    Nelson died at Trafalgar!

Does anyone know someone called Collingwood?

Holidayed on the Spanish battery last year, the statue of Lord C was virtually in the garden.

Nominations for the fan director are put forward by the various Supporters groups. It is a two year position and the main club board have no say on the person elected.

How they treat the incumbent of course remains to be seen now and in the future.

It strikes me that Mr Wright is being treated more respectfully at the moment by the club than the fans.

There are other fan positions, which people have been appointed into which seemingly do not attract the same level of criticism.

They too are quiet, so this looks like an agenda against Mr Wright. It is doubtless that AN-Other in the FED role could say or do much more.

You do not need to be a bookmaker to predict relegation. Just pop along to any game home or away and see for yourself.

Players are going through the motions, without any pride, passion or integrity, Its painful to watch this hapless bunch meander to relegation without a care in the world.

They are badly led managerially and simply changing the manager and owner wont make them any better players.

The longer the non-sale of the club continues the harder it will be to turn around the clubs current plight.

    Daws is a clog head.

The club is in the shit.

The London mob have lost interest due to Man Utd and Liverpool becoming available.

Ernest Pawn is a really nice person just misunderstood.

Butterfield needs Whitehouse in there so he can push on and create, whilst Whitehouse holds in front of a back four( can’t stand five at the back).

Daws is clueless, reflective of the person employing him.

Daniels was a poor signing from the onset, but could certainly do a better job at fullback than the hapless give a goal away a game O Malley.

Whitehouse is an holding midfielder and would suit our midfield at the moment and allow playing a back four instead of a back five.

It would also allow Butterfield to push on and play to his strongest attribute ie being a creative player.

    Daws is clueless.

This shoddy lot haven’t got the passion or desire to fall down let alone fall out.

Only Butterfield and Nuttall look anywhere near footballers.

Utter shite v Maidstone beaten in every department again, give away a goal a game O Malley and oops I have slipped again and again Rowe. We need a GK, two centre halves, two fullbacks, an holding midfielder, and a goalscorer.

And a new manager and coaching set up, beaten by a very very poor side who were better than us.

We are in this dire mire due to Daws who has produced not one academy player who has made a decent regular contribution to the first team or been a saleable asset.

Agree with Cass, never rated him in the first place.

Was non-plussed to see him leave and even less impressed to see him back.

Others with football knowledge must agree as he did not get snapped up by another League club and only made Northern Premier league a few weeks back.

Southgate is playing football the FA way. The defensive shite is peddled at FA coaching schools.

That’s why we also play shite football. The only way to rid us of Southgate is to target those faceless imbeciles within the FA.

Was still the Old Show Ground last time I went to a match with flairs.

On a more serious note York’s needing the trainer on every 5 minutes for mysterious injuries and the referees “look at me” antics both disrupted the game far more than the Donny Road boys.

At last somebody at the same game as myself!

Should have had a penalty when Apter was brought down by the poleaxed keeper who luckily recovered once a free kick was awarded and not a penalty. It was more clear cut than the one awarded to York.

Lionel Blair’s (flares) used to have some 20″ flared jeans could get a football hidden in them when at junior school.

    Hang on a mo!

Daws is the problem, when have we seen a decent footballer come out of our own academy system under Daws?

And when did we see an home grown striker make it at our own club?

Taft makes mistakes that cost goals he appears to switch off at those times.

The Rochdale friendly set alarm bells ringing down our left side of defence.

At least Daws see what we see and knows our youngsters are simply not good enough, hence bringing in a young lad from elsewhere.

    Some interesting points.

I have always vowed that in my support for my football club, I will not be beaten by any chairman, manager or set of players.

Last season proved that when we had/have the worst chairman ever, the worst manager ever and the worst set of players ever.

Up the Mighty Iron but the stay away supporters and I fully understand their stance will only assist Ernest Pawn in terminating our club.

