indeed a cracking game tho im hearing Mullin is getting a bit of stick re POSSIBLY falling over for the penalty and then his Maradona moment ..alas means not a jot as the Cods never gave up and IMO deserved their win.
On a selfish note hoping Solihul win the final purely as already ststed it means 2 local derbies plus a packed away end .. the latter may happen a few times with some of the higher profile NL clubs .. ie Chesterfield , Wrexham , Notts County and Halifax etc.

Alas im predicting a Cod promotion as the way they have won the games sniffs of this is their year and well done to them and Hurst … kicked out ov GP cos he wouldnt put up with Swanns bullshit.. seems Hill isnt so straight and continues to try to run with the foxes n the hounds saying the right things to the fans whilst always watching Swanns back .. a yes man that IMO needs to go as soon new owners arrive IF ANY ARRIVE.

    PREDICTION Solihul 2 Cods 3

The silence is deafening .. whilst i realize we are in a sort of limbo stage re Swann selling and understandably not wishing to fund the club anymore it still would be nice for some one to keep fans informed re plans budget and any potential signings… enticing any half decent players here will be very difficult and if this state of comatose rumbles on through next season we are doomed doomed i say.

im guessing the owners of the open top bus needed to give it a run out prior to the MOT .. its a fact its not been needed by Swann SUFC all star A team recently and probably will be scrapped well before its needed again ..

Real possibilities for next season without new owners and huge changes … Relegation , Administration or Liquidation

Good luck to both Mansfield and Port Vale for the play off final this weekend .. no real bias or wishing a certain one wins just hoping for a good exiting game and no pens to decide it.

STRONG BIAS … hope some one can stop the Cods getting promoted.. after the Notts County result i got a real nasty feeling they will be back in the EFL next season

Another decent game Halifax v Chesterfield .. miles better in every way than the week in week out dross presented by our group. oh my days without any real change we will struggle massively next season.

Seems to be lots activity in the LI/2 transfer news , any SUFC updates , any new signings yet ?? … Hill may be away on summer Holiday soon hes had a long hard season n need to relax NOT.

If Swann is skint and it appears that way saying he will not put another quid into the club cant see how any new players can possibly come in ..time will tell but im not hopeful and preparing for the NL with Hills kids is very worrying after watching quite a bit of NL recently.

Also ..the Cods may go up thus loosing a local derby fixture .. after 94th minute and 119th goals against Notts County you gotta think its could be their year and a quick return to the EFL.

watching the Wrexham v Bromley cup final, end to end great quick incisive passing and play henceforth with our current mob it would be like lambs to the slaughter playing anything like this standard..

York City and Dorking into the NL .. again teams on the up whilst we are going the other way.

The silence is deafening! Any new players? any progress? what is the budget for the new season?

Whilst many other clubs across the footballing spectrum are signing , adding players and giving fans updates on their plans both financially and on the pitch what are hearing from the SUFC office or dug out .. absolutely fook all ..WHY?? .. IM GUESSING THERE ISNT A BUDGET OR EVEN A PLAN ITS GONNA BE CARRY ON WHERE WE LEFT OFF WITH THE SAME KIDDY SQUAD ..IF SO we are truly in real trouble.

One Example .. Walsal FC chairman doing interviews with fans answering their questions and even going on YT (walsal fan tv) again letting fans know whats happening in preparation for next season re budget etc.

HANG ON !! Wasnt Hill was raving about Bunn a few weeks ago .. says it all if a “”superstar”” like Bunn doent want to stay regardless of the deal, indicates signs he knows whats coming in the NL next season, if we cant appeal to a player like him WTF chance to we have of getting anyone else to sign .. we are screwed in every way.

Its at times like this that the fans need to be told what is happening with recruitment. Is KH, LT & WS looking at half decent players in non league or are we waiting to see what dross other clubs are letting go. If the club want fans to support the club then at least the club should be keeping the fans up to date. Our club webpage tells you nothing. The club have little or nowt to say. Now that is worrying.

Bang on.. how the club operates re keeping fans informed is hopeless yes there has to be a certain level of privacy but not even a mention of any targets to sign …also.. the website is crap and same old same old dross .. OTD bollocks , IN A COUPLE OF YEARS DOWN THE LINE IF STILL IN BUSINESS can we look forward to an OTD we got relegated to the NL and lost our EFL status vid.

Swann constantly asks fans to support the club buying season tickets , using the restaurant n buying merchandise but offers little back to keep fans interested and remotely enthused ..hes just going through the motions until a buyer comes in or the club is wound up goes bust.. either is a win win for him and the latter is favourite at the moment.

Does it make any difference if Bunn leaves … NO .. hes injury prone and i think hes goal tally stands at a stunning ONE .. bye bye Bunny.

Lots of names coming onto the market as the retained n released lists come out .. alas i cant see anyone actually choosing to come to Scunny over any other club with the mess we are currently in, kids it is then and if so we are doomed for a further drop into footballing oblivion. Our club is rotten to the core, just who would want to buy it is my issue, we need new enthused owners quick but then there is still the ground issue to over come.

