others apart from fans such as Councillors , Business people , fans from other Clubs etc. ending in a protest outside the Main Entrance. As a member of the Trust I asked the Trust today when they are going to make a statement.
Apparently the committee having a meeting tomorrow and statement will be issued on Friday
Also I suggested they should hold a meeting of all the members so they can properly get the members views.
If ever there is a case for a meeting of members this is it.I am a member of the Iron Trust and I have made my opinion known to them.
The time for sitting on the fence has gone and the action by the fans has created more publicity in 10 minutes about what’s happening to our Club than all the talk and lack of action by the Trust and also all the other supporters organisations have up to now.
In my opinion and I have told the Trust that at the very least they should ballot their members about if the Trust should support protests.
I have been a member of the Trust from the start but if they do not at least ballot the members on if they think the Trust should back the protests then they will get my resignation from being a member and my £60 a year.
What action the Trust takes should not be up to 2 or 3 people !
It’s time for the Trust to stop playing politics.6 users thanked author for this post.
Well done to the young lads who went on the pitch.
You have achieved more in that 10 minutes than months of no action and talk or rather lack of it by the Supporters Organisations.
They have achieved in bringing what’s happening to our Club to the whole country.
Obviously as soon as this happens Mr Turnbull who is Mr Swanns employee so does as he is told like any employee puts out a statement.
As for any police involvement with the fans who went on the pitch in the future shame on him for even mentioning it.10 users thanked author for this post.
Must have missed the fighting back bit of the match !

Well done to all the youth who demonstrated on the pitch.
Should have happened months ago and they have certainly have put older fans to shame especially any who sat and shouted for them to get off the pitch.
That 10 minutes on the pitch raised the profile of what’s happening at Scunthorpe United Football Club to national level.
Any publicity is good publicity !
All those who sat and jeered them all l will say is what are you doing to try and save our Club ?
I was in the Main Stand and with others stood and applauded the youth and told a few objectors to do one !
Sorry to say it could be to little to late but there’s always hopeTotal of 22 users thanked author for this post. Here are last 20 listed.
Bullshit is it.
You need to read up on statutory redundancy payments for employees of companies.
As far as I am aware he is an employee like the rest of the staff.Nothings changed at the Club Board level now Neil resigned.
Swann owns and runs the Club through Lee Turnbull who is employed by Mr Swann.
Lee will not resign as he would be out of work and lose any pay off he would get when the Club goes bust !I totally respect Neil for making this decision and I personally think he should have done it weeks ago and I have previously told him this.
I think it makes a loud statement about the Club.
As for not having a Fans Director we never really have had one in reality.1 user thanked author for this post.
I agree and think he should make a statement and then resign.
It would make a big statement to the Fans and the Club.
What would fans lose by him doing this ?2 users thanked author for this post.
