Drops too deep as a centre forward when on for Whitehall, slows the game down and changes the dynamics of our own side.
It has cost us in the Brackley and Shields games as we end up playing in our own half, not clearing our lines hoofing it up to Beck which puts the ball 50/50 but more so 30/70 due to Becks win ratio..
Then there is the other minor issues of two games on the trot with teams beaten letting them back into it very cheaply, then hoofing the ball up for 17 mins v Shields thinking it won’t come back and cause us a problem.
Football is a possession game so why hoof it straight to them. Especially when the strike force has dropped deep ie Beck so effectively you are playing the game in your own half.
Needham Market won’t be any different I suspect.
Making hard work of it but yes it’s a goer. AB is determined to stop the ascendancy with poor substitutions and non sensical game management.
He seems to learn one thing at the expense of another.
Anti Iron Trust protagonists Earl and Jerry have caused people to join the Iron Trust.
That’s Iron….y
Apparently,Iron Trust membership is unsurprisingly growing due to the negative media attention by the likes of Stuart, Jerry and Earl.
It’s Iron…y really the very people who abuse the Trust are helping swell it’s membership.
I strongly suspect the club knows that this group are renegade and by them becoming legitimised allows a certain amount of control, hence club puppets Jerry and Earl being involved.
Michelle has played a blinder in exposing Stuart through praising him and encouraging him, thus tickling that massive, nay enormous ego.8
Hence we all know about him and have looked and explored why he is being lamented above and beyond many others who have helped save and sustain the club, despite him being an Hiltonite the very person whose apparent sole agenda was to destroy the Iron for his own gain.
Stuart has lapped up the adulation and virtually signed autographs among his faithful. The cynical have pounced, and the outing of Stuart regarding an apparent liking for ladies of questionable age is his downfall.
Claiming to have been hacked whilst carrying two parallel accounts won’t really wash.
Here is the crux, as a person who holds enhanced vetting, I cannot be seen to be associated with any person who may be involved with children in a sexual way.
If one was truly ‘hacked’ in this manner there are certain protocols to follow which is a form of protection for the innocent.
Showing someone a bank account statement would not be one of those steps.
This lad is the only player we have with a footballing brain and one of only two players who can score, if he leaves it’s season over, and you can kiss goodbye to even the last play off spot.
Whitehall, Harris and Carlton scored well over 60 goals last season in NLN, but couldn’t even manage a shot a game under hapless Andy.
No Roberts, no promotion.
One group are like a David Attenborough documentary the other more reminiscent of Balamory.
Only just catching up on the day’s events and not on social media.
I would be very surprised if the Iron Trust became embroiled in a social media spat it’s just not their style.
I like the ‘oven ready’ tag of them. When I look at the quality of the Trust board and those being associated with the new Unity group there is no comparison quite frankly.
Only Karen Lee has a modicum of my respect. The other 3 all openly slate the Trust at times, one does it in eight minute You-Tube videos, whilst Jerry and Earl do it verbally.
Stuart is the driving force for the fundraising and the brains behind the operation.
Jerry is just Jerry but very misguided at times.
The other one is not worth a thought!!!!
From Jerry on the Cults page. I think that’s fair. It wasn’t such a terrible miss.
‘It seems that Beck has become a target from some of the supporters along with the
manager. Beck’s confidence must be at an all time low and with so called supporters slagging him off how is his confidence going to grow.’
Jerry does not talk like that if you really know him, he thinks the same as we do, but can’t say it due to being a volunteer at the club.
This is posted to deflect away from Becks signing. Who spotted him, who wanted him, why play him, how much is he on and how much did he cost?
Can we get rid and recoup money or write it off as a learning curve?
9 points, and let’s face it we will probably beat Brackley, draw with Shields and lose to Market. will only keep us at pace with Kidderminster who are 4 points ahead and a game in hand which they will win.
Stan will play three different line ups with out any forethought or planning
Ian Ormandroyd, that twit from Forest who played one game, Alan O,Meara, Ron Wigg, Damien Henderson, Ian Miller, Dan Gallimore.
But he is right up there.
Could he be loaned to Keadby Town Dribblers reserves on an 18 month loan with no recall option in the deal?
Most of us would accept a point away at Chorley as a decent result.
But last week’s debacle at Rushall given their 7-0 drubbing by Spennymoor makes it imperative that we pick up all 9 points at home in these next 3 matches.
Those will allow us to keep pace with Kidderminster.
I am not retired yet, but watching this AB team is depressing.
Hated 5 across the back and probably always will, however Buxton showed me how it can work and played the system beautifully, I agree about Scarborough away but Buxton at home was a real eye opener. The 3 x 0-0 draws showed AB and AS were not really upto the job and the dogged belief in the 5 across the back system and claiming everybody was signed up to it really peed me and a lot of the fans off.
The Brogan loan looks like revenge on the fans as he was starting to play well and making AB look a complete plum.

I wasn’t a big fan of Danny Elliot, thought he spent too much time running anywhere but towards goal.
He could however score goals, so what were his wages compared to Botty Beck.
The real value is in how much we are/were paying per goal and on that issue Botty is a financial nightmare.
Good work but not a great advert for retirement.
Butler should set up to attack and not let the opposition play, then they would worry about us.
Other teams know he is negative, with limited tactical nous and a track record of bizarre non inspiring substitutions which usually turn the game against us.

Have you got a team in their quiz night next Friday.
You Deery,awaywego,Cass,CMC?
All fair comments, but my concern is with the manager and assistant clearly struggling at this level, what would happen should we gain promotion.
Though I am not optimistic given the inability to produce consistently good performances and results.
That’s why these nine points are critical!
The bloke was an imposter.
Someone said at the time he was a teacher at Foxhills, and got into a spot of bother over the incident.
Whether that’s true or not, I do not know.
Just watched his monumental six yard box clearance instead of scoring v Rushall.
He’s a complete arse and shall be referred to as Botty Beck.
If we paid money for this player, some serious questions must be asked of those who discovered this signing, wanted this signing, sanctioned this signing and continue to play this signing.
He is getting worse by the week and one or two goals won’t change that.

Too many lost opportunities to gain the top slot and then consolidate it.
3 X 0-0 needless draws at home means you have to make up the results on the road, especially against a team 2nd from bottom.
We are okay when ahead but have no answer when teams come back at us.
More NLN next season I am afraid.

So winning more than losing us a sign of a failure?
Not if others are winning more and losing less!
Didn’t like Dean, but at least he played football, had his players been fitter than we would have won the league.
Stan as coach should have had the players fit!!!!
Sorry it’s Hobsons choice for me!
Fans who were there today – was it the fault of players/manager/combination?
Who cares they are second bottom and we are supposedly chasing promotion.
1-0 up comfortable, to losing 2-1 without an answer when they equalised and then took the lead.
We were told he had learnt lessons from the first half of the season, well forgive me but two good results away at Peterborough and home v Kings Lynn had me believing that.
Today says not!

Only one noodle to blame I’m afraid and he picks the team along with the other chuckle brother!

If money is the issue, then the income from home gates is going down after we constantly shoot ourselves in the foot and miss opportunity after opportunity to seize the top spot and put distance between ourselves and the chasing pack!
Mind you I do not think Beck could even shoot himself in the foot!

2 weeks to bring a right back in and we prioritize a catering and events manager instead.
At least we seem to have money to throw around.
Maybe a right footed catering and events manager who can play right back Saturday/Tuesday!

Beep beep we used to chant.
People from my Army days still ask after “that bloke that used to run round the pitch”!
We still laugh.
