I have reported bad language on several occasions. No-one takes a blind bit of notice.
4:48, and the grim reaper has been waiting all day to celebrate another loss.
What makes stomaching the bad results even worsre is that the a-hole that is Alcy is actually celebrating. Sad old git.

NI, what the hell are you thinking?
Asking BS to write even more BS is unforgivable.
if we take out the Scunny youth who are making their way in the game that still leaves a lot of really poor quality players, unforgivably selected by the Chairman for professional contracts.
If we say the 20 players are paid on average £50k per year then we are spending £1m p.a. on playing staff who we would struggle to move on. We’d have to try and sell O’Malley for £1m to cover the cost of Swann’s folly!
Your complete quote:
“if we take out the Scunny youth who are making their way in the game that still leaves a lot of really poor quality players, unforgivably selected by the Chairman for professional contracts.

My removal of the first part of the quote made no difference at all. You clearly insinuate that they were all signed by Swann.
Don’t get me wrong, I think that the man is an egotistical buffoon, however, there is no proof that he chose them all. The trouble is that someone on here will say it and it gets repeated ad inifinitum, and then people treat it as fact.
There is plenty of ammunition with which to attack Swann, but it is unfair to make up something and then attack him with it.
……unforgivably selected by the Chairman for professional contracts.

So now we’ve gone from Swann influencing signings, to making a signing, to making 20 signings. Should there not be proof of this?
This is meant to be a football thread about taking the knee. It is not another place for the poor loser remoaners to harp on and on and on and on and on about Brexit.
A win. Don’t care how, just do it.
1 shot on target, 1 goal.
We never make it easy for ourselves.
I spent some time with young Swann about 3 years ago. He told me that he “had an eye for a player”. I asked him to let me have some names for the future. He gave me 5, none whom have ever made the grade (nor are likely to).
Sadly, I don’t believe that he can do the job required. He thinks he can, but I’ll even bet his father doesn’t believe it either.
A proper back 4 though Les.
So you all know the ins & outs of each case do you?
I’m not suggesting that the efl are perfect, they are not, but they have all the gacts in front of them. You are going on what you’ve read or heard.
Leave it to those whose job it is.
So you now have more time to tell Swann how to run the Club 😁.
We could have Mo Salah up front but if he never received the ball he would never score.
We need a miracle, or a couple of midfielders who can pass a ball forwards.
It’s not more experience players we need, it’s better players!!
Why should the EFL pay? Why not each club pay for their own, with certification to prove that they have?
Because presumably it was the EFL that decided that the new season should start in September.
So what? If we play in the league then we must follow the rules, which we know in advance. If we have problems then we must overcome them.
They don’t pay for the rehabilitation of injured players, nor for any operations that are needed. So why Covid tests?
But how many will still play tonight unaware that they could be spreading the virus?
The EFL should make money available for ALL clubs to test ALL staff now before it gets silly.
Why should the EFL pay? Why not each club pay for their own, with certification to prove that they have?
A tad sanctimonious, but very accurate.
Maybe they were in Munich talking to Manuel Neuer?
🤣🤣🤣
You can’t even give them a rollicking because because mummy or daddy in the family 4 x 4 never did.
Only kids from council estates had parents who taught them the harsh realities of real life.
Sorry but the writing was on the wall, National League here we come.
What a load of rubbish. You really should get out more & into the 21st century.
If you’ve got a spare £12-15M you might have a chance.
Personally I would give it to Lex Lamb, the telegraph’s chief sports writer.
He seems to have all of the answers…..
But what about WG? The man who knows everything……
Scunnymatt, just because I ask what proof there is that Swann is involved in picking the team does not mean that I support him.
A number of people on here post rubbish and yet it gets repeated and becomes “fact”. No proof, no logical reasoning.
My view is that Swann is unable to identify a decent manager. It is onvious that we need some experience at this level and we don’t have it.
He can’t be blamed for all the dross that has been brought in. Numerous managers over the years take the blame for that.
People who say that no-one with experience would take the role are wrong. There are a number of unemployed managers who could take it on.
Sadly, I think we will be stuck with Swann for some time. He hasn’t learnt much over the last few years, let’s just hope he has some sort of epiphany in the near future.
I have said it before its swanny whos destroying our football club. The clown clearly thinks you can cut corners in these leagues and we are getting found out consistantly…cox is just another string puppet who is going to do as he’s told. Shambles from front to back and the veg munchers were taking the piss enjoying the day out. Embarrassing once again!
What do you know that we don’t? Do you have any proof at all that Swann is involved in team selection and/or tactics?
Thought not…..
It is not too soon to change the manager.
We need experience.
Port Vale on target 3 goals 1
Newport on target 4 goals 1
Crawley on target 1 goals 0
Carlisle on target 2 goals 1
Tranmere on target 1 goals 0Certainly going backwards on attempts, so average of 2 shots on target per game, and averaging 0.6 goals a game, so it’s riveting stuff in our opponents half and something needs changing, and it’s not all the forwards fault, playing without wingers we aren’t getting enough crosses in for the big lads and our so called wing backs rarely go over the halfway line, still trying to work out what position Gillihead is playing in this formation, also why did we change Taylor and Vincent positions because we were woeful second half, also Rory was more back to form with that punch for the second goal.
Mick, you are being a little unfair. Your stats do not include attempts that were blocked. Many of these would have been on target.
That said, we are still very poor.
And a ban for fansy, for foul & abusive language
He will be very happy not to be memtioned on here at the moment. There only seem to be negative comments.
It’s the managers fault that he can’t put in consistent performances?
How do others manage it?
He can be excellent but, as Les highlighted, over all he is below average.
He’s had 4 clubs & more managers. Perhaps he isn’t good enough. He certainly isn’t on a regular basis.
Managed relegation 🤣🤣🤣.
Here we go again!!
He could think that, but I am struggling to see why he would think that given the performances we’ve seen so far in those positions, especially with Eisa. Gillead has played alright, but I still feel he’s more suited to the wing.
Also, this does give some evidence against the common denominator of the strategy/team being totally controlled by the chairman. You’d think if Swann was the one calling the shots he’d have had continuity between managers in term of playing position. However, Cox is playing Eisa and Gillead in different positions. This gives some suggestion that this is a managerial decision.
There is no proof whatsoever that Swann has been choosing the team. Where he is guilty is in choosing poor managers.