Liked Hill when appointed but in hindsight we didnt get what it said on the can .. hes been and still is terrible in his selections , player management and his post match reactions make yer toes curl… im in the time to go camp on him, use the same taxi as Bunn n bye bye

Worryingly the Cods made the NL playoffs and could get promoted which will scrub off a local derby for next season, the thought of swapping places with them and having to listen to their semi literate crowing is unsettling so lets hope they loose.

im firmly of the opinion now that Hill is full of shit and comes out with the same post match BS week after week.. totally unfathomable selections and signings … imo hes not all hes cracked up to be re “”experienced” manager and has just wobbled from one game to the next.

Time to go … hes worse than Cox there i said it !! ,,unbelievable but true.

I hope to see experienced signings –

    1 GK
    2 CB
    2 CM
    2 CF

That would give a squad of 25 with 3 of those under contract to leave if possible.

Thats stuff what dreams are are made of … great theory but simply wont happen under the current watch.

Think this season was bad .. unless new owners and manager are found im predicting the next to be worse.

i was happy to see KH come here .. gave him time as he did inherit a crock of shite from Cox .. alas times up and his so called experience and footballing nous have been missing in action with constant strange team selections and signings culminating in total and utter embarassment today.

bye bye the the EFL and so it should be to Keith …thanks …for nothing.

Gotta feel for the Cobblers fans a tad this morning … for Scunny to ship 7 with such a young inexperienced line up may arouse the attentions of the FA and an investigation..

Could Northampton put in a claim maybe a points deduction next season ???

A fitting end to the season and sums up just how pathetic the club has become.

To field such an inexperienced side shows no respect to the name of the Club, the opposition, the remaining teams in the division where our game could impact on their final position AND OUR TRAVELLING FANS.

Nail hit squarely on the head. Well said.

YES agree totally .. another week another mish mass line up from KH ..in such a big game so disrepectful and UN PROFESSIONAL. KH you need to join Swann on the first train out of town..

    A DISGRACE !!

    A. The Chairman
    B. The Manager
    C. The Players

Swann is a total dreamer.his business acumen re running SUFC has shown just how much he cared , hes raped our club and calling him stupid isnt really accurate as i believe he has slowly but surely taken over the clubs assets thus protecting himself when admin or liquidation time arrives.. IMO he has systematically planned this over the last 2 seasons and sadly it has come to this ..SUFC playing their last football League home game later today.

Shameful .. but i bet he still sleeps soundly without caring one jot re his failings and what total clusterfook they have turned a once small solvent well operated football club into.

Its National Labour day here tomorrow and planned a wake along with a Sunday roast at my local eatery ..

Sad n dark days …praying we avoid being wound up and we will be back in the EFL but cant see it happening too rapidly with the current set up and employees.

Claret n blue all way through .. Scunny til i die

    Codheads.

wow that would be fun … im sure the local Bobbies would love that.

with the level of interest n support at an all time low they could play home games on a roped off Gunness playing field… mobile burger van and a bog and bingo its a go !!

possible ground share at Donnys Keepmoat ????

A REALIST here predicting further doom n gloom .. the club will do well to avoid admin or liquidation and survive only AT BEST as a mid table also ran in the NL…or god forbid drop even lower

Very sad but a true an accurate reflection of how i see things panning out if no new rich enthused owner is found.

I’m worried that we will continue to drop down into NLN, as there is almost certainly not going to be any money to spend on, at least half decent new players.

I did trust Swann for the first few years. But the recent asset stripping, plus the neglect of our team and our ground, (we haven’t even got a working scoreboard damnit), is hardly what I would call inspiring.

I really do fear for for the future, and hope that it doesn’t unravel in the next two or three seasons.

Yep pretty much spot on … now got used to the fact of NL and its woes but the thought and worry of a further drop is both shocking and sadly a very real possibility depending what does or doesnt happen re the clubs ownership and any subsequent investment etc.

They are a disgrace and need to go NOW.

Hills team selection against Orient was utter gash … as it has been on numerous other occasions.

Only he seems to know WTF hes doing and why .. his after match (defeat) ramblings are so tedious also.

new owners start from scratch .. keep a few promising youngsters but get rid of the whole lot of this current group of , has beens , miss fits and lazy blood suckers …including Hill ..i also do not trust him to build a squad going on what he HAS NOT achieved since taking over ..harsh but true

NEW BROOM SWEEPS CLEAN .. im praying for new rich enthused owners to get the club back on track in the next 2 or 3 seasons .. it wont happen next season or the season after … if the team stays as is expect to drop out the NL this time next year.

regardless what level they play at least be competitive … i shall for ever remain claret n blue all way thru..

Will you all just feck off with your political bollocks. Depressing enough that it’s a match day tomorrow.

Yes agree an accurate and most eloquent statement .. politics n footy should not collide IMO though the behaviour in the Houses Of Parliament do often mirror those in the Man City Athletico Madrid CL fixture tother day.

Back on topic .. i reckon if a simple YES/NO answer poll was taken Hill to stay it would be split right down the middle.. a few weeks ago i was a defo YES …alas now im a not.

Sharp and Maza .. great double act , get them in cant be any worse than Swann. Twill be interesting to see how the ground ownership is factored into any purchase ..lets just say we dont need Swann to be the landlord and paying him rent… 100% clean break new owners owning everything , new manager squad .. PROPER STRUCTURED INVESTMENT TOTAL REVAMP RE SET call it what you want… then in 3 to 5 seasons we MAY stand a chance of some success.