I won’t let the evil, little lying bastard and his ego beat my stubbornness. Cos it’s the only thing that keeps me going!

In the first half we were in the game as it was stop/start with no urgency and no flow. Second half the game was flowing and fast, we were knackered physically and mentally, capitulated again when the opposition ran at us down our left hand flank, conceding far too easily.

Few if any telling shots or efforts on goal and no creativity. Worse still no passion or desire.

Admiral Lord Nelson couldn’t muster a win out of this hapless lot.

Because of the way you defended Ernest, and believed everything he said for so long I cannot give you a thank you.

It is a pity for you that the light only came on as energy prices rise!

Hill was a disaster he was going to come in have a fitter squad and get us out of the mire.

Senior players would not train so he then threw in youngsters who were clearly not good enough or ready. We regularly failed to win, draw or even have a shot on or off target. This ensured our relegation from the Football League.

He then brought in his own players, we won one game which turned against us when Yeovil brought their number 15 on. The same frailties as last season became apparent once again left back and left half. He also started pumping the ball long.

He then brought in two loanees Apter looked okay, the other midfielder was extremely poor, as was Wallace. These inexperienced players replaced seasoned professionals who Hill brought in.

Against Halifax we were slow, not up for it, failed to have more than one shot in the first half and managed not much more in the second, though the team looked better with the substitutions.

Nothing had changed from last season despite Hill bringing in his own players. Relegation again was and still is a real possibility. All the good work off the field was being undone.

Then two radio interviews sealed it for me, McMahon blaming the players after Bromley and the other on Monday by Hill which was pure arrogance.

Ernest Pawn has called this right.

Good riddance to Hill and McMahon, the latter blamed the players after the Bromley game and it suddenly dawned that he was the coach under Cox so he had to go too.

Hill on Bumbleside yesterday was a total arrogant git, the worst manager we have ever had.

Pawn did not want a fan on the board he would have to have one as part of the fan led review now or later.

Whoever is in the position of Fan director is in a no win situation. That person cannot divulge confidential information the same as none of us can reveal the things we see or hear within the companies we work for, and it’s worse for those in managerial roles.

At the moment Ernest is not interested in anything except off loading the club,so he won’t be listening only talking to update fellow board members on what is really happening behind the scenes. We can all speculate but those in the know are bound by confidentiality and rightfully so.

If any Fan director of any club breaks trust they would lose the respect of those giving the information and many of those recieving that information.

The Fan director when the opportunity arises will be telling Ernest how it is in a tactful way. Ernest is a small man, who likes to bully people especially those with lesser means, that’s virtually all of us. He does not like to be challenged either and as a result he behaves in a manner which makes one question the level of his intelligence and therefore he needs handling carefully. Look at how he has treated Bax Mell and the local rag.

Trying to goad publicly a Fan director won’t make them reveal things either, if they did we would not respect or trust them and neither would any board or chairman of any club.

The role under the current tenure, with all the constraints and the many negatives on and off the field is pure poison and would be for any Fan. Luckily our one has thick skin and broad shoulders, his time will come when and if the club is ever freed from the tyranny that is Ernest Pawn.

I saw it as well Jackie. It was on Twitter. It had video and audio.

Dammed clever this technology stuff these days.

Reducing to once daily thereafter for ever. If unsuccessful or any lapses may require hospitalisation and IV insertion or permanent implant.

Wow Jackie you saw a radio interview! What vision can you play left back or left half?

Only joking Jackie, I think Keefy weefy ought to reminisce as there unfortunately won’t be anymore highs to his managerial career, and our Ernest will only wake up once we have one foot firmly in the National League North.

The excuses will be delightful however from sewage discharge into the seas, drought in 1976,strikes by the RMT, Ukraine forcing Russia to invade it (the world’s narcissist dictators must stick together). Rising energy costs causing only one floodlight to be used for night games blinding our left backs in one half and them unable to see at all in the other! Takeover/non-takeover taking over everything but errr a takeover!!!!
